Handel's Homemade Ice Cream

Line was long but moved quickly. The workers move fast and take your order and bring it right away. The scoops are HUGE!!! A medium is shareable for sure. We had to ask for a cup to move some of the icecream there. Small is a perfect size. Yummy icecream and good vibes.

HOW DID I FORGET HER NAME!?The past two times I've been here, I've been helped by the same lady but my postpartum brain can't remember her name after getting it last time. SHE'S SO NICE. She's so patient. This past trip, I wanted to try a Hurricane since she told me it's like a McFlurry or Blizzard. I'd never had one before so I decided to get one this time... but there are so many options!! I asked her what her favorite is and after she told me, I'd told her I'd take that in a large since my husband and I were planning to share. IT'S SO GOOD. I can't even tell you what it is. A large lasted us two days for two adults!

Wow. I can't believe I'm waking up this morning having to leave this review because I feel personally attacked by the owners. They ran a Instagram promotion that if Dodgers win the World Series, they'll give out free ice cream after the game and all day the next day. Ever since game 4, family and friends and I would chant "we want free handles ice cream!" Getting excited for it. Last night at the 8th inning I started driving out because I just knew Dodgers were going to win. I'm out of town today so i so I made sure to go after the game to get my ice cream knowing I couldn't make it the next day. I show up at 8:30 and the moment Dodgers won I went to open the door and the kids inside said they closing early. The link on their Instagram links to their website with the hours closing at 10pm. I posted on my Instagram that i was upset for coming out there and to warn others to not make the drive and that the post was misleading. The location isn't easy either being on PCH, had to find parking and walk down Main Street. From the moment they won to closing time is 1 hr 15 mins. plenty of time to drive out. They started gaslighting me in my DMs saying i was spewing hate and lies and saying that they don't believe they were misleading. Asking me to delete my posts when it's just posts of me telling people to not drive out its closed early. I drove all the way out there and you're saying I wasn't mislead? Never did I say don't support the business etc.They go on and delete my comments on their posts saying notifying others don't go out there because it's closed early. There were others who experienced it too but they kept telling them they close at 9pm?? So I was posting on my close friends the details of my experience instead of blasting them publicly but nowwww they really trying to cover up their mistakes!They watched my stories and tried to make me feel like IM LYING. They edited their post to only honor the free ice cream only the next day so now looks like I came out at wrong time but the other Handels location honored the promo and gave out ice cream after the game -_- Not only did they edit the post, delete my comment but had the audacity to post that they change their hours 3 weeks ago to make it look like I had MY hours wrong. Luckily I have everything on my close friends (because I wasn't trying to blast them) but now it has come to this because of the unprofessional treatment. I have others wanting to leave a bad review too for not honoring but I decided to stop it. I grew up with Handels my whole life. I won't support this business ever again.

Dropped by here in the evening after spending some time on the beach. We decided to try it because the lines were huge and that's usually an indicator something is pretty good. The line moved very quickly and the server was super friendly. We got 3 of the 4 samplers so we could try everything. The scoops are rather large so this was way too much ice cream for the 3 of us lol. There are soooo many flavors that its really hard to choose. I decided to get Graham Central Station based on other reviews and it was definitely my favorite. Even beating Strawberry Cheesecake which is usually my go-to. It was just so rich and amazing. They all tasted good though.

Handel Ice cream is my go to spot whenever I am Hanging out in HB and craving for ice cream. The ice cream is delicious. This time around I ended up getting the blue monster and strawberry ice cream in a waffle Oreo cup. The portion/scoop here is huge, they don't skip on the scoop either. If you are in HB PCH, definitely come by to Handels for some bomb ice cream

I really like Handels but I have to leave this review. The customer service was terrible and the staff seemed so disgruntled. I am not sure what is happening at this location, but it is not like this at the Pasadena, Glendora, or Upland locations. It's only not a 1 because I gotta have that Blue Monster Ice Cream. If I'm in Huntington Beach, I'll skip my Handels Ice Cream, so sad.

Cones come in 3 sizes 3, 4 and 5 scoops for the small, medium and large respectively. I've only been twice but their ice cream is up there cold stone.Not much to say. Very tasty. We got the cinnamon roll one today. Bomb. We got the strawberry cheesecake one before too, also bomb. Overall - 9/10

favorite ice cream place in California. You can't beat how much ice cream you get for the price. If you don't know what flavor to get, get the 4 sampler, you can try any 4 flavors for the cost of a small. I love the ORANGE DREAM! Tastes like orange creamsicle. Plus the people working are always so respectful and friendly.

This ice cream is so good! The Graham Central Station ice cream was the star, and I liked the crunch bits in it. The Chocoholic Chunk was also good. The only problem is that it melted too fast for me!

Didn't get a chance to try the ice cream because they weren't able to accommodate a nut allergy.
