El Toro Bravo

We sat in the bar area this morning and Luis and we were happy we did. He came up to us right away and welcomed us. He asked what we wanted to drink and checked on us regularly. He was so friendly and on top of his section. I would recommend if you can to sit in his section. He really made our Sunday brunch enjoyable. Food wise, I love that they have updated thier menu with more options for deserts and food items. Keeping it fresh for people like my husband and I that have been coming here for 15 years it's nice that they keep the staples but change a few things so we have more options.

Really great portions and friendly service. No bathrooms, a few tables. There seems to be a big catering business here as well. The papas tacos were amazing! Came with sour cream, lettuce and fried crispy, 5 stars! Loved the pickled carrots and radishes as well. The carnitas and carne asada tacos I got were HUGE and full of meat. That being said the carnitas were a little dry and I found the carne asada overly acidic. These however has a very extremely generous meat portion, which explains the $4 price tag. I really wanted the lengua (but apparently only have it sometimes, maybe Saturday?) so will be back to try that.Note the parking lot is on the small size. When I went at 1 on Thursday afternoon, I barely found a spot.

I have been going to El Toro Bravo for over 30 years. The carnitas tacos are my favorite.. I highly recommend

Drove by this place so many times and finally stopped by and the tacos were bomb!We ordered three asada tacos and one carnitas. At ~$3 each, the whole order was under $13 which was a good deal. These tacos came loaded! Honestly could've been split into 2 or 3 smaller tacos with the amount of meat in each. Will be coming back here for more tacos, rice, and beans!

We went to this place while waiting for a ride and it just wasn't great. It smells really good from the outside and lured us in. I'm giving it two stars for the portion size and the fact the head meat taco was a tender beef. I appreciated that! Plus, nice temperatures for the lovely steam off of the meat!But, the carne asada may have been left over from the day before... it was hard meat, the tortillas were really dry... but, they tried to make up for that by adding a ton of tomatillo salsa... it was drowning in salsa. The seasoning itself was almost nonexistent. Maybe we just hit them on a bad day?The pictures and presentation are very pretty, but we ended up not finishing the tacos.They're just digesting very heavy in our stomachs.

You get a lot of bang for your buck. However I can see why there there have been some health code violations... when I visited no gloves were worn when handling my food and cross use of utensils.

They do a generous burrito but the beef was a bit too fatty for my preference. The staff are friendly and hard working - the same two guys seem to be there whenever you go in.

For the month of May, I went to the store and made a purchase. I ordered a certain type of meat and well that's not what I got in return. Is they're something you can do to fix this maybe? Since this did cost money so well excuse me, hello?

This place has the best portions! The amount of meat they put into their tacos/burritos is a work of art! The older man working is so friendly and you can tell he takes pride in his role at this location. I've had the Asada, chicken, carnitas, and pastor and I can vouch for the chicken and carnitas. Very good food and even better people
