Hui Lau Shan

This is the nicest and largest Hui Lau Shan that I've been to. HLS used to be my favorite dessert shop in Hong Kong but they no longer exist over there. If you like mango, there's a good chance you'll like HLS. SERVICEGood. Order at the front counter and wait for your order. Pretty efficient. SHOP There are several tables inside. You can also use the tables outside. The shop is clean and so is their restroomPARKING Large, shared parking lot (free)

I can't believe it has taken me this long to find this gem. We came over the weekend after lunch to grab a sweet treat. If you love mango then this is your oasis. I have heard that the best time to go is in May when mangos are more in season and sweeter but we still loved everything we ordered. We started with the Jumbo Mango Chewy Ball, Mango and Coconut juice with aloe jelly and these mango mochi covered with coconut shavings that was in a 6 pack and devoured by the kids. What a refreshing spot to cleanse your palate after any kind of meal. They have about 5 tables inside and we sat against the wall with our large party. The service was fast and the packaging is just on point with the utensils being individually wrapped (love this). They had so much else on the menu that we barely touched the surface, so we are already planning our next visit.

Calling all the mango lovers to the best spot for fresh, delicious mango treats! Their pomelo with mango sago is one of my staples since it adds the right amount of sweetness from the scoop of ice cream and has chunks of citrusy pomelo to balance everything out. They have seating inside with adequate tables outside so it's the perfect spot to hang with friends. The service is also friendly and efficient as we got our drinks really fast.I highly recommend this place and I can't wait to try their other items!

I was so sad the other location closer to me closed before I could try so I made sure to go here while I was in the area. I absolutely loved this drink, even though I don't prefer mango drinks or desserts. I highly highly recommend!

This was my first time here, and I ordered the C8 with coconut jelly, fresh mango, and mochi balls. It was refreshing and just slightly sweet. The container is cute and makes for a great souvenir. The service was quick, and there's plenty of places to sit inside and outside.

Chewy mango ball and waffle. 10/10. Went to the Rowland Heights location. Would definitely come back!

If you love anything mango sago related, you'll love Hui Lau Shan! Located inside Alton Square, there is plenty of parking as well as things to do and places to eat/drink. HLS specializes in mango desserts/drinks. My go-to is the D3- Mango & Pomelo w/ Sago. It's the right amount of sweetness, you get chunks of mango, and a scoop of ice cream. Yum!! I did however, find the sago a little hard to drink at times because a small amount was still partially frozen and I felt like I was chewing on ice. They also have durian and mango flavored "pancakes", mango pudding, egg puffs, and more. You can find a different dessert menu at the front of the counter by the cashier.

Both my fiance and I love this place and came back so many times when we were in OC. The mangoes are so fresh, flavorful perfectly ripe - the mango quality is just so much better than other mango dessert places I've been to. Our favorite mango desserts are the mango yogurt, mango romance, and mango mochis. Also loved the black sesame porridge which was perfectly thick and not too sweet - reminiscent of the ones in Hong Kong. There's tables outside with umbrellas which is a nice environment to eat in.

I was visiting in the area and my friend recommended I try this desert spot and I am obsessed! I love everything Mango and this place definitely hit the spot! Every item was delicious and just the amount of sweetness I love! I love the different portion sizes available as well can easily share or enjoy our own. We had great service and it's a perfect spot to come enjoy a sweet treat! Definitely a must try if you haven't already!

I typically don't review, but I just had an AMAZING experience at Hui Lau Shan Irvine that I must write about it. I had trouble figuring out what I wanted to order, and the kind worker who helped me, Regina, was very patient and attentive. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and welcome. Regina was also extremely fast in getting my order out, which tasted so fresh and authentic!! I enjoyed my meal in an extremely well lit, clean area of the restaurant. Great food, even greater employees!!! I will be returning soon!
