Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream

My friends and I stopped by here to satisfy our post-dinner sweet tooth. It was a chilly Saturday winter evening, but there was still a line out the door. They offer a wide variety of flavors, and I love that you can sample them before committing.We opted for the 4-scoop sampler, choosing Taro, Black Cherry, Mud Pie, and Cheesecake with Oreos. We also got a couple of cones and a frozen banana on the side. The ice cream was slightly on the sweet side, but still enjoyable. The Mud Pie flavor stood out--it was rich, with a bold coffee flavor.The prices are reasonable, and the scoop sizes are generous. It's easy to see why there's always a line here. This spot is definitely worth checking out!

This location of Handel's is still my favorite among the OC locations. The scoop sizes are consistent, the workers are friendly, and the prices are fair. Their ice cream is so good - perfectly creamy and deliciously flavored! They have some limited flavors here and there, but I always go back to my usual - Coffee Chocolate Chip, Ooo Dough (formerly Oree Dough), and Black Cherry.One thing to note about the Black Cherry is that there are hardly any black cherries. There are only one to two pieces of black cherry in a single scoop when I used to find much more. It's a bummer and I don't know if it's only this location, but I have noticed a major decline in the amount of black cherries in the Black Cherry ice cream flavor.

Easy to order, large space with nice outdoor patio seating, friendly staff, and delicious ice cream! They have a wide variety of flavors. We got the taro which was incredible - taste and texture! The ice cream is almost gummy/gooey with how it moves so easily with fluff and fullness. Also got the chocolate vegan ice cream which had a very rich flavor and was more decadent, almost like a fudge or truffle. I've heard there can be a line out the door, but we came when it was pretty slow around 630pm on Friday night.

Omg! Yum yum plus We decided on a movie last night with our kids visiting from Illinois but one thing was missing. Handel's ice cream. We ordered on Doordash and my son had the 4 scoop item, my wife had pistachio scoops, my daughter had the brownie dough scoops and I had the vanilla with M&M's.Wow, the ice cream was delicious and th3 delivery service fantastic. Of course the ambiance was our living room. Spectacular! Highly recommended.

This location has very friendly employees. Victoria was very friendly and helped us with our choices. Since I'm diabetic, I tried the sugar free pistachio. It was good, but not great. I wish there were kid size scoops available. A small cup is two scoops! Their regular ice cream is delicious, but that's a lot of ice cream!

I'm writing this review while eating my ice cream this is so delicious The customer service here is defined in the ice cream is so creamy and it's so amazing. I just want it in my body so bad five stars and the ambience like the vibes are amazing. Super calm but also delicious and creamy I do recommend this reminds me of when I was younger when I would go to visit my family on the other side of the country and we would have these hot summer nights and we would go to these ice cream shops and try all the ice cream. It was the life. Handles really hits home for me and if you love ice cream it'll hit home for you too as they say ice cream doesn't just feed the body. It feeds the soul.

First time trying Handel's and I completely get the hype! There are so many flavors that it's kind of overwhelming to choose. I went with Banana Cream Pie which tasted just like the real thing in ice cream form! My husband loved his rocky road. Love the generous scoops! There are some tables outside where you can enjoy your ice cream. I'll be back to try more flavors!

Had an icecream craving that I NEEEEDED to fulfill, so I ended up impulsively DoorDashing a pint. Can't comment on the service and interior much for that reason. I got the Cheesecake made with Oreo flavor and it was soooooo good. Cheesecake flavored icecream plus bits of Oreo AND cheesecake bites?! Yes pls! They had other flavors that sounded really good, so I'll probably come back to try them :)

I love the variety of flavors they have, you can try four of them with the sampler box. My favorites are the orange dreamsicle and mango sorbet.

Excellent Taro/Ube ice cream! Customer service was very good. Definitely recommend! Looking forward to trying other flavors. 12*I,
