This place is an amazing gem! Grew up here in orange county and worked at both St. Joes and CHOC for 8+ years and this place is "new" to me since I moved. Came home to visit family and took my boyfriend here. Our first time and WE LOVED IT.Loved the ambiance, the sandwich selection, and beer selection! Omg! Definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Great place to go to especially if you're a packers fan. The service is friendly and weren't annoyed that I was ordering so many pickles. The place is very tamed it's not a regular bar that's dimly lit. In a way it kind of looks like a grocery store where you can buy chips, beer and sandwiches. My sandwich was delicious and the bread tasted like it was freshly baked. The pickles are exactly the same as the pickles from Disneyland, which I love. You can have a beer while you wait for your food as well. Ill be coming here more often.

Tucked in the back of a shopping center, I never knew this place was here. Glad I found it. The inside was lively and a mix of a deli and bar. My sandwich was prepared quickly and the employee was very friendly. When I first got my sandwich, I immediately thought it looked so small. Surprisingly, my small sandwich was really filling and tasted so good. I will definitely be back and try other sandwiches.

It's more like a bar with just OK food. I had The Devil and it was OK but the French roll was way too soft and hot cherry peppers would be much better than Jalapeño peppers. Yeah, I'm a bit of a sandwich snob since I'm from Philly and use to make hoagies and cheesesteaks there.

It's Sandwich Saturday and I was craving an Italian sandwich super hard! Hollingshead popped up via Yelp and what's super crazy is I knew exactly where that was. I've seen it a lot being in my hometown, but I've only gone past it. This is my first time going inside and having their food! #mindblowingOf course -- out of curiosity -- I asked what their most popular sandwiches were. It was the Great Scott, which I plan to have next time! But back to the main event -- my delicious-ness photos of the Little Italy! It... hit... the... spot!!! It was so good! I wanted extra meat and cheese, thus making it a Double. The mild peppers with the artichokes was perfection! A masterful delicatessen moment for my taste buds! I'm a huge fan of mortadella. This sandwich had the perfect flavor pairing with the zest from the artichokes, pepper, and vinegar. Texture was good as well. The French roll served well with the meats, cheese, and vegetables. Something else bomb about this place is that it's a sports heavy, especially towards Cheeseheads (Green Bay Packers). You can watch the game here and get a beer! There are so many beers to select from. They even have soda pop for those non-drinkers. Hank's is one of the best soda pop companies. Yum! Going back to the Packers -- it is definitely decked out with a lot of green and yellow. It looks cool and has personality. There are Green Bay Packers memorabilia and merch hanging from all corners of the place. It makes sense since the original founders are from Wisconsin!A very cool and unique style the restaurant has is instead of calling out orders with numbers, like most places... they will give you a card of a beverage. Your que to get your order is when they call out your drink name! How different is that!?I do move supporting traditional mom-and-pops. This one was established in 1963! That is unbelievable! Again, I'm born and raised in this area and cannot believe it was my first time today. Better late than never, I guess! Besides, they have one of the best potato chips -- Zapp's Voodoo! The first best chip ever is the purple bag called Hawaiian Kettle Style Potato Chips in Sweet Maui Onion. Parking wise -- I can see that it may become an issue. The strip mall that it's in can get packed due to the number of businesses located there. Next time, I plan to come with my boyfriend. He will get soda pop and ill have a beer while trying the Great Scott!

Stumbled upon this place during lunch time since I was in the area. It was interesting as it was a little bit of everything along with it being a deli. Almost as if you put a local dive bar, a liquor store and a deli all in one. Interesting concept but I'm sure the Green Bay Packers fan and locals must enjoy. They had a good selection of beers by the bottles as well. I had tried the Spicy Pastrami which came with liver wurst, pastrami and some other things but I had also gotten a small serving of potato salad. They have a good amount of items to choose from but that's the one I felt like I would enjoy best. The sandwich took a good while, maybe about 30 mins but I was in no rush. The sandwich was small and it was not really stacked with meat like I imagined in other delis. The potato salad and the sandwich was just simply ok I believe but I believe for beer lovers and locals that love a nice pub this place is the greatest. I'd bring my packers fan friends here but not for the food.
