My favourite local haunt. Sadly they close the doors permanently March 2, 2025. An unpretentious place to hang out, grab a couple beers, play some pinball, you know.. escape. Thank you Scott for the excellent service and escape from the day to day stresses. I will miss it.

It's always fun to check out new craft breweries, especially ones like Escape that are family friendly and offer games as entertainment. Located off the 5 freeway in Laguna Niguel, patrons have the opportunity to play foosball, pinball and Connect 4 among other games. They offer a wide selection of beers ranging from sours to pale ales to stouts. We visited on a Saturday morning, and the brewery only had 2 guests who seemed like regulars. The website states that they often host local food trucks, but we didn't see any at that hour. I ordered a flight and sampled the "Sounds of Summer" (Sour Sorbet Ale), "Punch Bowl", "Sakura" (White Wheat Ale with Cherry Blossom) and "Redland Nights" (Orange Blossom Blonde Ale). I unfortunately didn't fall in love with any of their beers, it was disappointing they didn't offer anything to eat and the brewery was slow so there was no vibe, but we had a good time nonetheless!

Very nice bartender! The bartender was very accommodating in helping me find a drink as I am not a beer drinker! I appreciate this extra touch! The menu does have a seltzer and a sour for non beer drinkers! We also had a west coast IPA! I hear the IPA was good! The bar has a very nice relax vibe across from the train station! Seems to consists of mostly locals! The bar has plenty of comfy seating as well as high boys! There are a couple pin ball machines too! Parking lot just outside bar!

Beers were delicious!!! Pinball was a ton of fun! And our pup absolutely loved it! The service was so friendly and welcoming. Even kept giving our boy treats. He kept going to the counter asking for more. Super open and plenty of room for parties! Absolutely love Escape Craft Brewery and will definitely be back!!!

Came here on a Saturday night and it was my first stop on an OC brewery hop. It seemed pretty busy and there was live music in the taproom. I liked their menu here, a good mount of different types of beer to choose from. I got the Odelay lager and the Cheeky Tiki. Both beers were excellent. My only complaint would be that the music was way too loud. It's not a big space. It was hard to carry a conversation. Oh and the location of the bathroom is not ideal. Having to walk in front of the live band while everyone is recording with their cell phones is not cool.

I highly recommend Escape Craft Brewing for their vast selection and their very savvy marketing and choice of location. To settle scene, prior to the pandemic there was NOTHING across from the Laguna Niguel/ Mission Viejo Metrolink station except businesses that people would only go to if they had an appointment. There was absolutely ZERO dining or beverage options. Lo and Behold this beautiful diamond among the rough opened and it is a complete gamechanger for the area and I hope they stay. When you walk in you feel you have been transported to some trendy hawaiian village that has walls adorned with palm trees and surf boards and tropical colors that put you in a relaxed state immediately. After my train arrived, I had a Lazy Day IPA which was absolutely fantastic however I noticed they had well over a dozen beers ON TAP and learned that although they don't have a kitchen and thus don't have any warm food, they welcome guests to bring their own grub from home or have door dash deliver to their brewery. I can appreciate that open mindedness and couldn't be more grateful for their presence in Laguna Niguel. I can't wait to visit them on a consistent basis after a long day inside the office.

Came here because it was the start and stop for the South County running group and I am so glad I did! What a great chill place. I used to go to dance on this street and have always found it an bit odd to get to, but it's worth the roundabout drive to get to! The brewery is really spacious, having almost two separate but connected rooms. The vibe is tropical, like you're in a beach hut. They have a few different seating areas so you can take your pick of cocktail tables, lounge corners, car seat couches, or the bar. They even have giant Connect Four and I am sure other games there. The people working were friendly, quick, and helpful. But most importantly, the beer was great! I've been getting in beers more and more every year, but always preferring clean crisp pilsners and ales. This place has your wheats, pilsners, sours, stouts, and an IPA. Coming from the PNW, it's funny only see one or two IPAs. Up in the WA area, they have this crazy obsessions with IPAs and DIPAs - nice to have a wider selection of easier drinking beers. They had some interesting flavors on tap when we went, so I had to get a tasting flight. Tip! They don't list it up there, but you can get a tasting flight of 4 for $10. I think you can taste as many as you like, at $2.50 for a 4 oz pour.I got the "Sakura" cherry blossom wheat, the "Joyride" European Pilsner, "Daydreamer" American blonde, and the "Boardwalk Surfer" cream ale. My favorite was the Sakura, such that I took 2 cans home. It was smooth, had a slight hint of floral or fruit from the cheery blossom without being "fruity," was clean and crisp, and had a softer carbonation. The others were pretty good, but I was hoping the cream ale would have had more sweet creaminess I've come to expect from California Creamin', but that's just my preference. My friend also got the "Nose to the Wind" sour which had a pretty nice sweet fruity taste and obviously sour touch that I know I would have downed. She also was adventurous and tried the "Spork in the Road" cinnamon coffee golden stout. I never had a golden stout before. This was surprising and good! I thought it was going to be dark and dense and hard to drink. Good one to try. But be warned the cinnamon flavor is strong, so if you don't like cinnamon steer clear.Really cool place. I hope to come back again and try more beers and stock up on more cherry blossom.

Chill brewery right off the 5. Been to this location twice now about a month apart, and the second visit featured 4 new beers so the rotation is good. Touchtunes available so you can jam.Beer menu has several IPAs and lighter beer styles, nothing too heavy which I feel really plays into the 'Escape' theme. These are beers you can drink and chill too. Dog friendly. They sometimes have a food truck, best to check their social medias for info on that, otherwise there's chips for sale. Although I noticed a group behind me with in-n-out down the street, so that's cool.

This is my new favorite place to play pinball. It checks off all the thing you would want in a local brewery. Very fun and inviting atmosphere, friendly bartender, great pinball selection. They just got in the new JAWS pinball machine for a total of 4 of the newer STERN machines. I'm not much of a drinker but the American lager I tried was the best low AVB brew I've ever had...Delicious and full of flavor. I highly recommend giving it a try. Overall this place get's a 10 out of 10. I wish this amazing brewery much success and encourage locals to stop by and support this great bar and pinball place.
