OK, So it's an airport restaurant. Yeah, we expect it to be a bit more expensive. Your choices are a bit limited in this terminal of SNA, but Jerry's, on the pictures above the counter, looked like it was going to hit the spot. In the end, it was a pretty mediocre experience. Not bad, but not stellar. There was nobody in line and it was about a 5 minute wait for my hot dog. Not too bad, but wow if this place got crowded I'm not sure how it would hold up with the one person that was currently working. The dog itself was ok. Choices of toppings were ok. A Costco dog is definitely gonna hit the spot better for less than 1/2 the price, but once again, we're at the airport, not a warehouse club. So, overall, if you want a hotdog while at this terminal, Jerry's will do the job. It won't be your best dog, but it won't be your worst either!

Just ok - was hoping for something really good - wood fired is nice, but the dog and toppings were average. Slow, too.

Not a bad option if you're waiting in the terminal. Burgers have a nice wood fired taste, good flavor and the house sauce is delish.

Yes, you are reading this review correctly! Jerry's Wood Fired Dogs is inside the new terminal at the John Wayne Airport. You need to be flying to eat here! Service was da bomb. Ordered the dog combo I was interested in which was the mushroom combo with fries and a soda. Takes about 7 minutes to prepare everything but I was not in a rush so it worked out fine. The hot dogs are very fresh and as well as the french fries. Fries were hot and skinny just like I like them.I will be back when I fly again.

My hot dog came seriously charred. It was so burned that I could not eat it. (Take a look at photo to see how badly burned it was). Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to get them to replace before boarding my flight. The other Jerry's is good. I was expecting more from this airport location.

Why did they only have one poor dude running around doing everything? Terrible management. Horrible labor practices.

Jerry's Wood Fired Dogs delivered tremendous value for an airport restaurant. For $3.88 I got a Jerry's Signature Dog with chopped White Onions, Relish, chopped Tomato and Stadium Mustard. The dog was big and it is filling. Service was quick. The dog itself was a little chewy and not snappy.

First off there's only one guy working he was very nice but slow as paint drying. I ordered a signature dog which should've been $5.89 and a beverage which was 289.He asked me what topping I would like on it and they have no listing anywhere they're talking so I had to rattle them all off to me. It was so confusing and I just got catchup onion relish. He rang me up and said $15.89 please and I said, "what did I get?" And he responded "Airport prices! "And I was like $15 for a hotdog and a drink do you charge for toppings and he said, "No. "Then he looked and said "oh I rang up for two hotdogs"Then as I'm waiting I noticed him use his right hand to wipe his nose. He had gloves on but he was handling money so I don't know what this matter but I was happy to see him change that glove. He didn't however change the other glove which he was handling money etc. with. Then when I went to get my drink which he forgot to give me he wiped his nose with his other hand and did not change the clothes. He didn't touch any of my food since I already had it so I eat anyway but that's disgusting. If there is a guy with glasses working I would steer clear.. But if that's the kind of training to get their staff you might want to steer clear anyway.

There aren't many choices for food at JWA, so it was between Jerry's Wood-Fired Dogs or Javi's. Since I was hoping to get a quick bite to eat for lunch, I opted for Jerry's.Unfortunately, quick was not the case. There was one person working the place around 12pm, peak lunch hour. It took several minutes for the person to even acknowledge me as I waited in line. I don't fault the girl working there at all, since there were several customers who had ordered and she was busy trying to prepare their orders. However, this place needs to work on their staffing because having one person work peak hours is simply not common sense. The food was okay. I ordered the bratwurst, which was cooked a little too long. This was due to the one person there having to attend to other customers in line and not getting my food off the grill in a timely manner.
