I had such an amazing experience at I can Barbecue at the fountain valley location! The staff was amazing! Thank you to the manager and to Kathy for the wonderful service. If you're looking for authentic KBQ, this wasn't the place to go. But if you're okay with fusion KBQ, then it's fine. 1. The service can be a bit slow when the restaurant is full. 2. The quality of the meat is okay, but as I mentioned, it's more for those who enjoy fusion-style KBQ. The tofu and bean soup were a little salty for my taste and somewhat bland. 3. The ambiance is nice, clean, and not too loud.

We came during soft opening so not all the sides were available, which we only found out when we sat down and ordered off an ipad. Service is prompt. Several servers came ro check on us, refilled our water and sides, and changed grills to ensure meats didnt burn. Meats were great. I loved the beef tongue. The sides were great too. I loved the soups that came with it.Plenty of parking in this plaza. Place is spacious.

I went for lunch during the soft opening with a couple friends! The interior is clean and modern and there's plenty of tables for dining for big groups. They have an outside patio but it's not currently finished yet.Service is friendly and attentive and you order via QR code with your phone. They don't have the full menu available yet or alcohol but what they do have so far is delicious! From marinated meats to regular meats like bulgogi and lamb, they have something for everyone including seafood! The cilantro marinated pork belly to the marinated beef joo mul luk are all delicious. They have a variety of sides to choose from including garlic sauce, cheese fondue, and spicy tofu soup!I'm so glad there's finally an AYCE KBBQ spot in FV! I don't have to go to Garden Grove or Irvine to get my KBBQ fix!

Super cool! They have robots! They got the meats! They got the sodas. It's like $45 for the dinner and a soda.We went on the soft opening and didn't really notice any missing items except for liquor. I don't drink that so we good!We're local so we're coming back regularly. We as in my 83 year old mother.Technology is required. Using your phone to order and orders limited to four items at a time. They can help you order if you're phone challenged or visually impaired.Everything is delicious.

Tried I Can Barbeque on its second day of opening which is also Valentine's Day. At Brookhurst near Ellis, next to Shin Sen Gumi. The meats were decent, and while the service had some rough edges, they were clearly making an effort to ensure everyone had a good experience. Understandably, they're still adjusting during their soft opening.At $40 per person, the price felt a bit high, though that seems to be the standard for KBBQ these days. One nice touch was the included ramen at the end, which was a pleasant surprise. The host David was very nice and helpful to us, bringing us any forgotten orders or extra utensils. Ordering is done via your phone with a QR code unique to your table, so they bring your raw meats to you as fast as possible. My favorite was the marinated Korean short ribs, the classic 3 bones cross cut with thr sweet soy garlic marinade. It melted in your mouth. The soybean stew was also very good, and the banchan and salad were serviceable. I liked that they give you both the rice paper wraps and the radish wraps here. Wifey and I ended up eating 8 full plates of meat, various vegetables and side dishes, finishing with the ramen together in Lady & the Tramp sharing over the hot grill pot. Overall, the restaurant has potential if they continue to improve. It might be worth revisiting once they've had time to settle in. No alcohol yet as they wait for their ABC license.
