They have a really good com tam plate here! I also got the bot chien, which was good if that's your thing. The market inside is nice for to-go options and other snacks. The ladies working there are really sweet and helpful.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I have always come here on Vegetarian Day, and today, I decided to visit with my boyfriend on New Year's Day (Tết). We wrote our names down on the list, but due to the loud fireworks, I couldn't hear when they called us. Someone crossed our names off, and when we returned to inform the staff, the woman ignored me at first. When I asked again, she dismissed me with a quick "okay, okay," then proceeded to call in other guests instead. We approached a waiter to explain that our names had been crossed out, and his response was that we needed to write our names down again. What kind of service is that? This experience was beyond frustrating. I will never return, and you have just lost a loyal customer. I hope this business shuts down soon.

Since my last post, I had a bad experience. I was hesitant for awhile to return but I still gave them another chance. It didn't fail. Unfortunately the service is consistently horrible. The woman who works here is extremely RUDE and has a bad attitude. She doesn't speak much English, and perhaps it's culture how she was brought up. It's no excuse and body language is universal. We don't have to speak each other's native language to understand that she is very rude. She passed by my table and yanked the menu in front of my face without asking if I was done or said excuse me or anything. It was quite rude. It was a quick snatch near my face and walked right passed me. Not sure if she hates her job, miserable with her life, or just plain judges people based on how they look. After we ate, my partner spoke to her alone and gave her some advice to not do that to customers. He told her how rude it was and is not the thing to do. Best to make sure to ask next time if they want continued business--she pretended like she didn't know. She got scared and pleaded not to tell the owners and that if they found out she'd get in big trouble and they'd remove her. Completely oblivious to what's going on. Was not genuine or sincere. She tried to apologize but didn't seem sincere because when she came over she said something glanced at me real quick and as I responded back to say something she turned and looked away and did something else. What the heck.We used to come here a lot but since this server has worked here, we haven't been giving them business. Unfortunately it sucks because only if the owner knows why no one returns here. Will not be coming back.

This is a great place for vegetarians since everything on the menu is vegetarian friendly. Since this is a Vietnamese establishment, everything they offer is a vegetarian version of common Vietnamese dishes such as Bun Bo Hue, Phoenix, Vermicelli, etc. Everything we ordered was delicious, but I think the Hu Tieu (noodle soup) was a bit bland.I recommend the following dishes: #31. Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio ($13.95), #9. Goi Mit - jackfruit/lotus salad ($14.95), and #10. Mi Xao Gion ($14.95).Service was great and the restaurant is spacious. The parking lot is a bit small, but if you come early, there will be no problem.

Finally had a chance to come to this place...Parking lot is really small so I never thought about coming here but it is around the corner almost from where i go every month so I walked there from the parking lot where Da Vien is at....What i liked most is unlike many Vegan or Vegetarian places they don't over salt their foods to make up for lost flavors....Fresh and refreshing....Nice staff and let me sit even though my friend wasn't there yet....My friend got the Duck Noodle Soup...which she enjoyed.I got the Bun Bi Cha Gio....which is a dry noodle dish which you normally would pour fish sauce over...I'm not sure what the vegetarian sauce is made of but it was good...They have a counter area with display of things to go which I plan to get some the next time I stop by.

Of course there are re numerous options to eat out in garden grove but we wanted leaning something towards vegetarian and we found a good spot. Fortunately we were all hungry and were the only ones when we came it. The inside is spacious and imagine on busier days or busier time of the day it probably get a lot of people coming in and out. Each of us ordered our plates and they came out pretty quick which was a good thing since we all were hungry.Everything was tasteful, two soup bowls and I got a flat rice noodles dish. Told them all veggies but they gave me combo. Guess they wanted that extra dollar but it's fine because it was good regardless.I forgot which bowl that they ordered but one of them was slightly bland.Either way the food was good, the place was nice, can't imagine how parking is when it gets busy. Service was the type of service you get when you are in that area if you know what I mean. So don't think too much of that. Good enough I guess you can say. Do recommend it though and even with so many options out there in GG I would still go back again.

I love vegetarian food and trying new places. I was around the area and came across this place. Parking lot is a bit small but I don't have trouble finding parking. The place is pretty spacious and aside from being a restaurant, it sold other express items as well. I decided to order the bun bi cha gio which was okay... it tasted a bit bland and the cha gio was a bit soggy and wet on the inside. Customer service was basic at a Vietnamese restaurant like this. I didn't like that they charge you $.50 for water? However, I read good reviews so maybe I didn't order the right choice ...

Golden Flower Vegetarian Restaurant came highly recommended by my cousin as one of her family favorites. On one of our larger family outings, we decided to come here to try their vegetarian interpretation of beloved traditional Vietnamese dishes. They are located on a fairly busy road, but they have their own small parking lot for customers only. If you're lucky you might find parking. Also, you can tell they cater to the local Vietnamese Buddhist community, because their menu discloses that they are able to omit onion or garlic for the super intense who believe onions and garlic are foods that excite passion. They were quickly to accommodate our large group of 10 by combining 2 tables. Please note there is an 18% service charge for parties of 6 or more.Huge family order! There were 4 Banh Xeos ($14.95/each) for the table to share, Bun Bo Hue ($13.95), Bun Rieu ($13.95), 2 Bun Thit Cha Gio ($13.95), Com Bo Luc Lac ($14.95), Bun Tofu Xao Xa ($14.95), Pho ($13.95), and my Banh Canh ($13.95). For drinks, there were mostly waters ($0.50/each NOT FREE), 2 Sua Dau Nanh ($3.00/each), Dau Xanh La Dua ($5.00) and 3 including one for me Rau Ma ($5.00/each). They forgot my banh canh with the original order, so they had to ask the kitchen to rush it. I munched on some of the shared banh xeos. The exterior was not as crispy as I liked and the filling was mainly bean sprouts. I'm not a fan of bean sprouts so I was removing most of the filling. When my food arrived it was less than impressive. If you are not familiar with banh canh it is a Vietnamese udon noodle made with tapioca so it has a slippery slurpiness. The bowl had imitation proteins, tofu, mushrooms carrots, broccoli and onions. The broth was not as flavorful as other vegetarian restaurants I have been to. I really did not like the imitation proteins. The tofu, mushrooms and onions were okay. I ate the broccoli to be healthy. My aunt was so funny she kept telling me she can make every dish better. It's true though. She really does. The meal was edible but it would be hard for me to come back when there are better vegetarian options out there.

First of all service is rude and they're out of items regularly. Also wasted time driving here only to find they were closed during business hours. Some of their food is too sweet. I hate to say it but I don't think this business will survive.

Our family came to have dinner at around 730pm on January 18th 2025. As soon as we sat down, the waitreses rushed us to order food cause they said the kitchen will be closed at 745pm. They brought out the food then keep watching us as we were eating. As soon as my mom finished her food the waitress came immediately took away the empty bowl and wiped clean the table surface where my mom sat. Their faces look ed so eager that they wanted us to hurry up finish eating and leave. If they accept us in before they close at 8pm, they were supposed to server us nicely. We were not happy with their services. We will never ever come back to this Golden Flower Veggie Restaurant again. We will also let everyone we know about their bad services especially the waitres with bad attitude named Thu.
