I love a well decorated bakery. It's honestly so peaceful and aesthetically pleasing. I love that I can spend my adult money on things like this! They did have a $5 minumum cash only so when I grabbed the $4.95 moon cake the cashier told me I had to spend more than $5 to use my card! No biggie. I grabbed green tea cookies and they were very nice! Can't wait to have some with my tea. To my surprise, I really enjoyed the moon cake.

J.J. Bakery in Irvine is an absolute gem, and I believe it's Taiwanese. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a cozy and inviting ambiance with the delightful aroma of freshly baked goods filling the air. It's such a treat to browse through their incredible selection of pastries, breads, and desserts, everything looks and tastes amazing.Their taro bun and hot dog bun are my personal favorites, but honestly, everything they make is fresh and absolutely delicious. The cakes are light, perfectly sweetened, and always a hit.The employees are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. While they do provide parking, the lot is always very busy, so you may need to be patient. Despite that, it's completely worth it. I always make a point to stop by whenever I get a chance! The unique flavors and high-quality baked goods never disappoint.

5 Stars ALL THE WAY! I have no idea why this place only has three stars because if there were six stars available, that's what I would give this wonderful bakery! We discovered this place on our last trip from Vegas and when we were back in the area, we could not wait to get back here. Everything is so super fresh and it's not overly sweet. My husband and I always look forward to loading up on baked goods to keep in the hotel room and enjoy while we're visiting California and in the area. I really enjoyed the winter melon and read Bean pastries I had. My husband got quite a few croissant looking pastries one had tarot in it and it was absolutely delicious again not crazy sweet and the bread was so super soft & fresh. they have a beautiful case, filled with different kinds of cakes and all kinds of other delicious treats. I do not understand why this place is not 5 stars. In fact my husband wanted to come back and load up on treats to take home to Vegas!

This bakery is so underrated! I came in on a late night to pick up a last minute cake and they have a huge selection to choose from. I love how they have different sizes! I opted for a medium cake and it was the perfect size. They also threw in a "happy birthday" sign which was so sweet and thoughtful! We got the tiramisu cake and it was delicious.

Last minute pop in before my appointment at PureLux. I love Culver Plaza because there is plenty of parking spots and the aisles are nice and wide. JJ Bakery had shared outdoor seating which is nice. Convenient hours too. It smells heavenly in there. So many choices too. I had a Chicken Pie and it was fresh, warm and delicious!!!Ok, bye.

I came here for a quick snack/lunch! The egg and ham sandwich was good! Bread was soft and there was good amount of mayo throughout the sandwich. I also grabbed the "panda bread" which is a chocolate cake like bread that is wrapped around white bread. The chocolate part of the bread was pretty moist but the white bread part was too dry. I did enjoy the combination of these two breads though.Service was nice and quick. The cashier was very friendly and smiley. There are a few booths towards the side of the store if you want to sit and eat. Other than that, it's your typical grab and go bakery. They had a large assortment of sweet and savory breads, sandwiches, pastries, and cakes as well.

Came here to try their breakfast but they no longer serve it. Lots of parking in this plaza.

Pro tip- the cafe portion is closed. They are going to expand the bakery and will no longer have the cafe. Great variety of asian breads. But price is a bit steep. Taste is wonderful though.

My favorite bakery! When visiting the area I always stop by this bright and pleasant (and conveniently located) little shop ...they have a variety of moon cakes (lotus, date and walnut, red bean, green tea) difficult to find elsewhere...and if you're like me you'll end up buying way too many pastries-- there are just so many beautiful, delicious, and unique breads, cakes, cookies, and desserts (some of them I have to warn are extremely rich, such as the strawberry and cream bun--the only pastry I don't really like). They also have mango pudding (and other flavors), flan, and sandwiches. Prices are reasonable and service is always efficient and friendly.
