Geeko Chicken

Located in the most unassuming deli spot in Signal Hill is where you'll find some of the best Korean chicken wings in the area and they definitely rival many of the big chains in Cerritos/Artesia.I had the original and honey soy glaze wings and kimchi fried rice and bulgogi kimbap. The wings and the rice were outstanding because the wings were pretty sizable and had a great, even textured batter that wasn't too thick, but maintained it's crunchiness for a while. The meat was very juicy and tender and cook well throughout. It was served with pickled diakon but also carrots and celery with ranch dressing. The rice had a strong mild kick and was very buttery but not too oily from the spam, and the egg was cooked just right to allow the yolk to fuse with the rice.The kimbap was good but didn't stand out for me although the prices were very reasonable. It's a very clean and spacious area to dine in but takeout was a breeze and the food was packed perfectly so that it maintained its freshness for thr drive home. The folks behind the counter couldn't be nicer!

This place is good! There aren't that many options to dine around this area so coming to Geeko Chicken was a relief. Love the plethora of options from deli sandwiches to Korean food. It was hard to settle on something as a first timer. I opted for the spicy pork with all veggies bowl. Delicious. Portion was very filling. Dedicated lot in front. Dining room had plenty of tables. Felt very much dive-y but we didn't mind it.The woman behind the counter was patient and friendly. Will definitely come back to try more!

Daughter #2 and I were craving fried chicken, and I've wanted to check this place out since moving out of Carson. I didn't have high expectations coming here, but the fried chicken blew me away. Geeko is nestled in an industrial area where it shares a deli inside. There was plenty of parking around 5:30pm on a Saturday, and the place was empty when we arrived. Two nice Korean Aunties took my order of 16 pcs of Honey Soy and Original.The wings came out about 10 minutes later, along with some ranch, carrots, and celery as our sides.The Original fried chicken flavor was wow. I've had Korean wings, but the Original was fried perfectly, and the meat was perfect. There's something about how it was friend orbreaded, but it was the perfect consistency of not being super crunchy but just the perfect crunch. Also, Honey Soy was saucy, but not super saucy, as it was perfectly coated on the wings, making it not super sweet like other Korean fried chicken.I will order Korean fried chicken wings from Geeko again the next time we crave them. This place needs more exposure!

My boyfriend and I were craving Kimbap, and I'm glad we tried this place!!We got the 8 Pieces Korean Fried Chicken Wings in Korean Sweet & Spicy, 1 Roll of the Regular Bulgogi Kimbap, and the Kimchi Fried Rice w/ Spam & Egg. The Korean Fried Chicken Wings were really good! They were the perfect amount of sweet and spicy. The pickled radishes were great, but I've never had Korean Fried Chicken Wings with carrots and celery so I was surprised when I saw those. The Regular Bulgogi Kimbap was great! I loved the sauce it came with. The Kimchi Fried Rice w/ Spam & Egg was so good! It had lots of rice, kimchi, cubes of spam, and one over easy egg. The employees were so kind! They were patient while we were deciding what to order! They gave us paper plates and water cups. They also checked up on us a couple of times, making sure we were doing well and that the food was great. When we were leaving, they asked us if the food was good and thanked us for putting our trays and trash away.The restaurant is a Korean Fried Chicken spot inside Champ's Deli Restaurant. We were a bit confused when we looked at the big menu board, and it was the deli menu. The Geeko Chicken menu board was on the right of the counter, along with a menu stand. The restaurant / deli was empty. My boyfriend and I were the only people sitting and eating, and there were a few people getting their order to-go. There was plenty of seating, and it was very clean. I would come here again, and I would recommend this place to people! The food we had was super good, and I want to try other Korean Fried Chicken Wing flavors and their Topokki!!

So I was just driving by and seen this spot on the corner of my eye ,stopped by and so glad I did everything was bomb specially the fried chicken being super crispy and juicy with great flavor . Service was nice just one person taking orders . Inside was very small but if you look past that you'll be happy as the food smackkkkked . Not sure what this drink was but I'm also glad I got it

Absolutely a go-to! This is definitely a Gem. Will definitely be back! The chicken is so incredibly crunchy and tender. First time place where I could taste the lemon pepper and it was so delicious. Tteok-bokki is the perfect flavor and spicy level. I love my spice so if you have a low tolerance i would say get some drinks. Definitely worth the burn. Gimbap definitely hit the spot! There are seats inside and a nice wall clock. They also have dessert so will come back for that. Service was spectacular!

Came here on a Saturday around 3pm no line. Service was quick and friendly! Plenty of parking in front lot and plenty of seating inside. Portions were extensive but we came for the Korean fried chicken. We ordered the pepper lemon and sweet and spicy fried chicken they were both super good and that crunch was good. The sizes were big too. The kimbap was good size too. Overall, will come again to try more options!

This place is such a hidden gem. It's located in a small business warehouse plaza/ area. It is combined with a deli place so they offer not only Korean items (eg, fried chicken, teriyaki bowls, gimbap etc), but also American breakfast items, burgers, etc. It was not fancy but very cozy and comfortable. Superb service like your friendly neighborhood shop. We came by on a random weekday morning because I was craving for fried chicken and there are not many places in signal hills that offered authentic Korean fried chicken. The Korean fried chicken did not disappoint. It came with radish and carrots. The chicken (original) was delicately crispy and juicy. We also got the beef teriyaki bowl (pictured here) and bulgogi burrito. The meat were similar and both were really tasty. Flavorful and just right. The burrito came with lettuce that off set the meat. Overall it was such a great meal. Would recommend!
