Been to a few IHOP restaurants and this location had the best bacon!! It was crispy, crunchy with every bite... the hasbrown and eggs cooked the way I requested .. we even got a free short stack of pancakes!!! Service too was just as good

DON'T GO to this location!!! They are awful and very unorganized...-First, tried to place order online and the website was not taking the order.. -Then all of a sudden, it went through with a double charge. -Called numerous time to place an order and NO answer. A recording came on to say "goodbye". -Went directly to the restaurant location and no manager was on duty. The staff was not helpful and was unaware of when a manager would arrive. -Extremely poor customer service. -This was not the case when the former manager was there, but he has since retired. He was fantastic!-As it is now, I would NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!

Something about fast food in Costa mesa just hits different?? I'm surprised the food is good quality, though service can be a bit slow and you now have to request other flavored syrups and sugar free syrup. But for a Sunday morning brunch the wait was not bad at all for only 10-15minutes. Their takeout container is cool and weird, sorta of like two lids meshed together bit separated compartments for what I suppose are for pancakes and sides. Anyways, it seems like a collective experience that everyone goes to ihop in high school and then forgers about it until years later when we are too tired of paying for overpriced brunch. It's homely, and plenty of options are available to feast your eyes though at first glance the menu might not seem thay much different. But this is where you think wrong, because ihop is like the cheesecake factory of breakfast and the portions are food coma inducing. I got the breakfast crepes and what I got resembled two breakfast burritos stuffed with egg, cheese, and sprinkled with abundance of bacon. It wad quite good, not too salty, cheese was distinct. But soo filling, I felt food coma after like 1/4 of it ( half of the first crepe) so the entrees are definitely shareable. I had a bite of the mushroom and spinach omelette which had quite a lot of cheese, spinach, and not memorable amount of mushroom, but still delicious. We also shared a stack of buttermilk pancakes which tasted like a solid staple and had the same nostalgic buttermilk flavor from a pancake mix and foldable fluffy quality of basic pancakes. Funny how they still have new collabs such as sonic the hedgehog themed pancakes. Overall, you can come here with someone and reminiscence how one day you may be old and come here as a weekly routine like that retired diner couple. The quality was surprising for something that fell off people's mind, and expect to be patient for what you get. Recommend to share for your tummys sanity.

Our wait was long to order and twice as long to get to our table. These poor people are understaffed and overworked ! Our waitress was nice and had to apologize several times. The owner needs to take note and hire MORE people for the amount of customers.

My fiancé and I came here on an early Saturday afternoon, it wasn't too packed which was nice. Our food was delicious, the biscuits are really something! Our server was nice and super attentive but the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the windowsills were filthy. Normally I wouldn't even think twice but there were a bunch of dead bugs and flies and tons of dust. I kept getting distracted every time I looked out the window.

Double Blueberry Pancakes for the win!!!!Those blueberry pancakes are phenomenal. The blueberry to pancake ratio is literally perfect. If you just "kinda" like blueberries, I wouldn't order this. lol You gotta love blueberries otherwise this with just overwhelm your tastebuds. We also ordered the sampler platter. A little taste of everything! The cheese sticks, onion rings and chicken. The onion rings are heavy on the batter- which I don't mind. But some people may not care for. The cheese sticks were really good. And the fried chicken also good (per my partner, since I don't eat meat). I ordered eggs and hashbrowns. It was tasty! Hit the spot. And we got an order of NY cheesecake pancakes. They were good, but the blueberry ones were our favorite. And my partner ordered the chicken and egg with hashbrowns. All of our food was good. It hit the spot for a late-night meal.
