Expecting great taste cause website said owners partnered with a michellin star chef. Disappointing.

What a funky cool set up ! At the very beginning of downtown Disney, this is a collaboration of small restaurants to give you a great vibe to sit back and relax. Cashier thank you so much For being so inviting to be able to make us feel at home.Original crispy chicken sandwich with coleslaw and a hot honey tips off the top Don't forget the fresh oatmeal cream pie

The picture of the chicken sandwich does not quiet match what you get. This recently shop opened in downtown Disney. I love the concept. I don't love the price hike. All you get is a chicken sandwich for 18.99. The original chicken sandwich was spicy! I like my heart but my hubby doesn't. They have a spicy chicken sandwich as well. I wonder if it would be worst. The chicken sandwich was OK. I don't think it was worth $18. We also got the elotes. I liked it, my hubby thought it had a kick. I didn't mind it. Service was just Ok. You don't get the option to do take out. They hand you a beeper and ask you to sit upstairs where there's someone to wait on you. You can order upstairs as well which I would think makes it a longer process.

The food on principle is good, I can taste that the oil is kept clean. Time between ordering and getting our food was pretty quick. Now onto the food itselfI ordered the sweet and spicy chicken, because that's what I order at any chicken spot. There is nothing sweet or spicy about it. It was so bland we couldn't tell the difference between brioche, breading and chicken. The breading tasted like it had absorbed oil.It is disney, so I get they're gonna be pricy but for the price point it's so not worth it. For 40 bucks we could have just gone to black tap, or grabbed a bunch of snacks.

Want to say that the food is 3 stars per yelp scale. Original fried chicken sandwich was very crispy with its coating. The meat is chicken breast and a little dry. Fries were decently seasoned with their GG's dry rub. If you opt to pay for their garlic ranch, it is garlicky. Rating comes down to a 2 star rating if you factor in the prices. It's $18 for the sandwich and $8 for the fries. I did get a hard cider for $12 from one of the other shops, so I ended up spending $50 for this combo. If you eat on the 2nd floor of the food court, then you get table service for all of the stores in the food court, which is convenient. The convenience of that makes a case for an upgrade to 3 stars, but it's not quite there for me.

I ordered the Original fried chicken sandwich and waffle fries. The sandwich was $18 and the waffle fries were $8. Typical Disneyland prices. The sandwich was larger than expected and quite delicious. The outside was crispy and super juicy inside. I would ask for the spicy Mayo on the side as it was quite messy. The fries were amazing! Salty and crispy! Just wish it wasn't $8. The interior is shared with the other establishments. It's clean and well lit. When you order, you grab a seat and place the table tracker at the center of the table. They bring the food to you shortly.

We were hungry and headed over to Parkside to check out the different eateries that just opened in Downtown Disney. We stopped at GG's Chicken Shop and ordered an OG Chicken Sandwich ($16). We were told we could also order from the other restaurants on the same tab so we asked for the mini beef bowl from Seoul Sister under the kids' menu. The cashier looked at my husband and I and said but that's just for kids. Um, RUDE! I've never had issues ordering the kids portion at any of the Disneyland Resort restaurants and I found it very rude that the cashier didn't want to sell it to me because I did not have a child in front of them. I could have said, "Well she's with Grandma," but decided not to escalate it further and opted to just pay for the chicken sandwich. Luckily, they take the Magic Key Discount here so we got 20% off of our food. We were given a buzzer and were told that we needed to place the buzzer on the pad on the middle of the table. The chicken sandwich that arrived was not hot, but rather warm. It had been sitting wrapped for a bit I guess but the breading was good and the spice level mild enough for my sort-of-spice loving husband. The employees could use a lesson in Disney magic here. We also went upstairs to drink at the bar and ordered waffle fries ($6) from GG's. We didn't have any issues from the bartenders upstairs. I guess they may have rethought their pricing as the prices we experienced were a few bucks less than other reviewers within the past month.

Very expensive and small portion for the price you pay. Ordered the ranch fried chicken and waffle fries. It was not anything special and I was surprised at how small everything was considering the chicken sandwich was already $18.00 and the waffle fries was $8.00. Totally not worth it. Service was good and fast though and a lot of open tables.

Came here to grab a quick kid's meal for my daughter whilst hanging around Downtown Disney. This is such a great little foodcourt area. So clean and bright! I got the chicken strips kid's meal came, which came with 3 big tenders, waffle fries, an Honest juice box, and a choice of sauce - I chose the garlic ranch. The garlic ranch was tasty and my daughter liked dipping her fries in it. The tenders and fries seemed freshly cooked and were pretty good. I was actually impressed with the amount of food that came with the kid's meal that was only $12 and would've loved to even enjoy it all myself if I was under 9 years old lol Would definitely come here again to get my daughter's meal if hanging around Downtown Disney and wouldn't be opposed to trying their other chicken meals.

GG's Chicken Sandwich has some really good flavors. All the workers are excited that you came. The vibe is cool inside the park side market, Especially, with that full service bar upstairs. You can order from all three locations at once and they'll bring your food to you. Make sure to place your number in the middle of the table. No outside food is strictly enforced.

The food itself is fine but the pricing is outrageous... chicken sandwich $18 and waffle fries $8. I think I was more upset about the fries than the sandwich because I got only 8 pieces of the waffle fries. Thats essentially $1 a piece! $26 subtotal...while I can get a burger or hotdog meal with fries for around $12-$15 in the parks. Not worth it.
