We enjoyed dinner at Curry Up tonight. To be honest, I haven't had Indian food in 10+ years. I enjoy it in occasion, but it's not something I seek out. That changed tonight. It was AMAZING. We tried a large pizza 1/2 butter chicken and 1/2 tandoori chicken. We also ordered the pesto sticks appetizer. It was so good! Everyone there was so friendly. The owner stopped by to check on us. They have TVs up. One had snoopy playing while the other had sports on. Very smart to have something fit the kids. We are already planing what we will offer for our next visit.

Curry Up Pizza replaced eureka. Looks and feels the same but with a twist. We were the second customer of the day. Small shop owned by a nice Indian man who was a bit flustered from the previous customer so he started off on the wrong foot with me. (Previous customer had a large order of $500 for next day pickup. Asked for a discount and would not take no for an answer. After asking 100 questions about what type of pizza they should order. I thought it was tacky to pressure a newly opened small business for a discount) I asked if the pizza is spicy and he abruptly waved his hand at me to say "just relax you'll be fine". Not in the nicest tone but more like he was tired of answering questions and I was another customer who was worried about Indian food being too spicy. He quickly realized it (likely from my facial reaction and change in tone) and made up for it by being very attentive and pleasant after we got our food. Everyone deserves an "off moment" so I left feeling good about the experience and would defs give it a second try. - Butter Chicken/Tandori Chicken Pizza: if you order a large, you can choose to do two flavors. I favored the Tandori over the butter chicken and added Serrano peppers to give it more kick. - Curry Wings: good flavor, not oily or overpowering. - Tandori Wings: my hubs favored this one over the curry. Nice flavor with very slight kick.

Came here about 30 minutes after I ordered over the phone. The pizza was ready and they boxed it up and charged me, however the wings I ordered were not even being worked on I don't think as I had to wait 10 minutes for those. I ordered them extra crispy and you would think after waiting so long that they would be somewhat crispy, they were not. They weren't good either, very low quality chicken. I asked for the pizza well done and it wasn't well done either. I was also overcharged about 5$ for my pizza. If I ordered it online myself it would have been cheaper. I asked for a large cheese pizza with half pepperoni. On the website that would be 26.99 but they charged me for a half n' half pizza which is supposed to be half an Indian pizza and half a regular one and that pizza is 31.99. The reason for 2 stars instead of one is because the pizza is still somewhat decent even though it sat in the box for 10 minutes as well as the car ride home. The staff was nice an apologetic for taking so long. Overall a disappointing experience.

Hmm 60 reviews and a solid 5 stars, I'm a little nervous to give it a 3-star rating (I'm giving it 3.5 but rounded down), but here's to honesty! I have to admit, there was a CONSISTENT line of people on a Saturday night ordering, sitting, eating. Quite a poppin restaurant! We ordered our pizza online and it was ready in 25 mins which was great! The wait seemed to be an estimated 41 minutes. This was Saturday 530pm. Alas, here's why the 3.5 starsFood: - Half and Half large pizza ($31). Great size and a quite heavy meal for 2 people. 3 would be a comfortable amount. - Chicken Tikka (1/2): Has a slightly more distinct tikka flavor however remains not distinct enough. Toppings were plentiful and falling off -which is great- but I was hoping for more spices to come through. Chicken seemed a bit standard bite sized pieces and not very juicy. - Butter chicken (1/2): Sadly found this to be a bit more of a blendy flavor with the tikka and didnt have much of a profile to it. I can notice the more creamy buttery flavor but not by much! Toppings were also plentiful. Chicken also bite sized but not that juicy or disinct.Put together: I had high hopes but it was just an a-ok flavor situation. Which is unfortunate! Indian flavors are so distinct and welcoming, but the whole pizza itself was a bit flat. Nothing stood out. Nothing was craveable or a single "yum". BUT it wasnt bad either, I enjoyed it, but not for $31. And to make it all a bit more disappointing is that both types of sauces/combinations didnt seem very distinct at all. At times I had to look closely to figure out which pizza I was having. I wonder if my experience was an outlier. Like I said, there were lots of different parties coming and going and the kitchen was full of workers! I really wish the flavors were stronger. When I want a curry pizza (which is not often at all), I kind of want the curry to pop. There was no pop. In fact, the ranch dressing on the side is sadly the only aspect that made the pizza pop. Sad, sad sad! 3.5 stars it is--it wasnt necessarily a bad pizza. In the end, I probably wont be back, which is sad because I'm in the area quite often.

Friendly service, delicious food; come check it out for yourself! What to expect during your visit: friendly service; you order at the counter before grabbing a seat. We were told the wait time for the pizza was close to 40 minutes, which we were fine with. For context, we came on a Saturday night at 6:30PM and we could see there were several larger groups all seated but not yet served. We came in wanting to try two different flavors and went for a half and half pizza. The smallest half and half pizza is a large, and we prefer thin crust. So we ordered chicken tikka (garlic sauce, cheese, red onions, tomatoes, chicken tikka, cilantro and green onions), and butter chicken (butter sauce, cheese, bell peppers, red onions, tomatoes, butter chicken and cilantro). We also ordered their potato chips. Potato Chips $8.99 - think crinkle cut mojo's from Shakey's! It was served with 2 things of ranch sauce. Seasoned, spiced and fried; partly crispy, partly soft potato.Large Thin Half & Half $31.99 - I LOVED the amazing bake of the pizza crust (so even throughout, I easily held a slice with one hand). The dough itself though, makes me wonder if it was made from scratch. The toppings were top notch. I've never had chicken on a pizza that was this moist! Speaking of the thickness of the crust, the pizza that came out was clearly thinner than their normal crust (based on my looking around at other tables), but I personally was expecting it to be thinner.Ambiance - nothing could get more American than the smell of pizza, mixing with the wonderful smells of curry, in a classic pizza parlor, while listening to country music. Overall, the pizza was delicious and we plan to come back to try more flavors!

