We've continually have enjoyed great service and well prepared food. this dinner we each ordered stroganoff: one chicken, one beef.the meal starts off with pate and vermouth. next we had a shared salad and an order of garlic bread. a well made margarita was on hand too. if you like cheesy garlic bread, get it!we were filled to the brim even though desserts are tempting so we returned the next night to share the whipped cream pie. another definite must have served on a pretty plate of fruit crème anglais (or melted ice cream, not sure which). it's a most unusual pie of whole strawberries in whipped cream nestled between two different crusts. highly recommended!!iykyk the atmosphere is like being in a cottage with comforting lighting with some tables offering an ocean view.our thanks to all!

Our party ordered two of the specials, Sand Dabs and Filet, both cooked perfectly. The fish was fork-tender and covered in a very tasty caper sauce and served with steamed carrots and rice. The Filet was cooked medium rare and honestly the best filet I've had. The knife slid through the meat like it was butter. The mushroom sauce was excellent. We were served by Dominic, the owner of this long-held family restaurant. His recommendations were excellent and his service beyond reproach. The restaurant is a funky place with low lighting situated right on PCH. There is no parking lot so you have to park on PCH which can be a little tricky as there is no sidewalk to the restaurant. I highly recommend Dizz's As Is if you're looking for a memorable meal.

Company Holiday Party, thank you Ann & Michael for picking an awesome place for our holiday party. What a great place cozy local restaurant with excellent service and amazing food. I had surf & turf OMG ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT & my husband had the rack of lamb & he loved it . We had a party of 12 & everyone loved their food & excellent service. My husband had 2 espresso martini & the bartender did an amazing job. Dominque (owner) was really nice and greeted everyone.

I ordered their escargot on DoorDash when I received the order and opened up the package. The smell was so foul. It was like old nasty outdated chicken. It was foul. I can't believe they serve something like this stay

We had a wonderful Anniversary dinner here last night! Sat on the quaint patio and watched the sunset. Love this place!

The Ambiance was very nice and our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was a throwback to another era. Simple proteins with overcooked vegetables and way too much sauce on the plate. My Cornish game hen was drowning in a sticky overly thick teriyaki type sauce and the plate included a canned peach half with a stewed prune in the middle. My husband had coq au vin, also smothered in a thick brown sauce. The portions are quite large if that's your thing.

Thank you so much Mike. This place is such a great vibe. Great location right next to Victoria Beach Southern California, Laguna Hills on PCH. I ordered the lobster roll and fries and you definitely must stop by and visit if you're in the area. outdoor patio with the bar must come visit there's also a great mother nature like outdoor patio seating, which is very Namaste later on that evening. I also tried the Chino, which was fabulous.‍

The last of the old established Laguna restaurants. Fantastic atmosphere .If you want a drink and some appetizer you will be ok. I would not go here for the food specifically. The menu looks good but for the price , I expect better execution and flavor and presentation for my dollar. It was not bad but it was nothing I would want to come back for .

Great food and ambience, we ordered escargot and lamb. Everything was cooked great. Highly recommend the house wine. Live music was wonderful and the decor is fabulous.

This place was strongly recommended by a friend of ours but it was pretty disappointing. We made a reservation for 7:30 for NYE and when we got there we were told to grab a drink at the bar because it would be awhile. It seems they seated every table without looking at the reservation list. Two other parties were in the same boat as us.We finally were sat at a table a little after 8 and almost immediately asked to move to another table (after waiting 30 mins for our reserved table). They wanted to free our table up for a party of 4. I get that it's NYE but that's why people make reservations--to avoid what we experienced. The food was also pretty disappointing. We notified our server of a tomato allergy and he promised there was no tomato in the dish I ordered. When it finally came the steamed vegetables were drowning in a tomato sauce. When I reminded the waiter I was allergic to tomatoes he said they couldn't do the vegetables any other way. Glad I didn't chomp into them accidentally. The chicken cordon bleu my friend ordered was drowning in sauce and the cheese wasn't even stuffed in the chicken.The place is definitely cute, which is why this isn't a one-star review, but I would just stick to having drinks here.
