Coffee Dose - Back Bay

This is my go to fun coffee spot. I love bringing friends from out of town here. Love the colors, energies and overall aesthetic of the place. The basic bitch and Mary matcha are my usual go-tos. They have a small pastry selection and food. I had the chichi burrito the other day and wow. Let me just start off saying I'm not a huge burrito person, but can appreciate a good burrito. This was more than a good burrito. This tasted delicious and clean. Like you made it yourself at home but to perfection. Love that they are seed oil free. The fire sauce on the side looked a little weird to me. It was bright orange and in a tiny container. But I decided to try it. And I have been craving it with the burrito ever since. It's a spicy little thing but has so much flavor and a touch of sweetness. Paired perfectly with the burrito. I also ordered their current flavor of the month - banana coffee. This was good but I prefer the basic bitch. I had no idea the food here was so good. Very glad I tried the burrito. Next I cannot wait to try the Sir Psycho Sexy. Highly recommend this place. Especially on a Monday morning when you're not looking too forward to work. This place always perks me up.

The first location I visited was the Rodeo 39 location (In Stanton). Their drinks were consistently mediocre. I love Rodeo 39 and was excited to have a coffee shop inside, but unfortunately, each visit left me more disappointed. I will give credit that their banana bread is pretty decent.I later visited this location and was absolutely stunned by the ambiance--super vibrant and fun inside. However, the coffee was awful. As someone who frequents a lot of different coffee shops, it's disappointing. The beauty and aesthetics of this location do not match the quality of their drinks.Also, I heard the Stanton location is closing down..

This place is always busy DONT BE SCARED YOULL FIND A SEAT!My best friend actually showed me this place and it's a perfect spot for a girls day lunch/brunch. It's super cute inside and everything has a special touch to itThe food came out super fast and tasted amazing especially with the drinks they have here loved the chai.I opted for a sandwich called the Uncle Nicky amazing sandwich would definitely order it again

***Only reviewing based on to go order.Apparently I have been sleeping on coffee dose even though I've lived in Newport for almost 2 years... mainly I've been deterred by the line I've seen everytime. It's always packed inside unless you come during a weekday during the middle of the day. However, they now have an app that allows you to order online which has made everything convenient! Every time I've ordered on the app so far my order has been ready at the time of pickup and correct.I originally tried the Clubhouse location in Laguna Hills and was instantly hooked after trying the Mel's bananarama matcha latte. I've now tried both of the Mel's bananaramaLattes (the regular and matcha) and the Uncle Nicky's sandwich. I literally have been thinking about these lattes nonstop since having my first one. I already had it 3x this week!! Helpppp I'm addicted! I will say the Laguna Hills location had more of a banana taste and it's been slightly more subtle of a taste in the Newport location. Still delicious. Looking forward to trying many more drinks!! Recommend ordering on the app online and taking to go to skip the line bonus tip: you can drive/walk one street down to walk around the back bay while you also enjoy a nice view/vibes!

This is such a cute, pretty in pink space. It's high key for the girls, and I love it. The service is quick and efficient. They have a small food menu but what really stands out is their creative drink menu. Recently I got their matcha with banana cold foam and ooooh weee I need to try to make that at home, it blew me away.

Service is good. It does get busy here though and parking lot is not super big. Nice aesthetics for photos. Food is good but salsa was not as fire lol but still okay. I enjoyed my burrito better without the salsa. Coffee was delicious as I will never complain on coffee lolGood spot to just grab coffee and breakfast quick.

My SIL recommended Coffee Dose whilst visiting from NorCal. We walked over from the BB Loop trail with our dog Maddox and was able to snag a seat outside. Yay! I'm a huge fan of sarcasm and enjoy cursing so I LOVED the tongue in cheek vibe of this coffee shop. I ordered the Fa La La Latte and my husband got a nitro cold brew, loved the unique flavors of my drink although it was super sweet. I ended up adding some of my husband's cold brew to it and that fixed it right up. I just read in another review saying you can ask to reduce the sugar level though so I'll have to try doing that next time. My husband and I split the steak and eggs and it was just okay definitely wouldn't order it again, the fire sauce was too sweet. Service was fantastic! It was crazy busy, line out the door and one of the managers came out and asked if she could give Maddox a pup cup which was so sweet. It had a big dollop of whipped cream and some kind of meaty dog treat in it, he loved it.Looking forward to coming back and trying the Goldie and the Chi Chi breakfast burrito.

Super cute coffee shop!! Girly and pink we love it. I tried their winter matcha and the matcha + cinnamon was honestly life changing! So delicious it adds the perfect amount of sweetness to the matcha. Can't wait to come back and try other drinks.They also serve brunch.

If you care about aesthetics, then Coffee Dose is definitely a super cute place to visit. I love the concept, vibes, and color schemes here--it's really fun! The customer service is also friendly. I came here around brunch time, and despite the glowing atmosphere, I thought the food fell a bit short. I tried the Chi Chi Burrito and the OG OC. The Chi Chi burrito is like any other breakfast burrito. It was flavorful and filling, but then I got to the bacon and the amount was a little overwhelming for me as it made the burrito much saltier. Their menu recommends to get their fire sauce. Honestly, I was not a fan. The taste was... interesting. There was no kick to it, it was just very sweet and tangy instead. I wish they had other hot sauce options. The OC OG was pretty decent, but there was an overwhelming amount of avocado. It can get tiring after a few bites. I would primarily come back for the vibes. The Foxy Loxy on the menu looked good, so maybe I'll try that as well if I were to revisit!

I love all the coffee doses in our area. It was our first time actually sitting down for breakfast and we loved how the burrito was a bit crispy with that toasted tortilla, to the crunchiness and kick of the chilaquiles. Kids love the Nutella waffle because well duh it's Nutella who doesn't. I also order the Mary matcha after I workout at motion in Laguna hills - gives me all the energy I need to get through the day.
