Happy Lemon

Pros:- teas are really good, even the ones that seem a little odd (i.e. not classic)- try the waffle... hot and fresh. it really smells fantasticCons:- it is a mall shop serviced by kids. don't expect white glove service, but they are clean an polite

The drink I got (passionfruit mango green tea) was pretty good at half sweetness, but you have to drink it right away or else it starts to settle and the ice dilutes the flavor, especially in this heat. There wasn't that much of a line nor wait, but the food court itself was pretty packed. I wish they had more locations because I'm in love with passionfruit seeds and noticed they have it listed in their toppings options for $1.

Super deliciousness the price is affordable as well. I do enjoy this place There milk tea is good

I got the Boba milk yea with puff cream, it was sooo good! I love the puff cream it just melts in my mouth. But next time I think I should get half sugar. But over all it was great!!!

Surprisingly, their tea/drink selection at this location was limited compared to other Happy Lemon's I visited in the past. I ordered the green tea with salted cheese foam, but after I placed my order, they said they didn't have any more so I would have to substitute it with something else. The line wasn't too busy, but there wasn't a good way to see the menu until you reach the front, as their signage only shows their top 10 drinks.

Fresh brewed tea with a creamy foam top - Happy lemon does it best! The service was good and so were my drinks! Only thing is the inconsistency's in the amount of cream top and ice from location to location the ratio differs every time and sometimes the tea color is darker (as if it's been sitting or is the bottom of the roast color) In these situations I notice a subtle difference in the brew - a bit more of a bitter aftertaste still good but it does vary.

My daughter became addicted to Happy Lemon in Hawaii. She keeps talking about the black tea with salted cheese and how much she misses it. I found the Newport Beach location on Yelp, then planned out a day in the area.Needless to say, she was beyond excited when we walked into Fashion Island Mall to find Happy Lemon in a corner of the food court next to Barnes & Noble. There was only one staff member working who was super nice. Service was a bit slow since he was handling the register and making all the drinks and waffles. He missed scanning my daughter's rewards account before the transaction, so she did not get credit for our purchases. He was apologetic but couldn't do anything about it.We ordered the Black Tea (A2), Mango Juice (S3), Strawberry Shake (F5) with Boba and Original Bubble Waffles (J1) with Puff Cream. The drinks are not overly sweet and pair well with the salted cheese. The bubble waffle is made fresh. It's so crisp, light and perfect with the puff cream.Overall a great experience, especially with a very, very happy daughter. :)

This is my go-to when I am at Fashion Island because I always thought Happy Lemon is a reliable tea choice. For the most part, it is. I usually get the A1 Green Tea w Salted Cheese and it's delicious. The salted cheese is my favorite topping. But on my last visit I tried the A2 Black Tea w Salted Cheese and it was not good at all. It was watery and tasted odd. Maybe I am not used to the flavor combo. I realized that not all teas are good. Sad day.

I got the boba bubble waffle. It was so good! It was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I was so happy to find happy lemon in Newport Beach. The boba drinks were delicious. We waited about 30 mins or so for our waffle. It was definitely worth the wait. We had it with taro puff as well. I would definitely come back here again!

Happy lemon is located in the fashion Island food court. It's nice and clean and great service. I ordered the mango Matcha smoothie with Boba for the first time and it was delicious. I've tried this place a few times and it's very good.
