Seriously, always on a gastronomic expedition. I got a case of the sniffles & am on the hunt for this amazing lemon ginger jelly tea elixir. Cuz recommended trying this place as the other stores we went to had no luck. This store had a lot of workers keeping everything stocked. Their meat and fish department had a lot of variety fresh & frozen. For the most part the meat and fish products looked fresh with no undesirable odors. Like at all. The fruit and vegetable section was right next to the fresh fish area. I could smell the fragrant odors of different types of basil with ease. I believe this is mostly a Vietnamese product store. They had many different Asian products.

Green Farm Market is Interesting market specializing in Asian products from different countries and areas of that huge continent.Very good selection of fruits and veggies plus a world selection of dry fruits and spices , basically it caters to a diversified shoppers with discounts on produce and seafood sections.I used to come here to buy grocery because the store is convenient and things are easy to find. The check out is quick and the prices are low and competitive. Bad service, It is not very customer helpful. When you walk in you are hit by a pretty strong smell, a mix of the fish market, stinky bread fruit and spices. The parking is some times a little crowded, but most of the time you can find a spot not far away from the store .

First time coming here on a Sunday afternoon since we wanted to try somewhere new because Sunrise Market veggies were actually really expensive.Parking was spacious. It was a little bit dirtier than expected as some of the freezers were a little janky with frost burn and all of the on sale vegetables were old (but it makes sense)We found all of the things we needed except they didn't have a grater. If im in the area I wouldn't mind coming back here, definitely cheaper than the other place next to the Tesla Chargers.

Could be worse. We usually only stop by this supermarket if it's on our way home. They have a decent selection of produce, fish and meat though. Everyone there is nice and works very efficiently.Their aisle for snacks could definitely use some improvement. I never see my regular go-to's and the prices are kind of high. The place isn't the cleanest and the parking is also kind of small. Not the worst, but also not the best.

The produce is flavorful and reasonably priced. Not watered down like big chain stores. The chicken is flavorful and actually bleeds when you cook it. (That's good thing) That's the main reason I go to this store.

This isn't a bad Vietnamese market. It's not great but it's got some odd things like frozen rabbit meat, which actually turned out to be pretty freezer burned. But the fruit here can be pretty cheap.

Green Farm Market is my 'Goldilocks' market for Asian or Vietnamese grocery. It is not too large, not too small, carries fresh fruits and vegetables at reasonable prices compared to similar markets in town. It is located on its own retail location without other shops or other small retail establishments, so the parking lot is generally clean and free of solicitors or vagrants. The market can get a little busy on weekends but you can easily find a parking space. Tip: The market offers fish scaling, cleaning, and frying services. Just note that taking that fried fish home in your car will make the interior foul-smelling for at least a week.

This message is for Green Farm Market's management. I can't find another place to post it , so I decided to post it here. I'd like to report an incident at the store in Fountain Valley corner of Magnolia at Edinger. It is a small incident nevertheless the management might be interested to know how their employee is doing. This morning while my wife was shopping inside I went to the back of the store to get some vegetable for my chickens out of the trash bin. I did ask the guy who was operating the trash compressor next to it for permission to get a couple of bags of vegetable from the trash bin. After getting some vegetable out from the trash bin, I turned around and there is a Vietnamese guy with a southern accent acting very aggressively towards me to a point his face was almost right next to mine. I explained to him what I was doing with the permission of the trash compressor operator who was still there. Clearly I did absolutely nothing wrong here. He made it clear to me that he is the only one in charge and no one else. While there are lots of ways to talk in a civilize manner, but he chose to talk like an uneducated gangster. This guy seriously needs some basic education. I wonder if he even went through first grade. I gave this "review" one star in the hope to catch the attention of the management. But this by all means not a review of the store.

I've shopped here for 20 yrs ago (before it was Green Farm). It's close/convenient, has a good selection, and the price is decent. Sunrise meat is too expensive, but sometimes I have to go there to get the meat prepped how I want it. I have a love hate relationship with the butchers here as I witness some to be sarcastic to the customers. There are a couple of really nice ones, but I don't want to single them out to not be bothered by the others. I've learned to know which butchers are more willing to accommodate but still figuring out which days they work. Sometimes the newer nice ones get taught to be just as difficult, ie they won't cut quarter/roaster legs or will only cut them into 4ths where they leave the drumstick part as one whole piece rather then cut it in half. I can't chop the drumstick bone at home. At least cut partly though the drumstick bone so I can chop through the rest at home. Who makes curry with a long drumstick? There's one guy I go to who cuts the drumstick in half without being asked which I appreciate as that's common sense if I'm going to ask for the roasters to be cut. There is a super nice guy who is willing to cut the shoulder meat into thinner slices to make grilled meat on a stick so it's not so chewy. Without fail, I know when that dish won't taste so good based on how thick it was cut. If I'm willing to pay more for sliced meat then at least don't slice it so thick. Also their glass meat display is a magnifier that makes the beef tail bone look bigger and meatier than it is...disappointed each time I get what I picked out.
