Fat Fish Sushi

Crab filling of the typical roll has no flavor but the service is great.Soy sauce is not flavorful.My son loved the tonkatsu ramen - good broth

Another great meal at Fat Fish Sushi. This was our second time at this fantastic restaurant. The service was once again excellent and the sushi was delicious! We are very lucky to have such a great sushi restaurant in our neighborhood.

Back in May, a fellow yelp*er messaged me, asking what I thought about Fat Fish Sushi's AYCE. At the the time I had never been to restaurant but since, it has been on my to-try list. If you are a paying customer, you're paying to be there. In addition, one of their prerequisites for AYCE is a two or more people. However, I was alone at the time and it wasn't an issue. I'm guessing that during peak times, they would rather give up space for a party of two or more customers to maximize profits. IMO, not a very smart business practice. It's a good way to lose a lot of potential clients.Like most other sushi restaurants, artificial crab meat could be found in quite a few of the rolls I ordered. I am a big fan of salmon so I will always order the nigiri. Me and my Friend were looking for a authentic sushi place and ended up at Sashami across the Street... ( this is not an advertisement) We got to Sashimi and 22.50$ for a California Roll?!??We left instantly! Their pricing was very overpriced for the establishment conditions. Fat Fish Recap:The place is so cute with lots of traditional decor and ambiance. 40$ per person for all you can eat! The Server, Emily was very polite and attentive.She recommended the tastiest dishes and even let us customize our rolls.My Friend and I were very impressed with the results of the food that he got up to personally thank the chef!!!!definitely recommend, food and service. A 10/10I would recommend the owners to have more calm/low ambient lighting and this place would be top tier! Recommend Recommend! Come here to fat fish and you'll leave a Fat Fish haha!

Horrible sushi, there was. hair and the lady asks if im not eating the piece that had hair on it. rude kicked our friend for not eating.

Best AYCE sushi menu that I have experienced. The fish was fresh and delicious. They do not put too much rice. The service was amazing as well. Would highly recommend.

this place is atrocious. at first i didn't even want to eat here once i sat down since all the prices are way higher than they say they are online. but i decided to stay because it seems to be a family ran business. that shit does not save this experience. the sushi is like whatever and the ramen is horrid. it's literally instant ramen noodles sold for 18 dollars. which is way more than i anticipated paying for in the first place since all the prices are inaccurate online. In fact they hide the prices on the menu for some reason??? They can't make the simplest of accommodations like not putting in mushrooms into the ramen?? And the food for what we got took way longer than it should've. i hate leaving bad reviews on these smaller mom n pop spots but if you want something even a little good do not come here. we were also checked up on once. skip this spot if you love yourself.
