Full Moon Sushi

This place does a great business! Today the service was a little slow because we got there right at noontime opening. Usually, they are right on top of service. The ambiance is a little different. They have a sushi bar where you can sit, eat, and watch the guys make sushi. I don't see many sit there during the day. It's a basic good food at a great price vibe. Locals flock to this place. The seats are hardwood, but you don't mind. The food is served quickly enough you don't sit long.My favorite is the teriyaki chicken and tempura combo. It comes with a salad, rice and miso soup. The price is awesome. Much less than you'd expect. I don't want to say in case it changes. Just bring $20 and you can get that and a beer and some edimame. You'll still have room for a tip.My husband orders all apps for his meal....pan fried gyoza, cucumber salad with shrimp, or you can have octopus. They have a great menu! We try to go at least once a week.

i've been going to this sushi restuarant for yearsssss & they remain my go to because of the full moon special combos alone!!i always order the crunchy roll combo with beef & it comes with rice, salad, & miso soup! dinner all for $14 & it leaves me super full and satisfied! a very affordable meal no matter the time of daythere's plenty of tables inside & is never really too busy but i prefer to order over the phone to pickup within 15 minutes

It's a good place for an every day eatery. Great value and absolutely love this spot. Food is good and fair value.They have many menu items for people who prefer cooked foods also. Take out orders are almost always ready within 20 minutes, and I have never been disappointed with their sushi. I like Crunch Roll, Yellowtail Sashimi, Gyoza, Jalapeno Yellowtail Roll , bake Salmon rolls. Service is top notch. Very limited seating so you may have a wait on a busy evening. Another location in Tustin !

My husband and I used to frequent the Tustin location when we lived in Tustin. But now we frequent this location and now with our son. All I can say is good food and prices. We always order the healthy full moon roll, super healthy full moon roll, el jalapeño, spider roll, and sesame chicken for our son. They are really busy there, but service is always good. They always come by our table to check up on us and to see if we needed anything else.

Was craving sushi for lunch and Full Moon Sushi is on the way to my boy's tattoo shop. Was not disappointed; this was the 2nd time eating at Full Moon and this time I ordered the Hawaiian Roll which is a Cali Roll topped with Poke style tuna. Very flavorful and vibrant and a gorgeous presentation. Also had the El Jalapeño which had thick ripe slices of jalapeños that's packed a nice kick! The ambiance was quiet and was not busy at all during the early dinner hour before rush. Friendly, hospitable staff that was on top of their service. My kinda place!

Great little spot! We took a chance in this place, and we are glad we did! Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. High quality. Our favorite was the crunch roll, but their sashimi sampler was awesome too! Service was good, but they were packed with only one server, so food was a bit slow to arrive. She did excellent taking care of the whole restaurant. Sodas are canned. Well worth the visit! Glad we came by.

I've been coming to full moon for the past 7 years and the food tastes exactly the same. The beef teriyaki bowl is delicious and comes with a side of miso soup. The cost of this item is very affordable and it's a good portion size. You also can do a to go order if you call in. Service is good and the environment inside is very calm. It has a honey vibe to it. If you choose to pay with credit card, please remember that your meal needs to be $10 or over. Otherwise, pay cash.

I was running some errands close by and decided to get some sushi from FM since it had been a while. I got the full moon roll (healthy version) and I forgot what the other one is called, but it was spicy tuna basically. Service was quick 15 minutes or from the time I called in. Staff was nice and prompt. FM looked like how I remembered. It didn't look like much has changed in recent years. It was clean and they were about to close until dinner service. In conclusion, the sushi wasn't bad and it wasn't good. It was just ok. Not how I remembered back in its day. The fish didn't taste fresh and my rolls fell apart when I picked them up with some chopsticks. I ate them, but it didn't hit the spot for me. I honestly don't know if I'll be back. Wanted to give it a go again, but it just wasn't there for me.

Just wanted to bless yall with the menu. Saw that the full menu hasn't been updated on here for 7 years and it's one of my fave places for a good price, but they are constantly busy so orders will take about 45-60 minutes to be prepared so just plan for that if you come here to either call ahead or wait and shop in the area around. But I come here a lot I live down the street and just chill at home and call in my order. Absolutely love the el jalepeno and their tataki special roll, it has some sort of lemon pepper seasoning ontop it's so bomb! My boyfriend usually gets a tuna bowl with tuna rolls he's not very picky. My best friend also recommends the catapiller roll if your into sweet eel. Hope this helps!
