Stopped in just before closing tonight to get a sweet treat. We were nervous that because we were coming in so close to closing that the workers would seem annoyed. Thankfully, that wasn't the case. I'd like to give praise to KJ for being so kind and letting us sample all the flavors we wanted. He made good suggestions and was very friendly. We would come back to this location just because of the service we had from him. Management, if you're reading this, please give credit where it is due. Ice cream wise- I loved the Belgian chocolate. My husband really enjoyed the cookie dough as well. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the flavors. So good!

I've been coming here for years and the service can be a hit or a miss dependjng on who's working. The ice cream is delicious nonetheless. This review is for the girl who makes the cakes. Amazing service from Thu! I ordered a cake and she called me to confirm my order. She was very sweet ans patient despite how difficult and specific I was being with the cake decorations and the writing. The cake she made came out absolutely perfect and my family loved it. We love the ice cream here! Some employees need to be retrained on customer service for other customers in the store but overall I had a great experience with Thu ordering a cake!

I was visiting the spectrum with family. Everyone wanted ice cream after dinner so we went for Häagen-Dazs. I opted for frozen yogurt which was a very similar flavor and experience to yogurtland. Everyone knows the ice cream is great. Staff was friendly, attentive, and fast. The price is a bit steep at $60 for a group of 9, mostly getting the equivalent of a single scoop ice cream cone... it's good just be prepared to pay.

Came here as part of OC restaurant week and enjoyed what I got! This time, I got the Oreo sundae with a scoop of Belgium chocolate, rocky road, and mint chip, and I have to say, this ice cream is very rich!If you are a huge fan of chocolate, the Belgium chocolate is made for you. It was velvety and super decadent! The rocky road was not as rich and added a delightful crunch and sweetness from the nuts and marshmallows. The mint chip was light, balancing out the richness of the other two flavors.The Oreo sundae came with a bunch of Oreo cookies and hot fudge. It added a satisfying crunch with every ice cream bite. The portion size for the sundae was generous, and I shared it with one other person, so I definitely got some value out of this!Overall, this shop is a must-try for any ice cream lover who's a fan of the ice cream you can find in stores! The workers were all super nice as well, so the experience was great!

Ice cream nurtures the soul, as they say. I just wanted some ice cream. And so, I stopped by this Hagen Daz ice cream shop at the Irvine Spectrum center in Irvine, CA.I wanted to celebrate finishing marathon/ultra #118 that happened the day before in central Pennsylvania before flying to Irvine the next morning literally. Ice cream seemed to be the best thing ever, when I was eating it, of course. And so, I arrived at the Irvine Spectrum at about 1:00pm after family picked me up at the John Wayne airport and headed here to this Hagen Daz location next to the Ferris wheel. There wasn't much of a line there, so I just scooted into the queue and thought about what I wanted. Since it's Hagen Daz, you know you're getting something great and gourmet ice cream seemed to be the order of the day. The service here was friendly and staffed with high school or college kids. My experience here took about 10 minutes from start to finish. I ended up with a double scooped chocolate in a cup. The prices were decently enough, priced around $10 or so, which is pretty amazing for California. With that said, the chocolate ice cream was heavenly and delicious. Wish I asked if they sold take home pints or not, so I could have had more but at a value. While I know Hagen Daz is a national ice cream chain, it's always great to have them at your local mall, or in my case, while on vacation. Definitely hit the spot after running 26.2 miles in Pennsylvania and then flying to California to see family the next day. The overall experience here at this Hagen Daz ice cream shop in Irvine California was good and positive. It was great to have ice cream after a big accomplishment, such as completing a marathon. The ice cream parlor was definitely small but not large. It was standing room only but had enough room for a couple of tables inside the shop for people to sit down and enjoy their purchases. I ended up taking my ice cream outside and enjoyed watching people ride the Ferris wheel. Enjoying my vacation in Irvine before I had to head home the next day. For the most part though, my experience here at this ice cream shop in the middle of the Irvine Spectrum center was fairly well and short, since I just wanted one thing and it took about 10 ish minutes. While the ice cream is quite decadant and delicious, it didn't taste as homemad-y as alot of other places tend to be. Still, fresh and delicious ice cream here in Southern California where you want it to be. And so, if you are in the area and want your daily fix, consider coming to Hagen Daz ice cream parlor. I myself prefer the regular old fashion chocolate, as it was meant to be. Nothing fancy. Just simple chocolate for me. It was delicious and helped me remember what I did in Pennsylvania the previous day prior to arrival in Irvine. Definitely worth it. They accept major credit cards, as well as cash. There's plenty of ground level parking here around the Spectrum, but if you prefer it, you can park in the parking structure nearby, that will guarantee shade for your vehicle. I arrived here with family, so I can't say I took public transportation. But if you decide to come here via public transportation, consider the route(s) you need to come to the area. Best bet would be to come here early enough to secure a spot before the crowds come and parking becomes an absolute premium. And so, if you need that ice cream fix and are at the Irvine Spectrum, consider coming here to get it since it's very conveient and worth it. Most definitely. I don't think there was any noticible air conditioning in the ice cream parlor, although it wasn't really hot out while i was there.4.0 stars for the overall experience. 4.5 stars for the ice cream and the ambiance. 3.0 stars for the prices. 4.0 stars for the service.Support local!B

Horrible customer service oh my god. Visited the location and ordered a Hot Chocolate and 1 cup of the coffee ice cream. Total came out to 11$ which is quite steep for the amount they give you. "Large" of the hot chocolate is in my opinion a small. The scoop for the ice cream is very small as well. On top of that the poor customer service. I asked for an alternative of the milk on the hot chocolate and they said they couldn't do it even thought it says it on the menu. I let it go after that because maybe it would be good minus the customer service. However when I was given the scolding hot drink they didn't even give me a lid or let me know they were out of lids, they just handed me the drink and walked away without saying anything. After trying the hot chocolate it just tasted like foamy milk. The ice cream was barely scooped into the cup. The workers look so unapproachable. I'm not the type to call out bad customer service but my god please do better. Will be doing a chargeback on this purchase. Definitely won't return.

I ordered a milkshake ... and it tasted bad.. old milk ... I just tossed it out. No wonder why their rating is so low!! The kid who works there, was just a Kid. Amateur, lack of experience. Come on haagen dazs. I think you can do better

I liked the milkshakes and smoothies this store offers, but they are a little expensive of the price of $9.90. It has the creamy ice cream feel to it. The staff there is also pretty nice and the things we order would come to us at a pretty fast rate. The ice cream there are nicely made as well. The store itself is pretty clean and barely has anyone there to form a line.
