Dempsey's Sports Bar & Grill

Went in with a friend that frequents this bar. We ordered wine. They only offer Bogle. I ordered a basket of fries as well. Service was meh, and this is a typical dive bar, lots going on. Every night they have some special going on and they have trivia nights as well in Wednesday. The people that I met were friendly. The person o went with knew practically everyone except the bartender that was serving us. They have a pool table as well if that's your stick.

People that work here are great. Food is good. The owner can't figure out this place needs another waitress or bar tender to make it enjoyable for us the people who show up. Bar waits are long for drinks only because the people behind the bar are working too much!

My 4 star review is strictly for our server, and the fact that we frequent this place. Came in to close out my dad's bday weekend on a Sunday night. Let's just say we miss Luis. I ordered a mixed green salad with fried chicken on top.When it came out, i received a salad with cold grilled chicken on there.I let the food server/female chef know and kindly asked for fried chicken. She asked me to keep the old one and advised she would just bring me fried chicken.I kindly asked her to just remake it. When the remake came out, she dropped it on the table and said "here ya go"I received my fried chicken on a bed of lettuce with only tomatoes/cucumbers.NOTHING ELSE. (Please reference the menu to see what the mixed green salad ACTUALLY entails) Our server came back around to check on us.I mentioned that the chef wasn't very pleasant. The response was "no comment" lol.I get it... it's a Sunday night. But from someone who's been in the restaurant industry, the least you could do is apologize and have a smile on your face.This experience was unfortunate but won't change the fact that i will keep returning...

Good ole Dempseys! lol, this is a neighborhood bar in every sense. Those of us in our 30's laugh at the fact its essentially a high school reunion if you went to Millikan and maybe Lakewood in the early 2000's. The food here is real good and affordable even for a dive bar. Fun atmosphere on football nights which come with beer specials. Weekends are when I show up and it's always a great scene because people get along well and theres rarely any issues with people getting too drunk. Bartenders are great and do their jobs well. It's a bit small, but I don't see this place packed too much so the size is almost irrelevant. Great place to get some drinks, enjoy the jukebox and hang with your friends :)

I'm here now, received a menu, gracious and lovely bartender... however had to find the "3 Sliders and Fries" special all day Saturday for $8 via the electronic billboard inside the establishment... would have been nice to know that from my server...

For a busy night, Megan made me an amazing Michelada, followed by amazing carnitas nachos!

So we love Dempseys but this is the second time in recent weeks we have been double charged. So my options are keep a tally at the table or not go to Dempseys. Really sad. When we said something because we had DDs it was adjusted. It seems they just double every drink order hoping suckers don't notice. Sad. We were regulars. No more.

If it was possible to rate the is bar lower i would. I went there tonight with my brother in law and we were attacked by approximately 7 "regulars", for accidentally bumping one of their "girls" with a pool cue. After I was able to stabilize the situation I asked the bartender why she didn't call the cops and she responded that "they are my regulars".Don't go here. You may get harrassed by "locals" and the staff will not do anything to stop their "regulars" from harrassing you.Don't go here. You may get harrassed. No one will help you.I live locally and have a ton of neighbors who go there. I will be telling EVERY one of them how I was treated and that the bartenders do not have the best interest of their patrons in mind.

We use to love this place but recently the service has been terrible. It's Sunday night and there's 4 people working but no one actually serving. There's one guy trying to take care of people, some young kid doing nothing, and another woman drinking and watching the game, don't know what the others are doing. Our friends were waiting an hour for food. What happened to this place ? We also walked out the other day after sitting forever at the bar and no one said a word to us.
