The service alone here deserves 10 stars. When I was ordering food, I blindly skipped over a kid's menu. I did not realize that they had one. So I ordered food for myself (I got the Asada loaded burrito) and I searched the menu for a couple of minutes to figure out what to buy for my young toddler. She is a very picky eater and just more recently has been interested in solids. I found that they have just a basic scrambled sandwich and when I told the person taking my order (I wish I got his name down to give him credit) that I wanted the sandwich for my toddler, and I wanted the eggs to be well done for her. He was very accommodating although it was suggested that the eggs be cooked soft served. He watched my toddler, pushed the food away and only eat the bread which was a Japanese milk bun and very delicious and later he approached my husband and gave him a small bucket of chicken nuggets for free. It was very kind of ham since apparently that was on the kids menu and we did not even notice it. My toddler enjoyed the chicken nuggets even more and we got to split the sandwich. I saw this place on Instagram and was super excited to try it. Typically Instagram places have not had the best reputation where the food looks better than it tastes. That was not the case here. The food looked beautiful and was absolutely delicious. Given the fact that I scarfed it down and did not wait to take a photo (story of my life). I will say that the portions are kind of small for the amount that you pay. The loaded burrito was about $17 and was only the size of my hand. It's very clear that this place focuses on quality of food rather than quantity which I very much appreciated and prefer over a bland butter filled breakfast burrito. Highly recommend!

It's newly opened franchise in Brea. Went in to order sandwich. Was not busy . It took them 25 minutes to prepare it. They never called me and said my order is ready. I have to get up and ask them for the order. It was ready and sitting there on the counter. I ordered chicken sandwich, it was cold, may be because it was sitting there on counter for a while. They gave me something on side , I guess it was gravy. It was nasty. There were six - seven employees. Also menu board is so small and up there. Hard to read the menu items. Need big improvements in service and quality of food.

Ordered the berry waffle and added a side of 2 scrambled eggs and bacon, plus a glass bottle of coke. Ordered at the counter/register and was given a pager to alert me when my order was ready. My food was ready in a few minutes and the pager went off. Back to the counter to grab my meal. After picking up my food i stopped back by the register for a wrapped package containing a plastic fork, spoon, knife, a napkin, and packet containing salt and pepper. Also grabbed a packet of Cholula for my eggs. I really appreciate the Cholula, definitely takes my eggs to the next level. There were also tapatio packets available. The eggs were slightly under cooked, enough that there was a little liquid egg on the bottom of the paper serving cups. I wish they would have had a few more seconds cooking. Let's face it, scrambled eggs aren't that tough to get right. I understand that they tout their soft scrambled eggs, but a little more time would dry them out without making them tough or overcooked. Bacon was crisp and good. The waffles and berries were perfectly cooked. The berries waffles were definitely the highlight of my meal. Simply delicious, sweet but not overwhelming. Prices are fairly high in my opinion for what you get, especially considering that you order at the counter, pick up your food, and bus your table after you finish. Waffles were 5 stars, the eggs 2 stars, and 2 stars for the relatively high prices. So 3 stars overall.

Visited the new EggBred location for breakfast on a Saturday mid-morning. Order at the counter and wait for the beeper to ring to pick up food. There was generally a good flow of customers coming in throughout the morning. Indoor seating only with about 10-12 tables available. Sausage Egg & Cheese Sandwich ($10.49): Breakfast sausage, medium over easy egg, sharp cheddar cheese, roasted pepper chimichurri, and a paprika spread in between a milk bun. Good overall flavors but just wish the cheese had been melted a little bit into the sandwich. Beer Battered Potatoes ($3.99): crispy semi spiral cut potato with house seasoning (plain available upon request). Not sure how plain would taste but these were very tasty with the house seasoning - no condiments needed! For convenience, packaged utensils, napkins, water, and sauces are all self serve located to the left of the ordering counter. Located in the same plaza as Goodwill, Stater Brothers, etc. Easy to find parking without any issues, even during peak hours.

