Ding Tea Foothill Ranch

This is one of our go to boba place in Lake Forest. We usually order the yakult drinks lychee, mango, or strawberry. My tea drink is the Kumquat Lemon Tea. Their winter melon green tea is pretty good too. You can custom your sugar levels and how much ice you want too. This tea shop is clean and organized. Their staff are friendly and pretty quick.

Ding Tea-Foothill Ranch is located in the Foothill Ranch Towne Center. There used to be a movie theater right next to it (but unfortunately had closed down). This plaza seems really dead and abandoned. There's a good variety of eateries in this plaza that we've yet to try. We ordered a Strawberry Yakult smoothie w rainbow jelly and of course, a Matcha Milk Tea. Both were very good. The Strawberry Yakult drink was delicious!!Ding Tea is my top choice for boba since they are the only chain (that I know of) that has golden boba. I highly prefer golden boba than black boba. Golden boba has a much lighter and more chewy texture, with a hint of sweetness. Black boba is also sweetened w brown sugar syrup, and golden boba is sweetened w honey.Highly recommend Ding Tea if you're looking for good quality boba!!

Ding tea is one of my favorite boba spots! I love that this place has claw machines- so cute!! Its a fun way to pass time while you wait for your drinks.They have a kiosk you can order drinks from too. The parking lot is shared with other businesses and its plentiful.

I like that there's a self service kiosk. That means you can order while someone is ordering on the counter. You can also order online which is really nice because then my drink is ready when I get there if I order ahead. The inside has a background for a nice photo op and there's a crane machine to win cute prizes. The crane is kind of weak so the closer prizes are your best bet. The dalgona milk tea was good and caffeinated enough for me. I do like that you can adjust the sugar level and ice level. It's great for my boyfriend who is diabetic. He gets 30% or no sugar. Just a heads up this place is card only.

I've been here twice and both times they were out of something. 1) ran out of tapioca balls for boba 2) out of oatmilk. I wish they would update their website like other boba places when they're out of an ingredient or better yet just stock your shop accordingly

I love Ding Tea so when I saw they had a location in Foothill Ranch, I got excited. When I ordered my fave dalgona coffee, there was trouble finding it in their system. I offered a work around which worked but my coffee wasn't the same so I was a bit disappointed. This location is a bit small - it offers a shared common seating area outside and inside there's a few tables and chairs. Restrooms were not available for customers which is a deal breaker for me.

Cute location with fun crane machines. They have self-service machine so you can quickly order. I usually love all oolong milk teas from ding tea but I noticed this location made it a little more watered down than I'm used to. The other other teas wete just as good as what I usually expect from ding tea.

Absolutely had a great time coming to this store. They make your order right away and everything tasted good. I ordered their lychee green tea and it was very refreshing and not too sweet. Mg nephew got their lychee chocolate tea and it was quite interesting flavor. As he described it "lychee with a chocolate shake aftertaste". Lol. Mg niece ordered the Hokkaido milk tea which was "tasty and perfect for a hot day". Service was good and indoor decor was nice. This place has games that you can play so that was fun. Will definitely visit soon.

Savory and delicious milk tea. We like everything we ordered. Staff areas friendly fly and service was fast. Cozy ambiance with limited seatings and crawl machines. Highly recommended if you're visiting Foothill Ranch.

Service was very poor. We were the only customers in the store, the young Asian girl working there didn't greet us, didn't look at us, and was in her phone as soon as she finished taking our order. Didn't even wait to give a receipt before she picked up her phone. We felt like an inconvenience to her just being there. My drink itself did not taste good at all. I didn't notice the "how to order" sign before we ordered but the employee also failed to explain to us about how we prefer the sweetness level for our drinks. If I could give it 0 stars, I definitely would. I think it takes more effort to be rude than it does to simply be nice.
