Huong Huong Food To Go-Bakery

Went here to see if they sell frozen food but they didn't. As I left lady made a rude comment about who would sell that. Went down the street and found a place that does. What was the point of making that comment? I will never understand how shops don't understand customer service. Stay away.

I thought I saw 4 stars, I must have been confused. I went there last week, it was only 6PM but they had the door locked, Yelp said they are open till 7:30PM. I went back the following day at 4PM, all the fast food counters were gone except for the combination plate to go. I ordered 2 fish items for $12, the caramelized mackerel fish was very salty, the fish soup was nothing special. I asked for the egg rolls, they said I'd have to order 10 for them to fry for me, I said I just wanted 2 to try to see if I like it before ordering a big tray for our Christmas party, they said no, I was going to walk out so the owner said she'd fry 2 for me. Well, it was expensive compared to another fast food joint for nothing, if I remember correctly it was $1.50 a piece vs 96cents at HONG LAN on Brookhurst, this had little ground pork, I only tasted jicama, the common vegetable in VN cuisine and Mexican too. Do yourself a favor go to Hong Lan, their egg rolls have crab and shrimp for 96c a piece, they also have all kinds of other fast food. Back to huong Huong, their grilled pork spring rolls were not good, for these rolls, go to either brodard or cho Tam Bien. The coconut dessert was tasteless and the following day, it turned, in other words, it was old, not fresh, I had to trash it. this place is a joke, everything is more expensive for nothing, there was no parking, we had to walk across the street and 2 blocks to find a parking. I have been going to Hong Lan for the past 20 years, after Covid, they no longer have grilled beef in wine leaf, my favorite. It was a mistake to venture anywhere else. 2 stars are generous only because they were 3 stars 5 years ago.

I placed an over the phone order and the food was ready for me to drive by and grab it quickly. Accurate and consistent quality of food.

My place to go for egg rolls. I always get a few hundreds of egg rolls to potluck. Everybody loves them. Just call an hour before pick up, they'll have it ready and call you for reminder. I'll keep my tradition of potluck as long as they keep making those egg rolls .

This review is for their goi cuon. They make the best goi cuon on Bolsa. It's just perfect size, portion of ingredients, and the herbs used in it. The peanut sauce is yummy too. I always go there just for goi cuon!

Their combo meal is $10 for 2 items. $12 if you get fish. Sometimes the fish here is so tough. The veggies are good and fresh but the price and portions are awful. You will be happier at Panda Express.

New name for the newbies. My first trip to this local favorite was a real treat. All of the food looks good, but there are no names of the dishes so you know it's locals only. I personally would like to know the favorites. The egg rolls are very very good.

This place is way overpriced now. I ordered 3 pieces of catfish and paid for $22. It's cheaper if you go to a restaurant to eat than go to Huong Huong food to go. The quality of their foods is not good anymore. I won't comeback to this place again.

The food is trash, smells like old stuff leftover from yesterday and way overpriced, $16 for this while other places only charge $8.50, threw it Way after 2 bites, stay away from this place

Ordered 40 eggrolls for a small, get together and pick them up. I felt so sick the next day only to find out that 90% of everyone else did as well. Not knowing which food it could have been we narrowed it down to who got didn't get sick and what they didn't eat. Come to find out my father who ate some eggrolls I brought home that night also got sick.. so it only confirmed it was for sure this bakery's egg rolls that gave us food poisoningThe amount of pain I felt throughout the night with cramping and the sweats and chills is so disturbing I will not be ordering here again. I am beyond embarrassed that it was what I paid for and brought that made us all feel sick.
