Hanano Ramen - Orange

I adore this place. Delicious sushi and the ramen hits the spot, especially on a cold night! We got the volcano roll and the build your own ramen. Both were so good! Also, I got the Sauvignon Blanc and it was quite unlike any other I've had - it has a unique sweet scent and a flavor note resembling a juicy pear. Try this place if you're in the mood for a cozy meal and great service.

Finally tried the other Ramen noodle joint at the Circle! I feel bad because I always told myself to try this place. Better late than never! Firstly -- I love the vibe. The modern Japanese and nautical look with the rope design in the lighting. They have the BEST disposable chopsticks! Sooooo pretty with the Chinese blue and white porcelain design. We ordered the XLB soup dumplings. The dipping sauce for it was yummers! The dough was a little thick but they still hot the spot. Ramen wise -- I ordered the Tonkotsu. I am a huge lover of natural flavors so the creamy pork soup is always a good choice. I, of course, had to get it with pork belly. For the sides -- I was able to order four. So I got the bean sprouts, woodear mushroom, bamboo shoots, and green onion for color and as an aromatic. I went on a weekday night. The service was a tad off unfortunately. The server was MIA half the time. But hey... patience is a virtue. I'm the end, I was okay with everything about this place. Parking can be hard to find, but due to the weekday evening -- the parking lot directly behind the restaurant was available. Otherwise about a block away is a parking garage.

Decent ramen broth, but overall a pretty disappointing experience.We chose this restaurant on a whim, after seeing what options were around the area. Upon walking in, the waitress was taking an order of another table and motioned for us to sit down. There was no sort of ambiance in the restaurant, as the chairs and tables were made of some sort of steel/metal, and was very uncomfortable to sit at during our meal.While we were quite hungry and originally wanted to try a number of things, based on our initial impression of the restaurant, we decided to hold off on ordering items outside their specialty (ramen). Upon arrival, the ramen was disappointing (which we kind of expected at that point). The Chashu itself just didn't have the buttery, melt in your mouth taste and feel that you expect from ramen. Further, the portion sizes were much smaller than any other ramen place I have tried at this price point ($14-20). The only saving grace, like mentioned above, was that the broth was decent in flavor. Overall, lackluster food and a depressing environment.

Best ramen in Orange thus far! Flavorful broth, brimming with fresh ingredients, and just the right heat! The menu also has other dishes to choose from and the rice bowls are just yummy! The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated and comfortable. Service was very pleasant. Will definitely come back when in the area again!

Came here for lunch a couple weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised because I had never heard of this place. Just had a regular bowl of the build, your own Ramen and it was really good! This is a nice cozy little restaurant if you want to have a nice quiet lunch. The service was great and the food was good. Nothing more nothing less just a nice quiet lunch. I definitely suggest if you're in the area to give the Spot a try. The Wramon hair is quite excellent!

Service was great very helpful and attentive! The food is customizable and tasty. Comfortable environment to chat with friends or a date. Overall a great experience.

The green kukicha tea was delicious and went down smooth! Loved it for the flavor and the chicken ramen went down smooth. Service was great, full of recommendations and the ambiance was warm and relaxing. Definitely will come back again!
