Farmhouse at Roger's Gardens

This "sniffs in" around 4.5 stars...I have not been on property since 2015 so it was nice to finally try this restaurant.The inside section is smaller but the outdoor is all covered with tents and has more than ample heat lamps.I'll do my best off memory...PIZZA OF THE DAY w/Mozzarella, balsamic vinegar, arugula?, sliced red apple, EVO?, prosciutto, pesto (white style pizza):-- nice dough, not too crisp nor too soft, great taste-- ample ingredients-- a very nice pie-- all the ingredients work hereRATING = AROASTED CAULIFLOWER:-- not scared to use some oil and I LIKE it-- very aesthetically pleasing to the eye-- pine nuts and green herbs on top-- very roasted on top-- oil underneathRATING = ASHRIMP, SCALLOPS, MUSSELS w/bread, polenta:-- a light red broth-- wife's dish, she was a definite fanRATING = ACOD FISH w/cubed PINEAPPLE, red pepper, and more:-- the cod was perfectly breaded and cooked, shiny and smooth and not overcoooked-- the dish on the whole is very visually pleasing-- as a meal it is a bit too busy...I like to get a bit of everything together on my fork in a dish but the fruit and sweet dominated too much so I had to eat the fruit like a fruit salad and eat the fish separately-- I do not know if there were pine nuts, pasta, couscous or something else because the sweet and fruit killed any detection I could on flavor or textureRATING = A-The sweet potato dessert sounded interesting as did the vanilla bean creme pot but I decided to veto at $14 for the former and save a few calories as well.It's a great venue to shop for your garden and then enjoy your reservation at the restaurant. The parking lot is surprisingly tiny so for dinner you will likely have to utilize their free valet on the other side. Service is excellent and food comes out in a timely fashion.

This place is truly magical. My friend and I came in for dinner to celebrate our birthdays and had the best time. We made reservations a month in advance and were sent a text message to confirm our reservation which made things very easy. Parking is plentiful in the lot right beside the restaurant. Inside the ambiance is magical- secret garden lovely. After checking in we were seated in a little alcove off the main dining area. Despite the chilly night we were nice and warm under the outdoor heaters. Mirella greeted us and took our drink order and then reviewed the menu. We opted to enjoy the restaurant week menu since it looked pretty tasty. It was fabulous!!! The drinks were amazing and the food was devoured. We enjoyed the vegetable tostada, fried green tomato, and the beef medallions. They were tender and cooked perfectly. For desert Mirella brought us the spiced olive cake along with a sweet birthday treat to make a combined wish with. It was truly above and beyond. We had such a fabulous time we cannot wait to return!!

I have been wanting to take my friends here for a while!So last Sunday was the day we we had a nice mountain bike ride at Crystal Cove.And got to Rogers garden around 10:30 am little before the Restaurant opened. The restaurant has an excellent energy the staff are very nice and attentive but they don't make you feel rushed.The restaurant reminds me of a nice winery.I ordered the seared albacore sandwich. I loved it very healthy too and to make it perfect a couple IPAs were really delicious. My friend got the chili their day with poached eggs. I believe definitely worth a visit maybe a nice date night for you and your significant other.

Gosh, had such a lovely dinner here with my friend. We both got the seafood dish and it was delicious. Fresh taste and full of flavor. Staff were super nice and welcoming. Location was easy to find and literally next to Rodger's Garden. Nice decor with lots of greenery and flowers. It felt very inviting and cozy for dining with friends, family, or date night. I can't wait to come back. Definitely make reservations ahead of time.

A hidden gem in Corona Del Mar, feels like you enter a different world, beautiful environment for date night with outdoor seating that is dog friendly and lots of lights everywhere at night. You literally eat in a garden and during the day time there is garden to walk through. The food can be pricy but it's not bad considering the area and environment. The food is very fresh and tasty, with natural and healthy ingredients. Today's pizza is super unique with apples on top! Highly recommend it! The Asian salad was delicious too. Burger was a little dry but their in house ketchup made up for it. Service was excellent, will definitely share with my friends and return.

Reservations a must friends! I had a reservation for Sunday at around 1:15pm, and we only waited 5 min. to get seated. I heard a party of 5 come in without reservations, and the waiting time was 45 min. Avoid waiting and make your reservation.We started with ROSEMARY PARMESAN CRISPS and white bean puree. Light, crunchy and great way to open your appetite. You can ask for more bean puree if you run out.We shared the PANKO, CURRY & COCONUT CRUSTED ICELANDIC COD and the POMEGRANATE & BALSAMIC GLAZED SALMON SALAD. Both a must if you're pescatarian and vegetarian :)The ambiance is so relaxing as you walk through the garden to the Farmhouse. It makes you want to go back and check out the plant and flowers offerings after eating at the Farmhouse.Service is amazing! Super nice staff all around. They can give recommendations and know when to refill your Arnold Palmer :)

Such a cute place to grab lunch and get plants! They decorate for the holidays and it's really something to see. We got some shareables including their seasonal pizza. I then got a Mediterranean salad that was perfectly well dressed and very fresh! I also really enjoyed the desserts we got and found the service to be excellent.

This place is so busy all the time. We luckily got in without reservations but you had to sit at the bar. Everything was so pricey, I almost just wanted the bread and soup. I couldn't afford an entree so my friend decided to get the pizza and fish and both of them were so good. I would definitely recommend both of them. The only thing I didn't like was that our food took forever. Both parties on each side of us got their food and we were there before them. We were getting really hungry and even the people to our right gave us some of their appetizer, haha, to hold us over.

We had an amazing lunch at Farmhouse after visiting Roger's Gardens. Our waitress Crystal, was amazing we appreciated her expertise and she didn't steer us wrong. 2 of us ordered the Panko, Curry and Coconut crusted Cod, one ordered the pizza and finally one ordered the chopped grilled vegetable salad. Each meal was spectacular in its own way! Of course we had to share to get a flavor of each item. The pizza was delicious, the crust was especially good! The roasted veg salad was plentiful and fresh. But the Cod took the prize! Plenty for one person! The flavors were perfect. No added seasonings needed. The Farmhouse was delightful with views of the gardens from every table. We loved the gift shops, and there were more than a few items we ended up purchasing!

Finally tried Farmhouse at Roger's Garden and it did NOT disappoint! We went for lunch without a reservation during Christmas time (whoops) and put our name in before they opened. Our wait was about 45 minutes but we just walked around the gardens which is beautiful and didn't mind the wait at all. We did get sat at the bar in front of the blue crates which was a bummer but understandable without a reservation. Will definitely make a reservation next time for better ambiance, but I will say the bar crew were so incredibly nice and welcoming. Now onto the food! My friend got the hot cider and it smelled delicious. I got a glass of champagne because I was feeling fancy. So many things looked good on the menu but I chose the filet medallion salad which was the best salad I've ever eaten. Still dreaming about it. Crave it!!!!! Can't wait to come back. A+ !
