I work at a school in Westminster, and I am always looking for different local businesses to try. When lunchtime approaches, my coworker and I are often stumped when deciding what to try. She mentioned Esther's Place as she had eaten there a few times with another colleague. I am always up for a good sandwich, so we agreed on this restaurant for lunch.My coworker picked up the food and brought it back. She mentioned to the owner that I had not yet eaten at this place. The owner was so sweet and gave a complimentary cup of soup since I was a brand new customer. Gotta love small businesses who show appreciation for new patrons!I had the chicken salad on wheat bread, and a vegetable soup which was perfectly hot on this cool, crispy day. The vegetable soup was flavorful and I did not feel like I was missing a protein. It had potatoes, celery, and carrots, perfectly cooked. Broth was tasty, would definitely purchase this in the future. The chicken salad was fresh and light, not lost in mayonnaise. The bread was fresh as well, and the vegetables offered a nice crunch to the sandwich.Esther's Place uses quality ingredients to deliver a quality dining experience. Will definitely be adding this spot to our lunchtime rotation. Thank you!

I'll start by saying "We Love Esther!" She is the sweetest! My husband and I sneak away for lunch and order the soup of the day, what grass shot, chicken salad sandwich, & egg sandwich. Healthy and quick!

The smell of the daily soup wafting in the air, pulling you closer to her door. Imagine the cartoon hand levitating you off the ground lol.. Esther is sweet, inviting and just an overall wonderful person. And her food is very much the same. This is my second time patronizing her establishment and it hits so good. I was a very rainy day today and her split pea soup hit the spot. The last time I came I had her Minestrone and a sandwich which was also very delectable. There is still so much on her menu to try and I definitely look forward experiencing every last one of the items . You will love the food and her so give it a try!

Esther is absolutely incredible. I LOVE seeing her happy face every time I step foot in her cafe. It's always super busy, but not busy that you can't get helped by her. She always makes the time to say hi to newbies AND all over her repeat customers. There's such a neighborly feeling about her and her food. My friend recommended us to grab a quick, light bite and it was healthy and delicious. You could literally taste the love of her food. I've gone back twice since and I've ordered the same tuna avocado sandwich with any of her soup du jour. Can't wait to come back many, many more times. Thank you Esther for being you!!

I was feeling a small and healthy meal and found this place. Esther works behind the counter making the sandwiches and she was so friendly. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with a side of soup, and they were both delicious. I will definitely have to come back to try her other sandwiches.

I love Esther just as much as I love her food! She is always so friendly and warm to all her guests, and she makes the most delicious healthy food. I used to come here for lunch when my workplace was closer, but now that I'm further I try to stop by once in a while to fulfill my cravings (since I crave it a lot, it's really that good). The Esther's Combo is my go-to & the chicken is mixed & seasoned to perfection - I honestly don't even know the full ingredient list, but the combination of the salad, rice, & sauce just hits the spot all the time. I feel healthy eating it & it's the only chicken salad that I can eat continuously without getting tired of it. I believe you can also replace some of the rice for more salad, which I appreciate.I've tried a few other items on the menu (egg salad is also great) but I keep coming back for the same thing. You can't go wrong with any of the entrees! Her shop is in the Old World Village - parking can be a little tight, but the cafe itself has some seating indoor & outdoor. It's usually pretty calm when we visit for lunch & we always opt to sit outside for fresh air~ I highly recommend this spot for a delicious & healthy meal. Esther is literally the sweetest :)

So happy I recently found Esther's again since her move from Warner eons ago! Quality & Flavor remains the same, Ordered Delivery UberEats! Tofu light & heathy, grilled chicken combo & berry shakes + spirullina & B pollen! Tasty & healthy! I will add to my regular Takeout picks.

The owner is friendly, attentive and provides exceptional service. The food simple, well made and delicious. It was great eating outdoors on a beautiful day. A nice place to go for soup and a sandwich.
