I enjoyed a pleasant Thursday morning at the market. I purchased so many tasty treats from as many vendors as I could until my bags got too heavy so many great vendors to select from. I will definitely return soon plenty of parking and all vendors take cards or the cash apps

I really enjoy going to this Farmer's Market! The layout is one huge square, so it's easy to do a loop and see what you'd like before buying. My go-to is the coconut milk stand and the flowers. They have some greatly priced flowers, including eucalyptus! I also will sometimes get the mixed berries or shrimp ceviche, I highly recommend them both! Although it's a small market, there is great variety.

I love this farmer's market because the majority of the vendors are consistent & if there's something in mind that you have to get, you know they'll be there. They just recently re-modeled the layout so the consumables are to the left of the main entrance. I'm not sure if it helps with the flow or ease of shopping overall...but I love the increase in popcorn suppliers and jerky! From 1 each to 3 each respectively, the last time I went! As a side note, if you have the time to walk each aisle, I would highly recommend it. There's a lot of random treasures. I got two Kikkerland stainless steel collapsible cups for $2.50 each, a regulation size Molson promo goalie stick for $15 (bargained from $20) and a vintage mint condition Disney book for $3!

My wife used to come here every week. She knew many of the vendors by name, and vice versa. It was definitely the best place around to get fresh and tasty produce.Alas, times have changed. It seems like one by one, vendors leave or get kicked out of here. Once we were able to get all of the fruit, vegetables, and herbs that we would need for the week at this market. Unfortunately, that no longer seems to be the case. They still have some good vendors left, but it's not the same anymore.Unless you live really close by (like we do), I would say that this market isn't really worth your time. Chances are, there's a better one near you.

Local groceries and some great local foods. One of my favorites but Thursday morning is an odd time to go out there.

Great selection of organic and fresh produce. Lots of vegetables like onions, salad, kale, carrots, turnips, oranges, and berries. Not only is everything fresh, but pricing is much better than at grocery stores. Plenty of parking and easy to find the location! Currently located at Gate 8 due to COVID testing at the fairgrounds. Will definitely be coming back for their good quality products.

In spite of the August heat and hot paving, this was still a great place to get those hard to find, good quality items that Farmers' Markets are famous for. Not too many reviews for this market, not sure why.And I am surprised to read about the entrance fee. Did we skate, or do they not charge on Thursdays? (We were initially here because of the food trucks but just moseyed on in. I saw no ticket taking.)Dry Dock Fish Co. I love that you can find really fresh fish here. We have always gone to their store front location in Fullerton (its closer for us) because of the incomparable quality and freshness, but for those who don't want to wrestle with the freeways, here you go! If they have swordfish, get it! We also love their sushi grade salmon, the best there is.Gourmet Tamales. Wish I had gotten more. Three fat tamales in a package, not cheap at $7, but they knock off $3 if you buy 3 packages. Well worth it, the masa is tender, the filling generous and overall very good tasting. They have savory and sweet tamales.Tarts and Things. These little desserts are especially yummy. And they give samples. They come in small containers, already frozen, so we stashed some in our freezer, Tropical Mango, Coffee Coffee, and Caramel Banana.Hopkins AG. They do nuts and nut butter. Grabbed a couple of bags of flavored almonds, the Mexican Chocolate and the Maple Orange, and also a small tub of salted natural almond butter. I cannot say how much we are enjoying these!August is a superb time to find beautiful heirloom tomatoes, you know, the ones that taste like tomatoes are supposed to taste. I found one vendor there that was much cheaper than the others, as in about half the price per pound, so make sure you cruise before you decide. There are plenty of vendors, roasted peanuts, honey, kettle corn, lots of purveyors of fruits and vegetables, exotic and not, flowers, and herbs. This is a great way to find a far better grade of fruit than the tasteless picked-green varieties that chain markets dare to sell. Much of this stuff is high end restaurant quality. True, you are not saving money, but for what you get, it will tickle your creative inner chef and make you and your family smile. Come on a Thursday.

I came here for the first time mainly to buy tarts from Tarts N' Things, but ended up getting more than that. This is located in the Costa Mesa Fairgrounds parking lot. I entered through Gate 2 off of Fairview, but I think you can enter through Arlington too. Parking and admission is free, and the market is open 9:00a-1:00p every Thursday. Cash is best.I was actually surprised to see how small this farmer's market was - just 2 small rows of fruits and vegetables, nuts, tamales, baked goods, fish (yes, seafood too), etc... Although I was here for one purpose, I decided to browse and bought a basket of fruits (a combo of fresh blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries) for $10, and 2 heads of (butterhead?) lettuce for $3. The prices here may be neck and neck with Mother's Market or Sprouts, but they are definitely fresher! My kids loved the berries and said they were sweet. That alone makes it worth it to buy from a farmer's market and support local farmers at the same time (which I think Mother's and Sprouts already does too).

Went there today and a worker at the fairgrounds told me it was closed today. He didn't tell me why or if it's gonna be there next week. But it definitely didn't happen today. No explanation or signs or posts. Just no farmers market
