This place may have "coffee" in the name, but sandwiches are their game. People line up at lunch for good reason. All the seating is outside and mostly shaded with umbrellas with a nice view of the harbor. I'm not a turkey sandwich person but I really liked my Madwich because of the havarti, apples, cilantro vinaigrette, and especially the pretzel bun. I tried the husband's chicken salad sandwich but it wasn't as good as mine and lacked salt. The teenage boy liked his spicy panini. The half sando half specialty salad is priced way too high at $23, especially when you keep in mind that the full size salad you'd be getting half of is $16. The daughter wanted the half sando half specialty salad but opted for a half sando with side salad instead. Despite being half sized the sando and salad in that are quite sizeable, but unfortunately the options aren't as exciting.The mortadella in some of the Italian subs and paninis has pistachios, and should be noted in the menu for those with allergies.

Cute coffee shop and cafe. Nice ocean view. This shop is a bit bigger than meets the eye. There are two separate stores that are joined. Next to each other. Service was good. Coffee was good. I believe I got cold brew with half and half. I also noticed they have ice cream.

This place was fantastic. Great view, amazing weather and decent food. Got BLT sandwich, great portion. Drip coffee was good. Also got açaí bowl, definitely pricey but tasty. Chicken tortilla soup with delicious sourdough.. love it. Went to the other side, got iced vietnamese coffee and ice cream... SO good! One negative but Im not going to take a star away, you can't sample the ice cream. So, it is what it is with the flavor you pick. Go with your guts. Love this place!

Don't let the name fool you - I come here for the ice cream! Coffee Importers has my favorite ice cream flavor of all time, Kahlua Truffle. The service is fine and you can't beat the location, right on the harbor in Dana Point. It is a great spot to get some quality ice cream, enjoy the beautiful SoCal weather and charming shopping center. One of my favorite spots to visit when in Dana Point.

We love our coffee importers.. The service is so good the coffees are delicious and I can't believe that it is springtime in there still offering their gingerbread latte !!! Stop it it's so good.... We know that Dana is going through some massive commercial changes And we are really hoping that the coffee importers stays in the community .

I used to come to coffee importers super often and get a pat bagel and it was around $4.. a pretty good deal.Came down here today and it was almost $9 for a bagel with tomato and avocado. Couldn't believe it. Crazy what greed will do to ruin a business. Good work Jim! $23 for this! Get real Jim

Hello. Let's talk about customer service. My mom and sister enjoyed tasty snacks and beverages while indulging in a little vacay when my mom lost a small jewelry bag. Filled with sentimental pieces from people long gone, she was beyond distraught. A quick call to the lovely folks at Coffee Importers once they returned, and they were able to locate the bag thanks to the efforts of the staff and manager. Jim was a true gentleman and helped make sure that the bag found its way home, even calling back to double check the mailing address. Jim and his co-workers went above and beyond for a stranger when they didn't have to. Refusing a reward, as true heroes tend to do, all I can do is write this review as a means of saying thanks. Thank you, Jim. Thank you, Coffee Importers crew. You made my mom very, very happy.

Very disappointing, I love the ice cream and coffee from here! But the young girl at the ice cream station watched me walk up looked at me and continue to talked to the other employee refilling the ice cream. I asked her if I order ice cream there and she replied with "yes" and looked back at the girl. Confused, I looked around to see what flavors they offer. My sister asked for a specific one, the same girl said "yeah" and gave a dead stare. We then proceeded to give our order. Very rude and I know this place has good customer service too!Another thing I ordered a coffee with whip cream and when I got my order it was half empty. Very disappointed:( I love this place, sad about my visit. 12/10/2024 around 7:45pm-8pm
