El Pollo Loco

We had an event at Santa Ana Elks Lodge which was nearby so we decided to grab something to eat prior to our event.Location was nice and clean probably because it was recently remodeled from what I have read from other Yelper reviews. This is the first El Pollo Loco location that I encountered that had self-serve kiosks to place your order. Most locations have cashiers that take your order.

Ordered an 8 piece meal through Uber eats and it is TERRIBLE. Soooooo overcooked and dry, like it has been sitting out for hours. A cat wouldn't eat this.How do you burn chicken this badly? I normally love El pollo loco but this was hands down THE worst order of my life.

Recently remodeled with a make over of self ordering only.I didn't know it was self ordering until I wanted 5 minutes in line and a worker told me to order off the kiosk machine. At first I was hesitant because I thought of how I would typically order things to remove and add extra of X things, but it provided me those options.Food was expected as served, clean store and if you have any request, just ask them when they call out your number.I've been satisfied with what's been presented, although I've had food poisoning once at this location for undercooked chicken (inspect your food before eating).

Always a great option for lunch or dinner. That citrus marinated fire-grilled chicken has a very flavorful taste, and is a pretty healthy meal too. I love the leg and thigh meal with rice and mashed potato's. The corn is really good too. There's usually a coupon in the app, which you can also use to order your food ahead of time. It does get busy around noon, but there is a drive-thru. You also get a short survey on your receipt for a discount off your next purchase. Looking forward to the next time, as always!

This location is not as bad as the rating. Doesn't make sense. Nice workers and the same good food from all locations. What I doing understand though is why I come in regularly at 8pm and they are spraying chemicals on tables and putting up chairs when they don't close until 930. Also Doesn't make sense.

Super disappointed at the service Alondra gave us. She was very rude. Talking to customers like they are 5 year old. Schooling customer that we better add the salsa next time on your order, her tone was just not what I expected. Called the store and all he said was "I guess I should pay attention to the customer service.

I ordered a double chicken salad...this ain't double chicken. Same with burritos they hardly put any chicken more rice and beans than anything.

This place is soooo bad. They have the most rude manager with a black beard. The guy rude to customers. The place is always dirty and the quality of the food isn't great. Avoid at all cost. The most rude service ever.

Ordered a 8 piece meal dinner on 12/24/24. it was awful!!!!!they gave us a chicken spine with no meat on it as part of our 8 pieces..unbelievable!!also the meat was overcooked and so dry that no one could eat it..the cole slaw was completely dry..we asked for pico de gallo ... got none in our order..we got the hot liquid sauce!worst place ever ..I recommend no one ever go there..we will never return..I hope they go out of business with such crappy food and service!!!

They always seem to be out of an ingredient and refuse to make the entree. I tried ordering a salad and they said they didn't have salads anymore but I could order a "tostada" which is actually a salad in a tortilla bowl.
