We were able to order from here on one of the few occasions they open up their pies to retail sales - Thanksgiving! We got an apple crumble pie, pumpkin pie, and pecan pie. The prices weren't extraordinary, like many pie shops can get when they've got good stuff to offer, so I was grateful that they were offering something delicious at reasonable prices. You could taste the goodness and the baking know-how in every bite.The apple crumble pie was good - not the best apple pie I've had, but a solid choice. The apples still retained a slight texture in the pie. The pecan pie was my favorite. It was a new and improved pecan pie. It was with this pie that we realized that my husband's reason for not liking pecan pie in general was because there's too many pecans scattered on top of the traditional pecan pie! This one had a crust with a few whole pecans on it, rather than being covered with them. It was deliciously sweet, and the bottom and top pie crust were fresh and balanced out the sugary insides. Definitely a keeper for future Thanksgivings! Looking forward to ordering again, and looking forward to their continued expansion into retail!

Pre-ordered pies from Crema for Thanksgiving and they were an absolute hit! It was a very easy pick-up. We ordered the Apple Crumble, Pumpkin Pie, and the Pecan Tart - all delicious! However, the Pecan Tart definitely stole the show and multiple people said they preferred that over a traditional Pecan Pie. We'll definitely order again in the future!

This updated review will mainly focus on their croissant loaf.I have been searching for the PERFECT croissant loaf, which is a cross between a croissant and yeast bread (I think). The texture is soft like bread, but has buttery flakey layers when toasted. This mix creates a unique crispy exterior texture that tastes and smells like a buttery croissant, but retains a fluffy interior like you would find in bread.Oh boy, Crema Artisan did not disappoint! I knew that their croissants were phenomenal when I had their pastries so I had really high hopes for this croissant loaf. I am absolutely hooked and happy to know that my search for croissant loaf is over! Seriously, if you have never tried a croissant loaf before, order or buy it from Crema Artisan - it's so good! If I was gonna go down stuffing my face on Thanksgiving, I thought I might as well go down fighting! Ended our Thanksgiving feast with a good pumpkin pie (a la mode!) from Crema and it was worth it! Not overly spiced, just the right amount of sweetness and a yummy flaky crust. I am definitely adding Crema to my regular rotation when I'm down in SoCal. It's awesome that they opened their warehouse location in Irvine for pick up. We pre-ordered and picked up with ease.Alas, my weakness is good pastries so when I picked up the pie, I walked out with waaay more than pie. I was a goner the second I saw the kouign-amann and almond croissants. Both were so good! I might even go as far as saying, this might be one of the best kouign-amann I have had. Flaky, not heavy on the paste, not so greasy that it feels like I ate a stick of butter. Worth the weeks of working out I'm going to have to do for eating all this.

First off, they made a huge and generous donation to healthcare workers at my hospital and I'm so glad they did because I probably would have never found them otherwise! Here is the meal set they gave us along with a loaf of artisan bread Check them out, you won't regret it!!The chicken pot pie (I think): DELICIOUS Say goodbye to frozen Marie Callender's pot pies, these are on a different level! The only thing holding me back from giving this a 10/10 would be that I ate it cold since I had to wait for my lunch break at work! Even then, the filling was flavorful and everything was cooked to perfection. Nothing was overly soft, and I must say the potatoes must have been my favorite. The flakey crust had a great buttery flavor and was still crisp to eat on top. Coleslaw? This one was pretty generic, my only feedback would be that it lacked in flavor a bit. Not a bad pairing with the pot pie though since it was extra flavorful Chocolate Chip Cookie from the heavenly realms of ovens: Soft, chewy, chocolatey. Dangerously delicious for my diet. I could probably eat 5 in one go!

Purchased one of their chocolate chip cookies for $2 at the Orange Home Grown Farmer's Market this past weekend. It was honestly one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've had in a long time! It was extremely soft and chewy, and was not overly sweet. I might have to make this a part of my weekly treat! They also threw in a free small shortbread cookie for me as well. I'm looking forward to trying their other goods the next time I go to the market!

I placed a reservation order on 11/12. I went to pick up my order and I was the 2nd last person to pick up an order for today, a day before Thanksgiving Day. A guy worked at the front told me they run out of the brioche buns I ordered, and offered me to give me what's left from the pastry shelf or dinner rolls. I just don't understand, even though I ordered way ahead of most people, but why didn't I get what I ordered because I was one of the last people who picked up the order for today. What is the reservation for??I was very unhappy with this experience.

Solid almond croissant and Americano. Of course it is a little expensive but it is good.
