I'm sorry but this was the worst Italian food I have ever had. The sauces were watery and flavorless. The salads were something out of the 50's and the bread is not anything special. The people were nice and the prices OK but unless you have never had Italian food, I would avoid this place.

Quiet Italian restaurant located in a shopping strip.Casual ambience with good service. Pastas looked presentable, sauces were done pretty well and they didn't skimp on the protein. My risotto was a little watery but flavor was good. Complimentary focaccia was also pretty good, and they have olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Prices are $$ but for a good portion.

Have been wanting to try this place for years, but never went. It always looked busy when we drove by but just never stopped. Well... we finally gave it try. It was okay. Nothing spectacular. Very small dinning room, no wonder it always looks busy. There is like 12-15 tables inside. Got in at 5:30, was seated right away with a party of 4. About 30 minutes later, the place got packed and a wait started. Service was poor to say the least. Other tables were greeted and served before us even though they were seated 20+ minutes after. They never came to refill our water. Asked 3 times and waited 30 minutes before they refilled it. Food took over an hour to come out. Never received extra salad dressing even though we asked 3 times. After waiting for an unreasonable amount of time for food, we asked for extra bread and they seemed like we asked for the world. Tables around us got extra bread, but again we had to ask more than once to receive it. What should have been an hour experience seemed like a hostage situation and we were there over 2 hours waiting... waiting... and waiting. Food: average. Caesar salad dressing had an unusual taste (not Caesar but mixed with something almost sweet). Chicken soup was all veggie with 3 tiny pieces of chicken. Ravioli was a small portion and not fully cooked. Meat sauce was not good. Too many veggies to be meat sauce. Cheese chicken pasta was good, but not a lot of chicken. Overall, just average. There are many Italian choices that have better offerings. Not sure if it was an off night or they were short staffed, but service was terrible. Will not be back.

Wonderful dinner and great service! It's been a while since we visited and we're so glad we did. The warm tasty focaccia bread with olive oil and vinegar was amazing. The lentil soup and Caesar salad starters were both fresh and delicious. The beef ravioli with meat sauce was very good. The ribeye special was tasty and tender. The accompanying sides of angel hair pasta with shrimp and the mixed veggies were very flavorful. Our last entree was baked ziti with eggplant, mushrooms, and meatballs in a yummy red sauce. A perfect bottle of Armeli Chianti Classico rounded out our memorable meal!We can't wait to return to try more entrees!

Got a Linguine Frutto del Mare here the other night. Noodles tasted like what I buy from the store, the seafood was good though. The shrimp was on the fresher side. Sauce was on the plain side. I don't know, unfortunately doesn't taste that much different from what I can whip up in 15 minutes at home. Mom and Pop feel environment. Service was good, nice and friendly and welcoming.

Good Italian food for the price. We live super close to their location and often get their takeout. I think their portions are good and the quality is good. You can tell that their food is fresh. I like the chicken Parmesan and the meatballs.

I believe this was the 2nd time that we tried Gusto D'Oro. It's been so long that we may have forgotten our semi-disappointment from our first visit. Don't get me wrong the food is fine but its more 'old school', something more like what you would find at a Bucca Di Beppo or long-standing Italian restaurant chain. It is not modern in recipes or decor. For example, you won't find handmade pasta or progressive flavor twists or enhancements. We ordered the calamari, clam linguini, and cioppino. The calamari was nothing remarkable, and the clam linguini tasted very simple (very homemade tasting- like a stick of butter and lots of garlic and salt). The cioppino was pretty average but I would say is the best out of the three items. But again, the flavor is very home-made tasting (basic, sort of like what I would be making at home- and I am not a good cook). I also found the slow service disappointing and the strange spacing of the tables awkward. I have a feeling that this place has a loyal older crowd following that really like the more traditional style of Italian food, but it wasn't something that would crave. I found that the prices were pretty high for what you get ($40+ a person with no alcohol). It didn't feel like fine dining from the decor or the service, nor taste for the price.

I absolutely love this place. It's a hidden gem (possibly family owned) with good food. My favorite dish is the carbonara pasta and the truffle shrimp linguine. My family has been coming here for a couple of years and the food is always consistent and delicious. They give complimentary bread and are always willing to give you more. Your entree also comes with a salad or soup which I love. I leave here stuffed and happy every single time. They usually have one or two waiters and sometimes during dinner it can get busy for the staff they have. I really don't mind because they are usually nice and get you what you need. It's small inside and nothing fancy but usually the best food comes from those types of places. This place needs more credit and I'll continue to come here to support.

Dinner Al fresco is always a good thing!I enjoyed my dinner seated at a table with a white linen cloth in a semi private patio. There was even some upbeat Italian music playing. Not too loud or obnoxious! Enjoyable. This was a good place to spend some alone time and enjoy a nice dinner. The side Cesar salad was fresh, crisp and delicious! The dressing was one of the best I've tasted. The lemon cake was incredible! I took a gamble because the sever was not able to describe it to me nor was it in the menu. He had me at "lemon"! It was definitely a good gamble! I was also eager to try the Lobster Ravioli! I think I will try something else next time. I do recommend this place! Give it a try! A hidden gem! I met the owner, Esmerelda while planning an event and she had been great to work with!I'm excited for the event next weekend and was so pleased to discover that two of our guests will be able to enjoy the food as well since they offer a nice section on their Vegan Menu!!
