CJ Coffee House

I wanted to like this place more. Felt like supporting a local non-mainstream coffee shop so I came by CJ Coffee House on Friday afternoon, with a friend, for a hot beverage and catch up session. Upon entering, the shop had a bit of a stale and and not well maintained atmosphere to it. Nonetheless, I made sure to keep an open mind. Ordered at the self-service station but had a f/u question for the cashier and she was unfriendly, didn't even as much as crack a smile, and used the fewest possible amount of words to respond to my question. Perhaps she was having a not so good day, all good. Hot honey almond latte came out to $6.45 (for a medium) after a $0.20 convenience fee was added to the total? Not sure what that's about. Waited about 10 mins for my drink, which to me felt like a long time. On the plus side, my drink was satisfying and comforting, it hit the spot. Took a seat at a table towards the back which hadn't been wiped down, had our coffee and conversations, and were on our merry way. CJ Coffee House has potential but just needs some TLC.

I ordered on uber eats. When I came to pick up the food the staff was very rude and did not even greet me for 5 minutes. Food was not ready on time and the coffee was awful. The toast was cold.Very over priced. Awful experience.

I got an iced ube latte. It was ok, but I probably won't be back for that. The customer service was nice. But we saw a few fruit flies flying in and around the bagel case. Some even landing in the bagel. So it turned us off and we went to the cafe across the way. Sad to say but we won't be coming back here any time soon.

Slow and inefficient. Did not start making my latte until I went back up to the counter after watching others who had ordered before me already leave with their orders. Irritating experience for mediocre latte. Will be going down the street to Tru Bru or Cyranos in future.

I've been coming here for a few years as a pit stop on Sundays during my motorcycle ride. Today I burned my arm on my hot exhaust pipes. When I got there I asked if they can put some ice in a bag for me so I can put it on my burn. They got me a ziplock full of ice but not only that, they also went into their first aid kit and got me burn lotion. That was so amazing of them. Not only is the food and drinks good, but also their care. Please visit this place and support a local business !!!!

What a fun yummy place right by the house. The smoothies are delicious and the breakfast burritos are amazing!

My go-to order is the Blended Matcha Pistachio and the Sunrise Bagel, they taste even better after a hike through Peters Canyon. Service here is always kind and accommodating. They do get busy here especially on the weekend, so you may have to be more patient but the food and drink is worth the wait!

I came here for the first time yesterday. Overall, the experience, coffee, location, and customer service were all great. The ONLY reason I'm not giving it the full 5 stars is because my drink came to $8!Upon entry, it's a quaint little spot in a pretty nice strip mall. There were adorable tea pot planters on the outdoor tables, a couple spots to sit outside, and overall, a cute inviting interior.My friend and I were able to order right away. For a small production, the service was very fast for our drinks (I have no idea if food is slower).I saw there was a matcha pistachio latte, and asked if they would be able to do it as JUST pistachio. There was no issue! So I got a 16 ounce, iced, pistachio latte with oat milk and an add shot. She even asked me what level I wanted the sweetness (very considerate since I like the sweetener on the low side personally).My friend got the 20 ounce Ube latte with oat milk. I will start by saying that I know my customization adds to the cost of the drink, but I do those two things pretty much every where I go and order, and I don't remember the last time it came to $8. (yeah yeah yeah...inflation...blah blah blah).The coffee was DELICIOUS! It had just the right amount of flavor, sweetness, it was a nice coffee with no harsh bite. There was even a little bit of crushed pistachio sprinkled on top. That made for some nice surprise sips when they sank to the bottom.I'm all about supporting small businesses and little local coffee spots, and this is an absolute MUST visit! They had a pretty extensive food menu that I hadn't even gotten to yet, but I'm excited to go back and try it. I will be back, it just won't be a spot in my regular rotation due to the cost being a little higher than some of my norms.

Was looking for a yummy coffee spot nearby and I finally found it! It's a hidden gem and will 100% be going back. I got the iced matcha latte and loved it. Also gets a 10/10 for the cozy vibes :)

Food is great. Service is horrible. They are about as indifferent as you can be about waiting on customers in a timely manner. Stood for nearly ten minutes waiting to order at the counter while one person made food and the other sat at the break table adjacent doing nothing. Break over, finally took my order. They behave as if they absolutely don't care if you get served or not. That food is good but the service is beyond bad. Stop there only if you have nearly infinite patience and lots of time to stand and watch.
