Délice Breton

I came to Delice Breton for the first time after receiving a promotional email showcasing these pink cookies for Valentine's Day that you can dip in champagne! It was a gift and the staff assisted me with putting it in a gift basket, with plastic wrap and a bow! It seemed like the cashier was less experienced, so someone from the back came out and assisted. The gift looked beautiful. I need to come back soon and try the food, because it looked and smelled so good. The restaurant had a lot of seats inside, as well as outside too. Plus, they have some really cool French snacks and candy, as well as a great wine selection too.

Cute little cafe in San Juan Capistrano. There's a few tables inside and outside available for dining in. We were able to dine outside with our dog and baby in her stroller. Staff were friendly and welcoming!We ordered lunch here and ordered a drip coffee, Ham and Brie Sandwich, Beignets, and a Tomato Crepe. The drip coffee was very tasty and a nice smooth taste! The ham and Brie sandwich was unfortunately a bit dry and needed a sauce or seasoning. I had to add ketchup since it was pretty dry but the bread was very tasty with a nice crisp. The beignets were pretty small and did not taste as fresh (maybe because I ordered it around 12pm). The tomato crepe tasted like pizza. Overall I prefer their drinks over the food.

Love the ham and cheese omelette, almond croissants are to die for ! Service is excellant. We are always greeted with smiles and Bonjour ! Françoise is so delightful and personable. So glad to have found this original French place close by. The baguette is better than what you get from Paris!! Don't forget to try their sandwiches Merci beaucoup À samedi !

Great breakfast spot with a lot of different options and coffee. They have a nice outdoor patio and indoor seating.

Lovely crepes! But $43 lovely? Hmm... ordered the mushroom crepes and asked if they had bechamel sauce which is the traditional topping. They only had a mushroom sauce for $4 extra. For $14 crepe I left it as is. Same thing happened on the Nutella crepe. Whipped cream is $2 more. So is the topping. Again, it might be better to increase a few dollars but have the traditional toppings included. Also ordered some bacon. a side of 3 small pieces is $7. Anyway cute store. Love the decor. Go France Food was delicious. I'd like to go back & try the French Onion soup.

This place is located in a business center. It's nestled in the corner with ample parking available. It's decorated cutely however music playing would have really made the ambiance a bit better and helped with the silence.The food was good. My husband and I both got paninis and my daughter got a cold croissant sandwich. My youngest daughter ordered a croissant and when she took a bite it was cold. I asked if they could warm it and they said no since she had already taken a bite of it. It would be nice if they ask if you want it warmed before serving it.

This place is definitely a gem, It's so unique!! Hubby & I have been here twice within the last 3 days. I'm pretty sure we found a lifetime favorite hangout!! The service is outstanding, and the food is delicious!! The ambiance is so quaint & cozy, it's a must check out establishment!! You're gonna love here, I promise!!!

New to this cafe, a bit pricey but delicious sandwiches. I can't wait to try their beignets which I've heard are very good.

Great coffee, croissant, and bread. On the other hand, value is terrible. Sandwiches have barely any ingredients for the price. A lot of people compliment the French onion soup, but based on my experience and travels through France, it is not up to par. Not the worst I've had, but certainly nowhere near the best. For their concept, a Saturday morning should be packed, but it wasn't, just three tables at 10am, that tells the story. Their competitors in the area of South OC are very very busy on a Saturday morning because they offer very high quality for a great value, not to be confused with a cheap price....

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for the past couple of years, frequently ordering the same item--two hot ham and cheese croissants--through Grubhub at least twice a week. While the prices are on the higher side, I have continued to order because my son enjoys them. Additionally, I have placed numerous orders for friends and family.Up until recently, my experience with the restaurant had been generally positive, aside from minor concerns such as the delivery bags not being sealed. However, a few days ago, I placed my usual order of two sandwiches and was pleased to see that the delivery bag was sealed upon arrival. Unfortunately, when I opened it, I found only one sandwich inside.I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with an employee who was both unprofessional and argumentative, insisting that both sandwiches had been included. Knowing otherwise, I asked to speak with a manager but was placed on hold for an extended period. Due to time constraints, I opted to visit the restaurant in person to address the matter directly.The owner/manager was polite and apologetic, acknowledging the mistake and offering a refund for the missing sandwich. I reordered, and the second sandwich was delivered. At that point, I believed the issue had been resolved.However, later, I received a text from the owner stating that, after reviewing security footage, he was confident the bag had not been tampered with. He also sent me photos--without a date or timestamp--showing an employee placing two containers into a bag. He then implied that the mistake was not on their end, subtly questioning my integrity. When I inquired further, he dismissed the situation as a "great mystery."I found this response both unprofessional and unnecessary. This morning, I sent him a message stating that I did not have the time or patience for continued back-and-forth over a sandwich and that I would no longer be supporting the restaurant. I also mentioned that I would be sharing my experience with friends and family. His response was to threaten me with legal action.This entire situation has been handled poorly on their part. As a long-time, frequent customer, I expected a more professional and respectful resolution. Instead, I was met with hostility and an implication that I was dishonest. Because of this, I will no longer be patronizing this establishment.
