Heemo Sushi

This has to be one of my favorite places in Orange County for sushi! I went recently with a good friend of mine who loves going there. I ordered a mango and salmon roll that was sooo good. The rolls are THICK. They're not greedy with their ingredients. I was satisfied with one roll, haha. But it tasted so good. I had a bowl of miso which was good, nothing crazy but it's miso. The place itself has easy parking, lots of seating and the waiters were kind as well as attentive. I went around 4pm and it was very chill, we got seated right away. They offer more than just sushi / sashimi! There are bento boxes and noodle dishes. Plus they have lunch specials. I'll for sure be back again.

Ambiance was like that of a traditional American-sushi restaurant, with everything from the FULLY loaded menus and the candy sushi you've learned to love.Service was quick, and they got our rolls out fast. To be honest with you, the quality of fish was pretty good for the price point, and if you're looking for a quick sushi fix, Heemo would be a great place to stop by :)

Been to Heemo multiple times and it's always a funny story every visit. The food is very filling and delicious no matter what you choose; I was disheartened to learn they changed some things with the crispy rice and spicy tuna, but overall my meals have been pretty worth it. I'm especially attached to the Hawaiian Roll, Rainbow Roll, and Tiger Rolls. Their salmon, albacore, and tuna tasted relatively fresh, but the main star is their sauces and proportion sizes.Service is relatively fast! I've always lucked out with great servers even on busiest days. Would recommend going at night on a weekday since it's ironically less busy. It's always fun when there's a party who's celebrating someone's birthday, and the lights aren't as distracting as you'd think!

I am so amazed with this food, I've never been so satisfied with sushi ! We were having a late night sushi craving they were already doing last call but still took us in & the service was amazing! Ambiance is also nice. We ordered the 911 & the monster & the mystery ! My favorite was the Mystery, I've never had sushi that had mango! Highly recommend coming here ! The sushi tasted so fresh and the portions are very generous

Another delicious lunch at Heemo Sushi! We love to stop in when we find ourselves in Orange. The restaurant is large with plenty of seating, the staff is super friendly and attentive, and the food is super fresh. Highly recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner, great for date nights, girls nights, parties, or work lunches.

Our friends decided to have a FriendMas event with catering board theme. We decided to go for the Sushi board since everything else our friends were bringing seems a tad boring. Let me tell you the sushi board was such a huge hit! We reached out to Heemo Sushi and a sweet rep name Cakie or something "sorry", she helped us out with our sushi board. She was very knowledgeable and very informative. My wife and I were so impressed with the sushi Chef and service here that we knew we had to give this place a great rating with our wonderful experience. We're having another Xmas party next week and we're definitely doing this beautiful sushi board again!!!

Pretty good sushi in the area. I thought they were still offering all you can eat bc they did it during pandemic...but now they are a la carte...We ordered some rolls and sushi to share and the rolls are good size and the fish on the sushi is fresh and the rice is a nice size (not too big or small). Service was good and attentive.

Everyone here is so nice - literally every single person! So helpful with recommendations, customizing rolls, and very friendly! The fish here is always fresh & the portions are well priced. We love the carpaccio sauce & ponzu yuzu sauce - makes all of the rolls taste even better!! We love coming here often! The vibe here is chill - good music and happy people.

I was not expecting a late night spicy tuna rollto be spectacular BUT HOLY SHIT WAS IWRONG. Lots of sushi chefs working and it wasn't even that busy. So i'm guessing that means they are on top of every single detail. Aromas were so so fresh when I opened the box. This roll was so stuffed with creamy spicy melt in your mouth tuna and the rice was still so fresh at 9:30 pm. The way the heat creeps up you, had me sweatin and sniffling, but it does not overpower the fresh tuna/rice. And they loaded me with ginger. Normally restaurants are stingy with condiments but they gave me SO much extra. I love it because it cuts the spice after the wasabi hits lol. SUCH FRESH FLAVORS FROM A SIMPLE ROLL. I wanna order more already. Also there are little polaroids up everywhere as decoration. Which honestly makes me feel so at home. Good vibes. Great food. Friendly Staff. 11/10 do not pass this spot up.
