Fun 1950's style place to stop and have a burger, fries, salad, sandwich & more. The servers are friendly. They roll around in rollerskating. There are a few tables shaped like cars. They offer patio sitting. It's not a cozy place. Good for a family lunch/dinner with kids.

Unique and fun atmosphere! My family and I stopped here on a recent road trip and we were not disappointed. We arrived a little after 8pm on Saturday night and they were not busy. The main dining room looks like the front walls open up like a garage door to create a bit of an open air dining room, but with it being late and a little cooler, these were closed. I imagine during the day they are open. The overall theme of a 50's diner is cute. There is a lot of seating in the dining area. There are 2 dining tables that look like the back of an old Cadillac. This of course is everyones favorite place to sit. The food is basically burgers & shakes with a few other items. You will notice there are "Frisco" Burgers and "Basic" Burgers. The difference is that the Frisco burgers are served on toasted sourdough bread and the basic is your regular hamburger bun. We ordered the "Frisco" style, which was fantastic. It almost reminds me of Texas Toast. The burgers are a good size. I am a big guy with a huge appetite, and I considered doing a "Double". I am glad I didn't because I had a hard time finishing my regular burger. A must-try on the menu is their "Parmesan Zucchini Sticks". One order is 6 pieces and they are delicious. The staff here are great. When they bring your food out to you, they were rollerskates! Very fun! Only downside to our visit was the cleanliness. Throughout the restaurant, it just looked messy. We did come late in the evening, but they didn't appear to have staff that was focused on busing tables and wiping counters and the drink station down. The bathrooms were the worst part of the cleanliness. Overall, we enjoyed our food. If you are in the area, it's worth a try.

Fresco's Carhops offers a charming dining experience, though we opted for the drive-thru since we arrived just 30 minutes before closing. The customer service was friendly, and the exterior was nicely decorated and clean. We tried the Frisco's Cheeseburger Combo and the new Frisco Fire Burger Combo. The Frisco-style burger was unique, with an unexpected but tasty choice of bread. My burger was juicy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with well-seasoned fries. The Frisco Fire Burger was delicious--not too spicy, but with a satisfying kick. I would definitely return for the dine-in experience, as the atmosphere and food both make it worth the visit.

Love this spot for quality comfort food. On a diet? - don't come! Looking for craft stuff? - don't come! Looking for delicious fatty comfort food that isn't made with cheap crap? - cum! Awesome, friendly staff. Clean spot. And it's a private owned local restaurant? - love it.

I have to admit that I really enjoyed the atmosphere and service most of all. The chilli fries were just okay, nothing to get excited over. The strawberry milkshake was very tasty. Overall, I probably wont return because it's a long hike from West Hollywood.

Headed through the drive-thru, took a bit of a wait; knew it was being made to order. The place looks like it has a vibe , the employees were friendly and did their services with a smile. These meals were good and better than average comfort foods.. I'd come back to try other items on the menu... the burrito wasn't much greasy, I requested bacon extra crispy and got exactly that!.. the pancakes were better than the eggs and bacon was in pieces (not strips), no hash browns and syrup included.

A fun find in Whittier where you can dine in a car like booth and food is delivered via roller skates. It's a diner so expect things like burgers, fries, salads, shakes and stuff in between. The chicken pita was delicious and jammed packed with a good portion of grilled chicken. The French fries were outstanding. They had a secret coating on them, which made them very unique. My guy had the classic cheeseburger and a milk shake. There is indoor and outdoor eating. Along with a drive thru. Prices are reasonable and restaurant is family friendly.

Son said the Frisco Fire burger was ok. He wasn't too happy with the bread being chewy. The classic cheeseburger was underwhelming. The best items were the zucchini and onion rings. We place our order at the front and it was brought to our table by an employee on skates. We enjoyed the 50's themed decorations.

I truly miss the 50's themed diner restaurants with good food and the ambiance to match. If you're willing to hop into a car, come here for great burgers/sandwiches that are as good as the other reviewers say it is. Really made my late-birthday celebration worth coming out for.Location: In Whittier on Whittier Blvd right next door to a masonry/tile shop with a smog check place behind it. Look for the pink Frisco sign sticking out from the building. Food: I got the Chipotle Bacon Cheeseburger (double) and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was and not just because I was hungry. You can actually taste the charbroiling to the meat. The buns were toasted. The cheese was melted. The fries were seasoned, crispy and hot. I couldn't be more pleased with my meal because most themed diner food tends to fall flat when it comes to the food. I wish I had room for dessert, but my. stomach just isn't the size of a hippo. Ambiance: You won't be bored with all the retro decor to look at, believe me. From the posters up on the wall to the various nicknacks in the dining area. Betty Boop greets you before you hit the bathroom. A few of the booths were designed with bench seating in a Cadillac. Summary: Honestly, I need to come back here again just to see if the desserts live up to the name "diner." They also have sandwiches, burritos, salads and even a kid's menu. Breakfast is served from 7am-2pm. There is an outdoor patio that is pet friendly and a drive thru too. Want to eat in your car? You can!! The trays are designed to hang onto to your window while you eat. Service was friendly, personable and some (not all) waitresses will deliver your food on roller skates. Neat, huh?? Pricing is on par what I expected, but it's not cheap. There used to be 2 locations (Downey), but this location is the only one left. Came here to belatedly celebrate a birthday and I'm glad I came here instead. Happy eating!!