While researching a place for a quick breakfast for the family before we ran our OC area errands, I stumbled upon this franchise, EggBred. I looked at their website and found this Brea location conducive to our Saturday errands run.My wife and I were really excited to try Eggbred, especially after looking at their website menu and read the multiple glowing Yelp reviews for all the Eggbred locations. It was very easy to find a parking space in the private lot that was part of a shopping center. We walked into Eggbred Brea excited to try ou their food. I was immediately disappointed when I saw the line to order food, but all the tables were already occupied. It's a small dining area, so I am surmising most folks are placing to-go orders. A very nice young man sitting at one of the 4-tops graciously offered his table to my family, explaining he was getting his order to go, and moved to sit at one of the few barstools at the counter. Finally, we were able to place our order. It was kinda noisy in this small restaurant, and at first being somewhat under-caffeinated, thought I heard the order taker repeat my order then state it was going to be ninety something dollars. It was only after adding a tip, did I realize our order was $110.89 for the the following:1-Ribeye Steak & Egg Sandwich $15.792-Loaded Burritos - The Ribeye California $17.99/each1-Breakfast Burrito - Ribeye Asada $16.994 Bottled Cokes (12 oz.) - $5.99/eachI was silently hoping the food better be damn good for $93.Our order was soon called, and immediately my entire family was commenting on how small the burritos were when our son brought back to the tabl. I was kinda disappointed when I saw my Ribeye Steak sandwich and its size. I was trying to stay positive, thinking the food will just be awesome and that will somehow justify the pricing and the portion size.First off, the Ribeye steak in my sandwich is not a steak as one would envision. I liken the meat used in all the burritos and sandwich was product is very similar to "Steak Umm". For $16+ I better be getting decent portion of this Steak Umm like product, which, sadly was not the case. All of our selections were meat stingy. Those loaded burritos and breakfast burrito that my wife and our sons ordered were underwhelming in size (roughly a 6.25 inch in length) amount of filling, and overall taste. We all really had high hopes for Eggbred, but sadly it did not deliver for the price, ingredients used and portion sizes. Basically I could of paid $93 or lower somewhere else and gotten way more food and beverages.

EggBred is so unique, I feel like. I don't think I've seen another place around me that serves their kind of egg sandwiches as fluffy as theirs are. I usually get their scramble me softly sandwich and either one of their loaded fries or the avocado toast. This location is in Placentia/Brea area so it wasn't as close to me as their Fullerton location. Love love love the sandwich. It comes super loaded with eggs and the flavors were amazing! The avocado toast was alright -- but I probably wouldn't order it again because the bread does get really soggy if you don't eat it right away. Overall a great spot for a quick breakfast pickup.

EggBred is my new fav local breakfast place! I've tried a few of their sandwiches and each one is absolutely delicious. The eggs are super fluffy and flavorful, the bread is soft and delicate, and each of their ingredients is truly high quality. The way that all of their flavors come together in each sandwich is absolutely phenomenal. We've ordered for pickup a few times and they always have our order ready in a timely manner. I did find a small piece of shell in my egg for my first order, but I believe it was prior to their grand opening and they were still in the training process, so I'll give them some grace for that for the time being. The food itself is quite pricey, but with the cost of ingredients and labor steadily rising, there's no way to avoid that, especially with such quality ingredients. Overall, I'll definitely continue to order from them. Give them a try! You won't regret it! Especially if you're a breakfast lover like myself.

They have a very large menu so it's hard to choose! I went with "scramble me softly" which has fluffy eggs cheese and onions. The sandwhich was very messy to eat, they give you a good amount of egg but it does end up falling out. The eggs are softly scrambled so it was very runny and wet. The bottom of my sandwhich was soggy due to that. Overall I like how many options they have and would like to try something different. I didn't really like the sogginess of my sandwhich but I bet their burritos are good! Service was quick and there is plenty of seating inside. It was not busy when I arrived.
