OMG this place! This is a hole in the wall Filipino food place. It has a little cafe feel and when we walked in we were greeted warmly. They didn't have much in variety available due to them running catering out of here as well. So our options were limited to Sisig and Dinuguan, which of all the choices are pretty amazing haha.FOOD:Dinuguan:This was everything my childhood self was expecting! All the flavors were there and the meat was so juicy! It also didn't feel very heavy which was nice! This went well with the Pandesal I got as well as over my rice :)Sisig:OMG yes! This also just excited my palette! Everything I knew Sisig to be was delivered in this delicious mix! It has just a little kick to it which is nice as sometimes Sisig can be very spicy!Lumpia Shanghai:These were great! Cooked fresh and had such a great crunch on the outside with a juicy pork interior! Well seasoned and well cooked! My little brother said "they are fire".Pandesal:Also solid! The slight sweetness of the bread was spot on and just brought me so much joy.OVERALL:This is a small family owned business that delivers on the flavors you are looking for in Filipino food and at the cost they charge this is a STEAL! If you are looking to try some Filipino food for the first time or looking for something that will remind you of flavors you had growing up, I believe this is the place to come! The only downside would be the fact that you may have more variety of food depending on the day and that inconsistency may be a deciding factor, but rest assured whatever they do have on hand is going to be delicious and surprisingly lighter than some other places. The lady there said that there would be more food the next day.

Wanted to find new filipino spots to try and came across this place. I got a combo plate with menudo and lechon kawali and it wasnt bad! I also ordered a 1/4 lb of chicharon bulaklak, but I did not notice they never put it in the bag until I got home (i live 30+ min away). I remember when they were bagging up my item, I just assumed that the chicharon was in the togo box (this was my mistake and I should have confirmed). Because I did get charged for it, I decided to call back to see if they can refund me back but after 5 or 6 calls, no one was answering sadly. Also the phone number on the menu board (ending in 2135) is different than the one listed on Apple Maps and Yelp (2134) so i tried calling both but no one picked up so I was a bit confused there. I definitely want to go back and try their sisig and halo halo next time! I don't want to give up on this place yet!!If i lived closer I would've drove back! I know i shouldve just asked myself if the chicharon was in there but I didnt know any better. I just wish I was able to speak to someone on the phone, hence me having to leave this review instead:(

I was able to visit Even Dough this week, and it was really good. The restaurant is not fancy, it's a mom-and-pop shop. The nice lady behind the counter let me know that she was from Manila. I got the three-item combo that costs $20, and they give you generous portions. For one of my items, I asked for spaghetti, and she let me know that this was not Italian spaghetti, which tends to be salty. Instead, it's Filipino spaghetti, which tends to be sweet. I let her know that I was able to visit the Philippines back in the 1990s, and I was familiar with the food. I also got a second item that was made with beef and a third item made with noodles. I eat far more than the average person, and the three-item combo filled me up. The food was hot and tasty, so if you're in the area, then it's worth a visit to pick up a meal to-go or to eat there at the restaurant.

Pros: Food was really good and the service was okay. The kitchen and counters seemed clean. The sisig was perfectly sour and savory. Tocino was cured very well. Gulaman reminded me of the one my lola use to bring home to us, perfectly sweet but no tooth ache. Cons: The prices were a bit high compared to other filipino food around the area. I paid $75 and some change for 3 medium containers (sisig, pinakbet, and tocino), a pound of lechon, and gulaman drink. I ordered around 12:30 PM and there wasn't many people there but no pancit. They ran out by lunch sadly. I would definitely come back but I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to choose this place unless I was near.

Updated: got called out for "only reviewing filipino restaurant" being unfair to minority business. FYI this place is the only filipino restaurant i made a review on. how about we stop playing the victim card, and use reviews as a constructive criticism to better your business. Being a minority business owner got nothing to do with my initial review living ing 2024 and youre still pulling the race card? Maybe if you sell good food with honest prices people might not want to leave bad reviews ever think of that? Unless you lot really on here scamming people. GTFOH race and being a minority got nothing to do with bad price and bad food. DO BETTER.

Definitely not worth the 12 dollars. Came at 10:15 to get food for lunch because the previous owners served breakfast. There was no actual menu. Didn't have much food prepared. I ordered whatever the had which was the beef. These portions are definitively not worth the priceEdit: the plate has a total of 4 small pieces of meat in tots
