Dalton's Cafe

I don't why it took so long to try this place? It's right down the street from our house. I Asked my daughter to pick a place for breakfast and she chose Dalton's this last Saturday. We loved the vibe and the at home country feeling!The service was awesome, and the food was amazing! I have to say I'm somewhat of a "pancake" connoisseur and these have to be one of the best Ive ever tasted! Needless to say we'll be going back next weekend to try more of their delicious menu items. Shoutout to Cheri who gave us a huge free cookie when we told her we were first time customers. Now when the family asks where do you want to go eat, you'll find me here!Thank you,The Hess family

Mom and pop diner setting.Entire staff works to keep coffee topped off- love that.Able to accommodate food allergies.Prime rib and potatoes were delicious. As someone who often can't eat at least 50% of the items in any given breakfast meal (no dairy, eggs, oat, nuts, or wheat), it's rare to have a waiter offer substitutions. I'm used to paying full price for 25% of a breakfast and then paying extra for sides (avocado, fruit, etc.). At Dalton's, when I explained my allergies, our waiter offered fruit and tomato slices as substitutions for eggs and toast. That almost never happens. Extraordinary service!

I ordered Fried Clams for my Evening Rations.I had salad and the two sides I chose were french fries and cottage cheese. In addition I had garlic bread.I had "Wooder" to drink.Quality of the food was quite good and I left very full and very satisfied.Men's washroom was clean and had paper towels available... good. The washroom was designed for one person at a time which is not so good. In addition there is a sign saying that the washrooms are for customers only which I disapprove of.I have a bone to pick with the personal appearance of one of the employees. The guy who greeted me wore his shirt untucked which I consider to be unprofessional. His service was fine but not his appearance.If I was to assign a letter grade like is done in school, it would be a strong B or perhaps even a B+

Yes, yes, yes! I really like this place a lot. This was my father-in-law's place, and he came all the time before he had to stop driving. Now that we are out to see him more often, we come here for breakfast more often.First, the staff here is fantastic. You can see that they know and appreciate their regular customers. They go out of their way with my elderly father-in-law, always making him feel as though he has been missed. They are so helpful and nice. Even the kids who fill the water glasses go the extra mile. Kudos to all the servers!The food is really good. I love the sausage here! The serving are big, there prices are reasonable, and everything is fresh. And the coffee? The best--never bitter. I highly recommend this place. It's very homey, friendly, and has a great breakfast.

On November 8, 2024we found ourselves in the vicinity of a local restaurant that I particularly enjoy.As we entered the establishment, we were promptly seated despite the noticeable busyness of the restaurant. Unfortunately, my preferred seating spot was already occupied, so we joined the other patrons in the central area of the restaurant.Our server, Tammy, promptly approached our table, acknowledging that we had not yet decided on our menu selections.Tammy made our visit so pleasant, her smile and cheerfulness was just the tip of the iceberg. Tammy seemed to have a great repour with each patron and knew many by names. Tammy, witnessed me trying to take a photo of us dining in and she quickly came to our table. Tammy asked jokingly you want a photo of me lol ! Took a picture of herself playfully. We all laughed. I mentioned that I am making memories with my mother in law. So her taking our photo ment alot. I rate them 5 stars as Tammy make our experience this morning a good one , just like a good cup of coffee.

We decided to try Dalton's Café today. The minute we walked through the door we were greeted and sat immediately. Our server, Shelli was amazing! She was very friendly from the get-go and very personable. She recommended items on the menu and believe me we were not disappointed. My mom and I split the fancy chicken salad sandwich on sourdough. Not only was it delicious but it was amazing! The sandwich also came with the side. We chose the side salad and believe me it was huge! Very yummy with Italian and blue cheese dressing! We finished off with two complementary (for being first timers) cookies. They were the biggest cookies I've ever seen and so delicious! My mom had the chocolate chip, and I had the peanut butter! This was such an amazing experience. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Shelli and thank you Dalton's Cafe!

This place is awesome. Great food, good prices and top notch service. Recommended for anyone looking for a great breakfast.

**2.5 Stars** My family and I decided to check out this cute little spot for the first time, and it truly has a charming mom-and-pop vibe as soon as you walk in! We decided to try a variety of dishes, including mozzarella sticks, Dalton's burger, country fried steak, Caesar salad, and chicken noodle soup. Everything was served lukewarm. Although the service could have been a bit quicker and the food a little more exciting, we appreciated the warm atmosphere. Overall, it was a decent experience with room for improvement in both the food and service!

Met 4 friends here cuz I was having work done on my car and had 2 hours to kill. Only one of us had been here before and recommended it. Seemed like your normal local diner, but ALL the food was incredible! The soup came out with tons of veggies and the salad was fresh and chilled. I saw a variety of items at our table that ranged from breakfast to dinner entrees. French toast, Pigs in a Blanket, Monte Cristo and a Steak plate with Spanish rice. Our server, Sylvia, was friendly and efficient. Her helper kept our coffee flowing and water full and chilled. Everyone left full and it was a great experience. We'll be back!

These people are rude and disrespectful. It's ridiculous you can't even find a welcoming local diner anymore
