BEST VIETNAMESE VEGETARIAN!!!This place was highly recommend from friends so had to try it myself. The menu was quite extensive. The restaurant is small so make sure you get there early or know there might be a wait. But the wait is worth it. Parking can be difficult too due to the amount of restaurant in the shopping area.Appetizers: Fried Tofu, Spring roll and egg roll didn't disappoint. I really enjoyed who they used soft tofu and the tofu was lightly battered with a nice crisp too. Both the spring roll and egg were delicious. Main Entrees:My boyfriend and I had the Vermicelli noodles with beef and an egg roll on top. My grandparents had Vietnamese crepe and stir fry. All of them were full of flavor. Service:The staff were very attentive and nice. Kim was so nice and make sure we had everything we needed. My grandparents who are both vegan loved it. From the food to the service 10/10.Looking forward to coming back :)

Calling out to my Vegetarian-Yelper, be ready to be bedazzled by a small family own restaurant!I recently visited Hoa Sen, and I'm so glad I found this gem in Westminster! As I try to incorporate more plant-based eats, it's a bit challenge to find a spot with truly delicious and satisfying plant-based dishes, that serves great Chinese/Vietnamese flavors and styles. I found a several in Westminster that's worth a trip!! Yippee. From the moment I walked into Hue San, the atmosphere was inviting, with friendly hostesses and staff ready to serve. The menu is extensive, featuring a variety of flavorful Vietnamese dishes made entirely from plant-based ingredients. I like the old school "placemats" which are those paper Chinese astrology. :)It was hard to choose what to order, but we ordered papaya salad, crispy noodles, "fish" and the spring rolls--all four were amazing! 1- The papaya salad is a must. I think I pretty much ate this whole plate that was meant to be shared.2- Vitamins spring rolls had the perfect balance of fresh herbs and savory fried tofu.3- The fish dish was too salty but very aromatic. My friends liked it.4- The vegetables crispy noodles were "meh" and drenched with thick sauce.Overall, the portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The only downside was that parking can be a little tricky (one-way round about), as the location shares with other businesses.

Hole in the wall vegetarian spot. I ordered the Wonton Noodle with "shrimp" and the "BBQ Pork Spring Roll". Both were amazing and tasted phenomenal. The menu has a variety of items and I am definitely going back to try them all. The service was also great, all staff were nice, prompt, and genuine.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: My favorite veg Vietnamese place ever. This is now our go-to when we're craving good Vietnamese food. It just so happens they're all vegetarian! Actually, they might even be vegan--we were trying to find out if they use egg or dairy in anything and I don't think they do. Newest discovery (for us) were the grilled "beef" in vine leaves served with veggies and rice paper sheets. Not sure what kind of leaves--grape? Whatever it is, it's fantastic! Our must-orders are the fried tofu, mushroom and chicken clay pot, and the tapioca flour dumpling things. Sorry I don't know the Vietnamese names; I really need to learn those. All I know is everything is delicious and we always over-order so we can take leftovers home.

The moment we walked in at lunch time we noticed the most delicious looking food on the tables near us. After perusing the menu we decided on the Mushroom hot pot for two. The waiter set up a propane burner on our table and shortly afterwards came out with a pot filled with tofu, shrimp, veggie chicken and broth . Moments later he brought a tray filled with generous portions of noodles, vermicelli, bok choy, several types of mushrooms, and greens. We put the veggies into the hot pot and before we knew it they were tender crisp and ready to devour. Our expectations were exceeded , what a great lunch! All the dishes we saw on tables around us also looked amazing.Free parking in the lot out front, highly recommend!

$32ish before tax and tip with two mains and one app!5 stars more for the lemongrass chili paste + tofu spring rollsLemongrass chili oil/paste 10/5 Wow. Spicy, flavorful, and smells so good! Absolute favorite from recent memory from a restaurant. Even tastes better than some other brands I've purchased!!Tofu spring rolls with peanut sauce 10/5 Idk what they do to this, and it doesn't look too out of the ordinary, but it's so good. Every bite was a "wow". The crunchy eggroll wrapper was a nice touch.Seaweed black pepper fish in clay pot 3.75/5 I liked it, but didn't find it amazing. It came with a couple pieces of the tofu mixture and a peppery, sweet-salty sauce that paired well with the rice (which came at an extra charge).bun bo hue 5/5 With no beef involved, they do a good job. I found it just a smidge sweet and would have liked a little more complexity. Bae enjoyed it though! They were quite crowded on a Thursday early lunch. Each table was full and monks were at a larger table so that says something!

My favorite vietnamese vegetarian/vegan restaurant in the area! The food is delicious and decently priced and portioned. My favorite dish has to be the hotpot dish. The broth is so fragrant and sweet- you don't miss the meat taste at all. They also give a huge platter of veggies and their soft tofu has the perfect texture. I've also tried their fried tofu and mushrooms, crispy noodles (mi xao gion), and their dragonfruit leaf salad. All were delicious. The restaurant is a bit small and tight and the plaza a little out of date. But definitely come for the food. Service was good too. Food: 5/5Service: 4.5/5

I'm not vegetarian and have little to no experience with vegetarian food. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised with the taste of the food. My favorite was the mi xao mem which was the most flavorful of all the dishes I tried. My vegetarian friend said all the dishes were great!

I ordered the *goi ngo sen*, *banh bot loc*, and *goi cuon bo bia*. The *goi cuon bo bia* was good, especially with the peanut sauce. The *banh bot loc* was also tasty, but the filling was inconsistent--some had a lot, while others had very little. The biggest letdown was the *goi ngo sen*. The first time we had it, it was amazing, but this time, they replaced the lotus root with daikon without telling us. Since it's called "lotus root salad," this completely threw off the dish. The daikon had a strong bitter taste in every bite, which ruined the balance. Their fake shrimp also wasn't great--it tasted like fake lobster. The vegan *nuoc mam* is always good, but overall, this visit was disappointing. I just wish they had let us know about the missing lotus root.
