This one is ok. I like the one in Fountain Valley better.You order at the counter and then seat yourself. I usually go for their Chicken nachos. On Sundays there are many families at this location and it can get busy. But, the seating is ample and the parking lot is large. It's just the friendliness is lacking and the wait has been a hit or miss. Sometimes I've waited a long time for my food to be ready and sometimes it's come out within 15 minutes.

So I rarely head to HOTG unless I am in the mood for some pastrami, but after my 4-mile run this morning, I was HUNGRY. Instead of the regular pastrami, I took the lunch special, which was a chili dog, fries and a soda. I love my chili dogs, and I love HOTG's chili dogs, but... yeah, today's chili dog was a bit on the salty side (1-10, 10 being really salty, I'd give it a 7.5), but I still managed to wolf that thing down with the bun. And the fries were, of course, good. I will head back to HOTG for the chili dogs, but next time, hopefully they will be able to add some onions on there to simmer down the saltiness of the chili.

I don't normally give negative reviews but I figure I should make an exception in this case in the name of public service. The customer service couldn't be worse here. Got here on New Year's Day around 10:30am - ordered some breakfast burritos which took 45 minutes to come to the table! My wife asked about the order 20 minutes in and the woman behind the counter said "It's not ready yet!!" in a very non customer-friendly way. Finally after the long wait the mediocre food came with no apology or explanation for the delay. My first and last time patronizing this poorly run business. Not sure how this place stays in business with this kind of ownership and employee training - better off at Fantastic Cafe or someplace else - anywhere but here!

Customer service is atrocious. Tried to order the advertised $6.99 burger meal. I accidentally said cheeseburger. I was not given a price over the phone. When I arrived the very curt and rude cashier (I think she might be ownership) tried to charge me $47 for three meals. I questioned the price and instead of working through the issue with me, the cashier informed me that cheeseburgers were double the price. This was an honest misunderstanding but I was treated terribly. Mean while the food went to waste. This issue could have been avoided if the cashier had been upfront with the pricing over the phone. I hope more people recognize that their customer service is awful and avoid this place. Hungry, frustrated, and treated like dirt is not a good place to be.

This is a very amazing restaurant there's so many different items to try. It has the feel of a diner, but the quality of a very good restaurant. I ordered a toasted, ham and cheese sandwich with a side of french fries and a drink and pay less than $15, and were even so gracious as to make sure that I had seating. Well I waited to order from the front.. I'm coming back!

Well just gave them a third chance on the Chili Cheese Fries which were so delish before, today is the last time I will order them. The fries now always taste old and dry. I returned them once they were so bad and asked for fresh fries they replaced them. Then gave them a second try they were tolerable. This time they again tasted old and were dry. Too bad because we really enjoy the food here. The chili is great but does not mask the old dry fries.

Food was good, but we had made an online order in which we had ordered a root beer float. All we received was a root beer. Told the staff and showed them the order, but did not receive the root beer float. 7$ for a single cup of root beer, ridiculous.
