FUN COFFEE SHOP!Great tasting coffee. This cute coffee shop is not far from Newport Blvd near the start of the 55 frwy. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I've been here twice and had great experiences both times. The first time I got a Coconut latte and my son got a breakfast sandwich on a biscuit, which was scrumptious. This time I ordered a Iced Oatmilk latte with homemade cinnamon brown sugar syrup. They make a few syrups in house, which I think is so cool (you can see them on the counter, the vanilla syrup has a whole vanilla bean in the bottle). The coffee was great, not bitter, oatmilk was creamy, and the syrup was yummy. They have really cute merch with their name and logo (donkey) on it. Also, the prices are reasonable! I would definitely recommend coming here rather than the big boring chain coffee stores!

Absolutely use to love this place and specifically this location as they make solid breakfast burritos. However they've made changes over the years such as the interior now is more of a restaurant vibe with wooden booths rather than a coffee shop vibe. And with that comes issues with their kitchen staff being able to handle excess in food /kitchen orders. Take in example this past weekend. I order 2 breakfast burritos via their online ordering site. It says my order will be ready by 12:45. I go to their side take our window at 12:38 and just let them know my name and that I'm here and waiting whenever it's ready. Some younger female says they have my order but it's not fully ready yet but will be ready by 1245. I say no problem at all I'll be waiting. 12:50 comes along and still no name for my order called. I ask another guy about my order he says he'll check. And then 10 minutes pass and he never comes back. I go back to the window at 1pm and ask a guy who knows me from another location what the deal is...he says oh man they messed up and never prepared your order and starts yelling at the guys in the kitchen. I'm a bit pissed at this point. Another guy yells my name and me thinking the order is finally ready at 1:15 he apologizes says they're making anything and asks me if I want a comped item (coffee or baked good) I tell him no thanks and I just want my food. Anyways at about 12:40 I finally get my food. Nearly an hour after the promised time. The good: the food wasn't cold. The bad: I had people waiting on me and the food was massively late. Also I think if your shop messes up this bad on an order then the entire order should be refunded and not offered a bakery item/coffee. That would have made things right.Side note: this has happened to me before at their other location as well where the kitchen has forgot to prep my order. I'm not sure if maybe they just struggle with my name or what but it's starting to be a trend.I should also say I like most the people who work the register my issue is more so with the kitchen staff who messes up my orders.

Hola Adios is my favorite coffee shop in the area. The staff is awesome! So friendly and helpful. The shop is clean and neat to look around. Now on to the drinks and food..The drinks are so good! They have house-made syrups (highly recommend a latte with maple syrup) and great coffee. Lately I've been drinking tea while pregnant and have enjoyed both the matcha and chai lattes. I'm obsessed with their biscuits. Warm, buttery, delicious. I order it with butter and jam or with eggs, cheese, and avocado depending on my mood. I'm here at least twice a week if not more. Highly recommended to everyone!

I'm putting 3 stars but only because I can't do half stars because I would rate it 3.5. Pretty busy spot in Costa Mesa in a residential area. They've got coffee, breakfast & even cute keepsakes inside! It's a pretty small coffee spot but there's seating inside & outside as well. We got the Pancake Tacos (Pacos) & 2 coffees. One of them had egg & sausage in it. The other one was salted caramel with apple in it. The savory taco's sausage was good but felt like it had too much egg. I think it could've used some syrup on it as well! The sweet pancake taco was definitely pretty messy haha. It was a really good seasonal pancake taco. All the flavors worked together well & it's not overly sweet. I got an iced double espresso with cinnamon brown sugar & splash of whole milk - it was definitely strong! I felt like it could've had more flavoring in it to make it a bit sweeter. We also got an iced strawberry vanilla latte and that one was definitely sweet! The strawberry flavor came through which was nice. It didn't taste too much like coffee though.Overall, it was pretty good. They have a lot of breakfast options which is great. I'd come back to try other breakfast/coffee items.

It is a nice coffee shop with lots of seating indoor and also outdoor. I ordered a iced vanilla latte and it came out pretty quick. The coffee was good, a bit sweeter than I thought it would be.

Hola Adios: A Hidden Gem in Costa MesaI recently discovered Hola Adios Coffee Shop in Costa Mesa and I'm so glad I did! This cozy spot offers a delightful blend of comfort and quality. The servers weere friendly and welcoming.I tried their hot latte with almond milk and was pleasantly surprised by its rich and creamy texture. It was the perfect balance of sweetness and coffee flavor. To accompany my drink, I ordered their biscuit sandwich, and I must say, it was a delicious choice. The biscuit was homemade and flaky, while the filling was packed with flavor. If you're looking for a cozy atmosphere and delicious food, I highly recommend checking out Hola Adios Coffee Shop. It's a hidden gem that's definitely worth a visit!

We LOVE Hola Adios! It's been a staple for us since 2020. Such a fun vibe, everyone who works there is so nice, and their burrito bowl is delish! They have lots of great drinks but the Good Morning Senorita coffee has always been my fave.

One of the cutest coffee locations I've been. I ordered a flat white and it was a warmth to my soul. The staff were adorable, especially the barista whose service was utmost and natural with her just pumping out lovely drinks and casually calling the customers "love". Simple gestures to an everyday interaction is really heartfelt. What's really cool is the merch inside while you're lined up. Almost wanted to grab a few things haha. Would definitely return to this location to try their breakfast choices.

On a side street in a building that looks suited for office tenants. There's a private parking lot in the rear, but we parked on the street. If you place your order online, go to the pick up window on the side of the building under the stairs (watch your head). Or order at the register (long line out the door on a Sunday morning around 9am). Casual atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. Fast and friendly service. The following cost around $45 including tax and small tip as of June 2024: iced matcha latte, iced latte, chocolate chip cookie, and 4 pacos (pancake tacos). You can buy the pacos in sets of two. Everything was delicious, and not a ripoff given today's pricing. They have both meat and fruit versions of pacos. If you're starving, you probably need more than two, but it was enough for me at the time. Highly recommend!

I tried their cold brew with homemade pumpkin syrup, and it was fantastic! I also love that they give you the option to order cold brews with or without ice, which is a nice touch. Their prices are fair, especially for the quality of the drinks. The only downside was that it was pretty packed when I went, and there wasn't anywhere to sit. Overall, it's a great spot with delicious coffee--I'll definitely be back!
