It's Boba Time in Irvine has an impressive menu in terms of variety, and I've never been disappointed with the quality of the drinks. However, my enthusiasm has waned due to the online ordering process which I tried for the first time today. The signup procedure was unnecessarily cumbersome, requiring too much information without offering a guest checkout option. This was quite off-putting, and after laboring on my phone to jump through all the hoops, I just gave up and ordered elsewhere.I would happily award four stars to due to the drink quality and impressive selection; I have to deduct one star for the online ordering system and the forced sign-up process. It's an area that could use some improvement to match the quality of its products.

Its Boba Time is a classic, solid spot to grab boba. We usually go for their taro, duet, and tiger milk teas. Some of their fruit drinks have an odd taste so I stick to the milk-based options. Ambiance and service are average for a boba spot. Biggest con for me is that reducing sweetness can make a lot of the drinks taste watery, as the flavor comes from the sweetener.

Back for some watermelon slushy with boba. Inside seems clean and tuned like a machine. All are staff are making drinks. Self service ordering if you are comfy with doing it that way. Otherwise wait for the staff to take your order when they are busy. Choice is yours.Drinks - slushy, smoothies, shakes, frappes, hot beverages, coffee, teas and shaved ice are some of the things they sell.Verdict - come over as they serve up good drinks in general!
