I recently visited Hudson's, a delightful little cookie shop nestled in the heart of Irvine Spectrum, and I can't stop raving about it! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm, inviting aroma of freshly baked cookies that made my mouth water in anticipation. The cookies themselves are simply perfection--puffy, gooey, and crispy all at the same time. They are everything you've ever wanted in a cookie! Each bite was like a little slice of heaven, whether you prefer a classic chocolate chip or something more adventurous. What truly stood out to me, aside from the incredible cookies, was the friendly cashier. I can't wait to come back and try more flavors! Hudson's has definitely nailed the classic cookie experience, and I'll be returning whenever I'm in the area.

They got cookies! And it's $6 dollars for 1 cookie! Is it worth it? Short answer: no. When I go to a cookie place, I go for the chocolate chip cookie as a test. If they can do that good, then thumbs up from me. The cookie is about 4 inches in diameter and it's more cake like then a cookie. Cookies should be crumbly and this had a slight dense cake texture. The chocolate chips were melty, which is good, but it felt like I was eating a cookie cake. Let's talk about price. $6 dollars for a small cookie... brutal. A Sprinkles cupcake is $5 dollars and way better and more to eat. For $6, I can go buy ingredients for 2 dozen cookies and make better cookies. I also had to wait 5 minutes before I was served since there was only 1 person there and he was on a break.

My sister, came to visit me in Santa Monica. With the fervor of a convert, she insisted on experiencing Hudson's Cookies, a place that had her friend waxing poetic about their Laguna location. I, ever the gracious host and dry heat enthusiast, suggested the Irvine location. The Irvine Spectrum, with its semi-indoor, semi-outdoor charm and nifty misters, seemed like a perfect backdrop for what was about to unfold. We approached Hudson's like a pair of sugar-deprived bloodhounds, led by the tantalizing aroma of chocolate chips and sheer joy. The shop, a sight to behold, had a red carpet--yes, a red carpet--complete with a hot pink runner and a floral wall that seemed to say, "We take our cookies seriously." It was like walking into a boutique where diamonds were swapped for cookies. My sister, in a fit of what I can only describe as cookie-induced exuberance, ordered a selection that would have sufficed for a small army. There were s'mores cookies that made you wonder if s'mores had always been so spectacular and chocolate chip cookies that almost made me question my loyalty to walnut chocolate chip varieties. And then there was the brownie. When asked if I wanted the corner or the edge, I opted for the corner--because if I'm going to indulge, I want the part with the most crispy, caramelized crust. It was a revelation: dark chocolate with a depth of flavor that was almost philosophical, and not in the least bit saccharine.Hudson's Cookies are a revelation, far surpassing the overly sugary offerings from other cookie places. If you're searching for cookies that aren't just sweet but transcendent, Hudson's is your destination. It's as if they've managed to take everything right about cookies and wrap it in an air of impeccable style.I wish I could upload a picture of the cookie but I ate it! Trust me Run don't walk to Hudson's!

Mediocre at best.... $25 for a peanut butter cookie sandwich, brownie & sugar cookie - I expected more... there was a hair on a colorful sprinkle cookie and when I pointed it out to the man behind the counter he just took the hair off!!!! He didn't throw the cookie away!!! But all in all, the brownie was the best - just make sure you warm it up! The cookie sandwich tasted hard like it'd been sitting out all day...

Randomly found this spot called Hudson's Cookies in Irvine. The cookies are super good. The chocolate chip was my favorite. Had a little bit of salt on it too. The staff was really nice and helped me pick out a few different ones to try. Prices are fair for the size and you can tell they use good ingredients. Definitely check them out!

I'm glad he's either normally kind or maybe most people don't mind getting talked to with an attitude hell maybe he was just having a bad day. Regardless when we're paying for expensive cookies that aren't worth the price and then on top of that get talked to with an attitude why would we ever want to come back? If we gave him an attitude first it'd be understandable but still bad customer service. Hope you keep suckering people with your average tasting expensive cookies.Edit: sure go ahead and post the footage sometimes it's not what you say but how you say it. His tone came across as rude and aggressive to everybody in the group. Also idgaf about hunting for cookies someone in the group just wanted to go there on a whim I was less than enthused.Edit 2: Despite what the modern day liberal might think identifying somebody isn't racist for your edification and for your information I'm half Hispanic myself so if I was racist towards your employee I'd be racist towards myself genius. You private message me threatening to post the footage on Instagram and yet no post is made. I even told you to post it and yet no post is made... why? I think because you either haven't even seen the footage and are bluffing or because you were bluffing hoping I'd back off if you threatened to post the footage and I instead encouraged you to do so because my group is in the right. You claim you don't label the cookies because you prefer to speak to your customers yet when we the customers do just that we were quickly met with an attitude. Furthermore your own reviews have customers requesting for the cookies to be labeled so you talk to your customers yet don't listen to their feedback? You seem to take issue with getting a few negative reviews yet interestingly enough you sure have gotten quite the influx of 5 star reviews in a short time frame considering before my review your last review was like a month old. Just a little coincidence I noticed not an accusation or anything...
