Ginger were chopped up pieces, dried out, weightless. Looks like the ginger I had to toss because it sat on the shelf for a month.

I love this delivery service! This was my 2nd week. I discovered Farm Fresh to You, a few weeks ago, at the Venice Artists & Fleas market. I've been ordering food online, for many years, with different delivery services and from every kind of store; Whole Foods, Bristol Farms, Pavilions, Ralph's, Sprouts, Green Acres, Erewhon, DoorDash, Postmates, Amazon, etc.. For using produce and products that come from local farmers and California farms & companies, it's great! I was ordering from another service, that's also supplied with local farms. It's great too, but expensive and about twice as much as this one. I did the number crunching and added up the usual things I like to order, through Whole Foods on Amazon and compared it to this service and it's less or about the same depending on the product. So, I'm not paying more than I usually do. In fact, Farm Fresh to You was about half as much as the other company I buy from when ordering the same products. Because I'm ordering from local California farmers I actually expect my fruits and veggies to not look perfect and to even have dirt on them. In fact, the luxury farm box service I'd purchased from before, often came with things like carrots that were dirty. Yes, they had dirt on them and I didn't clutch my pearls. I like it and just washed it off. Makes it more authentic. The fruits and veggies I ordered from Farm Fresh were clean, but I'm not going to lose it if some do come that way. It's better than the cookie cutter overly perfect looking stuff I see at the regular grocery stores; where you pay a little less, but it's not organic, etc.. As much as I love ordering from Whole Foods, every week, their stuff sometimes doesn't last very long. Partly, that's the nature of organic foods. When I ordered meat, through Farm Fresh, it came with cold packs and special packaging. I was impressed, because even Amazon delivery, DoorDash and Postmates don't give you that. I love being able to choose what goes into my box, because my other farm box didn't and it cost more. I also felt like they had a really nice selection of grocery add on items to choose from, considering they're not a large grocery food chain. Some of the things they offered, I also buy at Whole Foods; for example the Artisola ravioli, Marin French cheese, Sweet Craft desserts, etc.. Pictures below, 1st & 2nd box. I made things like smoothies; banana, kale & apple juice, hamburgers with the Frog's Bakery buns & beef, Buckhorn Tri Tip steak & Dwelley Farms green beans. We loved it and I look forward to using their food service again!

Man... so disappointed. Got my first delivery today. Fruit and vegetables are not fresh. And the amount you get is small, which I don't mind. But the quality is trash. I had to cancel my subscription right then. I was hoping for some fresh organic fruits and veggies, I got spoiled strawberry and old ginger.I gingerly regret my mistake...

Farm fresh to you was hit or miss throughout the many years I've used them. We've had an off and on relationship. Lol The service was always good but unfortunately they couldn't always deliver good products.I totally understand that everything can't be perfect, and I understand the price is higher due to it being dropped off @ my doorstep. But what I can't understand is that things are always missing or spoiled.Like, where's the quality control.I don't like to complain, but it was getting to be a hassle again.Having to complain about missing items and spoiled or rotten food.I could never count on anything, and it just wasn't fun getting boxes anymore. So again, I broke it off with farm to you.

Order for 4 items that should cost $10-13 at grocery is $37.08 on farm fresh to you?!!! You have got to be kidding. I called them to make sure this wasn't an error and they nonchalantly acted like $37+ was normal for just one head of cabbage, one bunch of broccoli and a small box each of spinach and arugula. Absurd. I canceled our subscription before it even started. Who would pay this much. The cabbage and broccoli alone was $27!! For just one cabbage and one bunch of broccoli. Of note, I initially tried to leave the box as picked by them and just add these 4 items I wanted additionally, and the cost jumped from $37 to $70! So I then deleted items one by one to get back down to the base rate of $37 which ended up requiring me to delete every single item on the box except for the additional 4 items. It's not like I am adding a lot, just 4 things. How is this the result and cost??

Ordered a subscription when I visited 123 farm. They had a promotion for $27 boxes with a free almond milk. The boxes are delivered as scheduled, and you get email updates/reminders regarding deliveries and customizing your weekly box. I got 2 deliveries and unfortunately decided to cancel because some of the items (including red and the green leaf lettuce) just went bad because we didn't eat them; and we didn't really care for the taste of the free almond milk. I was hoping that my family and I would try to be eating more healthy since we were getting these boxes. However, I liked that the produce was fresh, organic and neatly packaged.

I'm so happy with this service and the consistently great quality of the fruits and produce provided! I'm not sure exactly how the Farm Fresh Elves do it! Look at these colors! Each box has been delivered with care and even though I understand sometimes substitutions are necessary, they hardly ever happen. I love the newsletter, too; it's a weekly Romantic homage to pastoral life Subscription is very easy to modify and when I need to skip a week I can do so or donate my haul. Easy peasy.

This company is a scam. Buyer beware! They say you have 3 days to reach out and let them know if your produce is bad. However they have a live chat on the website that is never accessible and they dont respond to emails. I've emailed three times. I received brown romaine, my oranges were soggy and peaches were molded. I am not willing to risk even eating anything else.

I rarely review things but the service is far beyond disappointing. Customize boxes for them to be left outside overnight, with no notice aside from an email? Who is going to check their email constantly for a failed delivery notice. Even if the box made it to my door it's supposed to sit for who knows how long until it's received? No refund when I asked to cancel or try the same box again. I would have cancelled if she told me I could not receive the same box again. I never received the replacement box and it was not the same box in the first place. Customer service only removed the first charge but not the second box that wasn't delivered. Why would you think it's an acceptable delivery method to leave things at 3am on a city sidewalk without trying to enter or contact the client. If you do not customize a box. You will get what they choose. It is NOT the policy that you will not receive a box. So stay on top of it if you do have better luck with delivery. Unfortunately, this has been nothing but a hassle.

Apples were coated in a thick wax. Could not even rinse them. Water repelled. I'm allergic to pesticides. The broccoli gave me a rash which is an allergic reaction. Same with the bok choy. All items got trashed - complete waste of money $80Company did not respond. These are not growers of produced. They are middleman and may have very little idea of what they are actually providing. Don't know but be cautions if you're sensitive.

I signed up after a persistent but polite salesperson visited our neighborhood a few times. The promise of high-quality local organic food convinced me to give it a try. However, the cost for what you receive is outrageous, and the quality was no better than what I can find at my local grocery store or Costco's organic selection. To make matters worse, one of the items, the bananas, arrived brown and mushy on the very first morning. I was incredibly disappointed, especially since I was genuinely interested in using their service. I canceled immediately and would never consider trying it again.
