We placed a catering order for an office party and the food, service were excellent! When I called, the manager/ owner Basel took the time to explain the menus, what would work well and not. I appreciated his honesty, professionalism, and the passion about this family business. The quality of the food is great and feels like home cooked meal. The quantity is generous and for a party of 17, we had guests helping themselves for seconds and taking food home. The communication prior to the event was clear, and the food arrived on time, warm and packaged in nice serving dishes that were sturdy and of good quality along with utensils. The food was tasty, flavourful, fresh, filling while being light. Finding authentic Lebanese cuisine is really hard, but now we find our go to place!Thank you so much for making our office party filled with delicious and tasty food.Till next time!

Run...don't walk to House of Cedar! I can't say enough good things about the taste, quality, and customer service of this authentic homestyle Lebanese restaurant located in the Smart Kitchens complex of Irvine's industrial Sky Park area. The food is bursting with flavor and the high quality is overtly apparent. As a matter of fact, the combo shawarma had some of the most tender and juicy meat I've ever had in a shawarma. And the spices used on the meat were fragrant and intoxicating. I LOVE their simple crushed lentil soup and can eat it in every type of weather. The tabouli is fresh and perfectly tangy. The baba ganoush was smoky and savory. What is the cherry on top for me is the customer service of the gentleman who owns the restaurant. His passion for cooking authentic Lebanese food is obvious and from the conversations I've had with him, he prides himself in cooking with high quality ingredients and not cutting any corners. So while this may be a humble ghost kitchen setup without any bells and whistles, when you're in a mood for the best Lebanese food for pickup or delivery, give House of Cedar a try and see why it's the best in OC.

I absolutely love Lebanese food even more so than my native Persian cuisine, so when I heard about an authentic Lebanese spot in Irvine, I knew I had to give it a try. Before you visit, keep these things in mind:1. This is a ghost kitchen, not a full-service restaurant. It's best for takeout and delivery. There are only a few chairs outside--just four in total.2. Ordering is entirely self-service via a digital kiosk, with no staff on hand to assist you.3. There are no bathrooms available anywhere on-site.Regarding the food, it was just okay-- a bit underwhelming, especially given that Lebanese cuisine is typically so flavorful. The chicken was dry, the hummus lacked depth, and the rice was bland. That said, the fattoush salad, one of my favorites, was very good, with a delicious dressing. Overall, I can't say I'd return. The prices were quite high for the portions, and the quality didn't meet my expectations. If you're looking for a quick Lebanese meal, this place is a decent option, but don't expect much more than that.

This coming from an Arab woman who cooks all ethnic Arabic food, the food at House of Cedar is delicious. We ordered a variety of things and everything was so good. My husband is gluten free, and they are able to accommodate! The lentil soup was creamy and full of flavor, only critique is less lemon in the tabbouleh.

I order their kabsa, weekly. My kids *love* it! Tonight I noticed it was not available for online order so I ordered Bamyah for my kids amongst other dishes for the rest of the family. I called to see if by chance they had any kabsa left over. They had a small portion! I told the young man on the phone he can swap out the small portion for the Bamyah and he insisted on sending both their level of customer service is so endearing. I felt like I was dealing with family. Btw, my kids ate both dishes

Great option for take away. The food was tasty: chicken kabob was cooked properly, juicy, not tough, not burned. Very flavourful labneh dip, enjoyed it a lot with flat bread. Hummus is nicely blended and well-spiced, not too much tahini, not too lemony or garlicky, just tight for us. The server was very attentive and called back to inform that the food was ready.

Grew up in Lebanon, I regularly cook at home and let me tell you.. this place is legit. I have been living here for a while and this is definitely the most authentic lebanese food you will find in the area. I read some people complaining about the price and location.. here's my take: - the food is very high quality and fresh, i will pay extra $ any day for something this good. I have a sensitive stomach and I can tell right away when the food is old or low quality (ex. Fake lemon juice or too much fat), it's NEVER happened here. It is definitely worth it (& healthy btw). - Yes yes it's a ghost kitchen, I think they're kinda starting up so I get it. If you are a bit lost about where to pick up the food, just call them. Bassel was kind enough to go out of his way and meet up with me at a parking lot to give me the food. Once you find your way around there it's pretty simple. My go to order is the chicken shawarma. It is done exactly the way I like it. Bonus point if you get their rice pudding for dessert ! The baba ghanouj and hummus are very good too. ITldr; great spot, service & food go support local restaurants :) !!

Strange concept when living in a post covid environment. But ok, I'll try it.Places the order for a few shawarmas and Molokia and another dish.No one else around so ok.50min wait and why am I paying Resturant prices when there is no overhead staff and rent and workman comp? We are taking the high side of a sit down Resturant here that we have to eat in the car???Maybe I'm missing the point here..Food quality was ok, not spectacular and just ok at best

OMG...where do I start from? The food is heavenly. The meat is super tender, the spices will take you above clouds in the sky to meet the Lord and come back down to Earth. I have been to hundreds of restaurants if not thousands and I am a chef myself so my expectations are very high. The food is gourmet, delicious, clean, generous and high quality. I don't recommend this place, I beg you to try it. RUN!
