Service: very friendly with a smile. What easily separates a great Chinese food take-out joint from a bad one (see my scathing review from a few years ago) is giving out samples. Covid is far enough behind us to stop using that as an excuse for stinginess. Giving out a sample to make sure the customer will like the dish before they buy it will save resources, time, energy and allow return customers (believe me, you piss-off & fight with a customer they will not only not return, but will go out of their way to tell everyone they know to avoid your establishment like a plague rat). The owner is a genuinely nice guy who came up to my table to give me his opinion who has the best BBQ pork (sorry, won't mention it here, as this review is to prop up their restaurant, not another's... If you are curious about his opinion, come in, order some food THEN ask! In hindsight I did witness one of the small negatives to handing out free samples: 2 kids come in and the older one asks for a sample (I already knew where this was going), only to hand it to what I assume was his younger brother. The younger kid took a bite, then they both walked out. I knew they had zero intentions on buying anything. Oh well, it happens.Onto the chow:Had ac2-item combo, half rice & half noodles. The noodles were plain. Sure, they could've used a little sprucing up, possibly onions/green onions and/or Chinese cabbage (but please, owner sir, no bean sprouts... they have no real flavor and are just added for a strange soft-crunch texture with the soft noodle. The good news about the noodles though is they absorbed the gravy that came with one of the main dishes... Onto the main dishes! Got orange chicken (sweet, but not candy sweet where it's too much & had a bit of a crunch) & the BBQ pork. The pork was sweet also & not overbearing. At first it seemed there was too much gravy coming with the meat, but then the side dishes absorbed that sweet gravy! The only issue I have with the pork (and it's an issue w/ most joints pork, so it's not necessarily them... but it can be remedied... is the fatty chunks. The solution? Make sure to have the less fatty pieces in one corner for the rate occurrence a customer asks for less fatty pieces. So that way the one behind the counter doesn't need to go mid-day lean pork fishing.Atmosphere is pretty simple. One small TV, volume low, somewhat drowned out by the sound of the A/C. Everything was clean, wiped down.Overall, a great experience. A solid A-. If they will make those small changes I would go as far as give them an A! (Not that there's much of a difference... As far as stars are concerned, 5-/5 (five minus, like an "A-") is the same as 5/5.

I've been meaning to hit this place for quite some time but every time I came across it when I was looking for a Chinese spot near by it was always closed? Anyway not too much to complain about honestly the quality is not too bad the orange chicken was a little more crunchier than I like still good though.. but at $11 for a two item combo ehhhh...yea I don't know about that I've been to other places that serve about the same or even more for three bucks less.. in my opinion nothing stood out that tells me this is worth $11 a plate also on the second plate we received more chow mein than the entrees overall I give this place a 3.5 it's alright.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Teriyaki bowl from Golden Gate. It was a nice-sized piece of chicken breast that they chopped into slices and served over a bowl of fried rice. You may request white rice instead. I couldn't determine if lo mein could also be substituted. The rice wasn't all that, but the Teriyaki more than made up for it. The space is small wit a couple of 4-seater booths and three or four 2-seater booths. It's set up buffet style with several of their most popular items in steam trays: fired rice, kung pao, sesame, beef /broccoli, egg rolls, shrimp. You may also order a la carte. For drinks they have a soda machine with coke products and they also have BANG! drinks which seem to be pretty popular in this area. Almost every QSR I've been too has them outside of the big chains. A flat screen is situated over the seating area. You can't really watch it while you're dining. I think its for the staff. The previous reviews are hit or miss which I attribute to new restaurant blues and growing pains. Again, its nothing to write home about, but if you're looking for decent Chinese fast food this is your place and it'll be mine for the forseeable future.

I came here once before about a year ago and ordered the shrimp. Somehow the young asian girl server thought I was just going to get a one-item combo. When I then asked for a second item, she removed several shrimp from the styrofoam box. WOW. I've never seen that before. It was a decent amount of shrimp before she removed half of them. When I asked about it, she said you get less of the first item when you get a two-item combo. Now on my second visit, today, the same young girl was there. I ordered the shrimp as a one-item combo. The other person (her mother?) barked out: for here or to go? I didn't know she was talking to me. When I saw the meager amount of shrimp in the box, and the 90% of rice and noodles, I told them: let's just forget the whole thing. Out I walked, unsatisfied. There you have it. I will never be back.

By far the best chinese food I've ever tasted!! I'm a super picky person when it comes to orange chicken but THIS orange chicken was perfectly crunchy and soft (wayyy better than Panda). Came across this place randomly and now it will for sure be my to go.