Definitely a must try for all locals and non. I will be back with friends and the fam! For the pizza purists at heart Don't be scared - It's a regular pizzeria that also has Indian-inspired pizza and wings. As I was ordering, the owner got a call from a customer raving about his pepperoni pizza was the best they ever had and said not to change anything. So that was super promising. Indian fusion pizza has been super popular in So Cal in the last year or two, so it's awesome to have one in YL that's also taste great. No more need to drive out to LA, Pasadena, or Artesia.I been hearing a lot of this place from friends and the opportunity presented itself for me to stop and have lunch here on a Wednesday (walking towards home after dropping my son's car at the mechanic) . I came after the lunch rush and owner introduced himself and chatted with me for a few Mins after he made my pizza. He lives in town and has a growing young family and is excited to be living and serving in the same community. He is extremely personable. The ribbon cutting is actually Thursday (2/20) at 530p - that's how new they are. He spoke about how surprised he was at the popularity of the place soon after opening in Jan and how he was not prepared for that as he was still training his staff at the same time which created some delays and queues. However he confidently spoke how all of those issues are in the past, and he is fully staffed now. Only thing pending is his beer license for his 8 taps. He is in talks with a fantastic local brewery to be serving their brews. However he plans to gather community feedback on YL buzz. As for the pizza:They use higher-end pizza dough. They have a regular pizza crust for those like that the airy fluffy yet chewy crust as well as thin crust for the those who appreciate the crispy pies. The pizza was loaded with toppings. He recommended the Butter chicken for my first time and it was fantastic. Not spicy but super flavorful. He also served it a pre-made jalapeño ranch on the side. It was great- never seen that before. I would order the thin crust next time as that's my jam but the regular crust tasted great. They can split the large and X large in two different types of pizza if you want variety. They have a fountain but do sell both bottled coke and Pepsi soda including Mexican coke for the purists. Also they have the good ice in their fountain machine - the one you can munch on. As for the decor - it's in progress as he said but they have plenty of outlets with USB plugins for those who need to charge their phones. Another month or so as he is awaiting some things to come. Seating capacity is 58 with 2 person and 4 person table tops. He has 3 tvs for game days with one being a big screen. He asked me for my thoughts for consideration about the food: i suggested adding an option for a homemade green chutney drizzle or as a side for more spice, flavor and acidity for the butter chicken pizza and as an healthy and tastier alternative to the jalapeño ranch. I also suggested adding a soda water button to their fountain drink machine (they don't sell club soda bottled either) since a lot of us YL's like our club soda/soda water and are not into soft drinks or iced teas. We talked about other apps ideas but he has his vision of simply awesome pizza, wings, and beer!

Curry Up Pizza hit all the right notes for me. The service was great. I met the owner, and he was very attentive and friendly. I'm usually cautious about fusion food, but these Indian flavors on top of pizzas were actually so good! I could tell they put a lot of time and effort into the pies because the flavors were well balanced and the pizza dough tasted fresh and homemade. We also ordered their wings and chips(not pictured), which were very good. My only critique is I wish the wings were a bit more crispy. Otherwise, the meat was very tender, fell right off the bone, and the flavors were so good. I definitely will come back for more!

When I heard this curry pizza place just opened in my area, I couldn't wait to try it. I like pizza. I love Indian food. Win-win.Let me just say, I AM SO EXCITED about CURRY UP! The owner is the best, super welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is casual, relaxed and family-friendly, like the pizza places I grew up going to as a kid. And it's fresh and clean.I ordered the curry paneer pizza, and added mushrooms and olives. Soooooo delicious! The sauce is freshly made in-house and on point. The pizza was LOADED with succulent paneer cheese and fresh veggies. The combination of flavors is so UNIQUE, SATISFYING and ADDICTIVE. Just 4 slices and I was already full, but it was so delicious I couldn't help but eat a couple of more slices. I should've asked for more spice, but the owner said he can accommodate the desired spicy level next time. They have traditional pizzas, too. The kids loved their half-cheese/half pepperoni (the pepperoni was nice and crispy). There are also some creative spins on pizza. I might try the Mexican pizza next time, too. And the menu offers wings, both traditional and also with Indian flavors.CURRY UP PIZZA is definitely on my short list of treasured places to eat in the YL/AH area, which (let's be honest) has been a sort of culinary food desert until recently. But having a curry pizza restaurant in YL is a sign that things are coming up. Absolutely try this place. If you've never had curry pizza, you'll find that there is nothing like it. You can order delivery, but I would actually go to the restaurant and enjoy a casual night out with the fam over good food! FYI: They'll be offering beer and wine soon! What more could you ask for?
