We came here for dinner after seeing a video on Instagram. They noticed we were first timers to the restaurant so they offered recommendations on the menu. The entire staff were friendly and helpful. There's plenty of seating both inside and out. The only issue is a lack of parking since it's a small strip of businesses adjacent to CHOC/St Joseph's. Coming for dinner shouldn't be a problem most of the time. They recommended the carne asada which was intriguing since they also have prime cuts of beef as a speciality. I also had the waygu ribeye and was surprised to think the carne asada was better than the waygu. It was juicy and tender. Perfectly cooked. I also tried the tripa. I've had tripe in my pho plenty of times but never in a taco. The texture was different than what I'm used to but I loved it. It se slightly crispy from the grill and had a great smokey flavor. All in all it was a great experience with perfect service and fantastic food. We'll be coming back here often.

Wow wow wow!!!!! The food here is seriously AMAZING. Very tasty and delicious. We got torta with chicken, nachos with carnitas, and the filet minon taco. All were so good. 5/5. Fresh salsa bar. Wonderful service too, everyone was very friendly.The only thing is we didn't realize is that during the day there is a different restaurant here so we went back the next day at lunch wanting tacos and realized they only open 5-10pm

Wow were these the best tacos I've had in a very very long time. It was my first time here so the women at the counter helped me order by recommending their favorites. You can't go wrong with anything you order here. Although you might be tempted to take your food to-go since you order at the counter, I strongly recommend eating in or even right outside to watch them grill some of the meat right in front of you! The salsa bar was next level. I wish I lived just a litttle bit closer because I would be here at least once a week!!

was treated to Valentines Dinner to go, and 1 mishap and no phone number shown. ordered 2 portal (carne asada fantastic) and filet mignon taco. unfortunately the other portal ( a ribeye was recommended) looked, tasted like stringy dry pork which neither of us could (or wanted to eat) perhaps, another change and sit down, if mgmt would help with recommendation and partial reimbursement

Tacos were amazing! I had the ribeye, filet mignon and iberico tacos - all the meats were juicy and so flavorful! Can't beat these prices either!Service was so nice. Will definitely come back again soon!

Best tacos ever. Tacos that you would see featured on Netflix's Taco Chronicles. Prime cut meats cook over wood and charcoal! Salsas flavorful. Even the chips were superb. Friendly service. Anepalco did it again.

Let me start by saying, I'm from Long Beach and have been to plenty of taquerias from LA down to San Diego. I say this with all honesty, the wagyu ribeye taco here is the single best taco I have EVER had. The lengua was stellar and the pollo a las brasas was chef's kiss. The vibe is very authentic street food, I love it. Customer service is top notch, suuuuper friendly! Don't forget to grab an agua fresca to go with your tacos! I can't wait to come back here, I'm gonna have dreams about that wagyu ribeye. Sorry, no pics. I ate the food too fast!

My family and I recently discovered this taqueria and went twice in one week because we enjoyed it so much. The staff are friendly and kind, the food is flavorful using quality ingredients. These are not really street tacos and you're paying a bit more, but it's worth it for the quality you're getting. They mostly have tacos and burritos with various cuts of meat. My favorite have been the lengua (my family loves) and tripas. Excited to have this restaurant around and will definitely make it a regular spot.

Ok, the only disappointment with this place, is that they do not open until 5pm -- otherwise, it would be on our weekly rotation for lunch!Tried 7 different tacos, all were just amazing. We ordered 6, and when I picked up the order at the counter, I mentioned that the reviews of the ribeye tacos were what brought us in. "Wait a few minutes, we just put some on the BBQ". My husband thought the carnitas taco was the best he has ever had. I vote that honor to the ribeye.
