Sunday morningWe tried a couple of spots in Old Town Orange and another spot in Santa Ana, everything was packed! So we said Dennys shouldn't be that busy!? Wrong, it was packed! We said enough driving around, let's eat! Almost every table in the place was occupied, about a 5 minute wait and we were seated. We were helped immediately by Jose R., very young man, super attentive! Our order was out within 15 minutes at max... food was delicious...Not once did my coffee mug go dry! He was spot on! Whoever is running this Dennys, please keep this young man, he was a great hire!

They are open from 6 to Midnight every day. This is my go to Denny's restaurant because of the customer service. The parking is close to building with handicap parking in front. They also do pickup orders and have dedicated parking for those. You have to wait to be seated but there was no wait when I went. I was seated right away. The table was very clean and well organized. The greaters and servers were very kind. The music is festive and not over powering. Its Christmas time. There is a light humm from the diners and light clanking of utensils. There were a lot of people but there was still plenty of seating. My order was taken within three minutes of sitting. I already knew what i wanted. The Everyday Slam with French toast, 2 slices of bacon, 2 eggs over medium. Breakfast is served all day. The French toast was fluffy with a hint of vanilla. It was cold unfortunately but still delicious. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the bacon was cooked well. I would have liked a little more crispy but it was still good. It only took 10min for the food to come out which was fast considering the volume of diners. At Denny's when you're finished eating you have to take the receipt to the front cashier to pay for your food. Then go back to your table to give you tip if you're paying cash.

We had a funeral reception at this location and I was amazed. We were given the back room which was closed off for privacy. The restaurant accommodated the time frame, which needed to be moved up almost an hour (we called and asked if we could arrive "now" basically). The staff was busy the entire time and very attentive. Props to Johanny our waitress. She was amazing and professional from start to finish. She definitely stood out as a great employee. We usually don't go to this restaurant, (Denny's in general) but based on the staffs desire to treat people like family we will definitely put it on our radar. Thank you again Johanny for doing an exceptional job.

Came here with a group of friends late Saturday night and I have to say the service and food was excellent. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of my food because we were hungry, but I had the two pancakes with two eggs, two sausages, two bacon and hash browns. The waiter was friendly, attentive and accommodating - he also helped separate our bill. I am not surprised by their good Yelp reviews.

Love this location! I had a great experience at Denny's on 17th! The food was delicious, came out quickly, and was exactly what I was craving. The staff was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming--perfect for a casual meal. I'll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

She checks on you regularly but so often then it is annoying.
