El Pollo Loco

I now know that there is heaven because i have tasted hell. This place stinks like crazy!!!! Dude they have like 48 piece meals and it's $150. No one gets that, TAKE IT OFF THE MENU!!!! Why do you have broccoli. Like just broccoli. Stop it man i'm serious. I don't want to want El Pollo Loco to shut down because thats a lot of loss jobs. But they need to stop doing what they're doing and first steps is to take broccoli off the menu and to take the 48 piece meals off the menu, no one wants that many pieces of your hellish chicken. 4/5 so no one gets fired.

I would give it a half star if i could i ordered a chicken tostada bowl last week and the chicken was way overcooked. I only go to this one because close to where i work.

This one is gonna hurt. El Apollo Loco has been here since as long as I can remember and I'll be honest, growing up this was the one place that my dad always suggest we go to when we were in a food rut but I hated it cause I was sick of it since he suggested it weekly. That was until I tried the chicken tostada salad then I was hooked. I used to get this salad all the time and then the quality of both the food and the restaurant just went downhill. I gave up going here for years, but recently started to frequent this establishment again but I'm wishing I hadn't. The quality of the ingredients is trash. It's like they don't even try anymore. The salad comes with what looks like odds and ends of stems of lettuce, pieces you don't typical serve. The chicken is rubbery or has super hard bits from the grill and the dressing just doesn't taste as good. I doubt it's made in house but it's definitely different. Also, they recently added carnitas to the menu and I love carnitas so I tried some carnitas tacos and I was beyond disappointed. First of all, my tacos were cold. And I'm not talking about they were left out. No, they were ice cold like they had been in the fridge all day and then fished out once I ordered them. I had to reheat it when I got home which kind of ruined everything else like the salsa and sour cream. Also, there were so many onions and salsa on my tacos that it severely overwhelmed my palate and I could barely taste the carnitas. I'll miss my chicken tostada salads but I just can't keep buying from a company that doesn't care about the food they put out.

But when everything else is closed and it's late on a Saturday night (around 10:00 pm), El Pollo Loco has your backkkk lolWe ordered a ton of food lol 3 bean, rice and cheese burritos. A burrito meal with chips and salsa. A box meal with birria quesadilla and chips/ salsa. And one large Dr. Pepper. With a bunch of salsas for the burritos. The food was good. It hit the spot! The bean, rice and cheese burritos were great. Perfect late night munchie meal! lolEverything was cooked well, and the order was correct. All of the condiments were in there too. Food was done quick. It was a successful food haul for us lolThe Dr. Pepper was a little flat, but that's not a big deal. The food tasted good, so it's fine.

I just had perhaps the best chicken tostada I've ever had. Post work out. Not something I normally order. Well done.

Horrible customer service. Drive through worker always forgets my items. Terrible employees here and terrible customer service. This is why they work in fast food. Avoid this location

Not stoked on this place right now, usually I'm here at least once a week, but today the chicken was so dry it was not even edible. This is the second time that's happened in the last month, I don't think I'll be visiting this location anymore...

My favorite location for sure! Portions are always very full and the chicken is cooked perfectly every time! Just went through the drive thru to pick up a late dinner and the service was great and everything tasted great! Adrianna at the window was super pleasant and helpful. Wanted to make sure the management knows how much I appreciate the service here from the whole team. Would come back anytime I'm in the mood for a healthy fast food alternative.

Horrible, dry, tasteless chicken. Like shoe leather. Customer service is just as bad as the chicken. Hard pass.

Last night I bought a chicken burrito from here pollo loco at harbor. The burrito was so cold like it was frozen but I was hungry So I warmed it up and I then ate it the chicken was black Inside and made me sick all night I had a bad diarrhea till the morning then I called the restaurant to complain about it to the manager and he told me just sorry
